On our way to tour some apartments in LA!

First apartment!

So, an update on the entire apartment hunting situation:

I actually decided to move into one of the studios that we toured.

It's the one with the nice bathroom mirror lights.

Because I went into this process having a set budget

and a set location in mind,

I think that eliminated a lot of the potential

apartments that I could have lived at.

So, we only toured 3 apartments, and

there wasn't a single apartment that I completely fell in love with

considering all aspects of the living environment.

The location, the size of the windows, natural sunlight,

the bathroom, parking lot, etc.

Considering all of those, there wasn't a single apartment

that had everything.

But, I weighed the pros and cons of each of the 3 that we toured, and

I ended up choosing the apartment that had the nice bathroom.

For some reason, a nice bathroom is top priority for me.

I finished setting up my utilities and electricity and all of that good stuff.

So, I started packing yesterday.

I just threw in all of my winter clothes into this suitcase.

Winter in LA doesn't really get that cold.

So, I just have sweaters, long sleeves...

I also have a box of clothes over here that I need to look through.

Possibly this one...

And this one...

And maybe that one...

I'm just going to pick out all of the clothes that I'm going to take.

I also got this advent calendar from Yesstyle. #gifted

I'm going to be unboxing this in December.

This is my first ever advent calendar.

I always told myself that I would get one, but

by the time I wanted to get one, they were sold out.

I also recently got this little guy.

Everyone's been saying it looks like Jungkook from BTS lol

My mom always buys flowers when she comes here

I have a lot more winter/fall outfits than I do summer outfits.

I don't even know if my closet is big enough to store all of these.

@ my volunteer shift

I was the first one to get there, so I'm just waiting for others

I came back from my volunteer shift, and

now I'm going to be moving out.

Today, I'm only going to be moving in my clothes and

some bathroom and kitchen stuff.

We have to wait until the weekend for our U-Haul

to take the mattress over, so

I'm going to be sleeping back at home for the next 2 days.

Super excited to see what my unit looks like cuz

it's my first time seeing it.

Hopefully, there are no unpleasant surprises.

That would not be good.

Arrived at my apartment!! (It looked better than I expected :))

I just finished moving all of the stuff.

The bathroom is super nice.

It has a shower booth.

I just got my Spectrum wifi router.

I need to set this up.

I also ordered a table from Amazon, so

I'm going to unbox this and set it up right now.

All of the instant noodles and korean snacks are going to go here.

I just got my furniture.

That's my sofa,

and this is my desk.

sigh

I'm so bad at building furniture haha...

LOL

Okay, so update on building furniture:

I built my sofa, and it's so cute.

It fits perfectly between the two outlets

so that I could use both of them.

It's big enough for about 3 people to sit, and

I can lay down on this like this.

And as for the desk, I actually need a screwdriver,

which I don't have with me right now.

I could still put stuff on it right now,

but I just can't adjust the height.
