The Silicon Valley that we see today

has been completely corrupted by Venture Capital

and the Technology Tabloids, as I call them,

people who read TechCrunch and Business Insider

instead of actually working on real innovation

all real innovation that has happened in history

has taken place at the margins

with people trying to solve problems

who didn't have enough resources to solve them

people who were really challenged

by resource constraints,

and who usually had a lot to loose

if they failed in solving their problems
