Switching Lives with NataliesOutlet (gone wrong lol)

  • 0:00 - 0:01
    - The ambulance came.
  • 0:01 - 0:04
I was taken off to the emergency room.
  • 0:04 - 0:08
    - Amanda, are you doing this to me?
  • 0:08 - 0:09
    - Oh?
  • 0:10 - 0:12
Natalie, ow do you do this every morning?
  • 0:12 - 0:14
    - Amanda, I tried to
    do you, but I couldn't.
  • 0:14 - 0:17
    (chill music)
  • 0:19 - 0:20
    - Hi guys.
  • 0:20 - 0:21
    Okay. What's you're
    about to see is probably
  • 0:21 - 0:24
    one of the most chaotic
    vlogs that I've ever made.
  • 0:24 - 0:28
    I didn't know whether I was
    going to talk about this
  • 0:28 - 0:31
in a video or not, or if I was
just going to brush past it
  • 0:31 - 0:33
but a lot has happened in
    the past couple of weeks.
  • 0:33 - 0:35
Initially, it was supposed to be a collab
  • 0:35 - 0:37
with NataliesOutlet, but as you'll see
  • 0:37 - 0:38
things got a little bit derailed
  • 0:38 - 0:39
and I could have refilmed a lot of things
  • 0:39 - 0:40
but I was like, you know what?
  • 0:40 - 0:41
I'm not going to fake it.
  • 0:41 - 0:44
I got to stay true to my
    real life and what happened.
  • 0:44 - 0:46
And I thought it might be
    entertaining for you guys anyways.
  • 0:46 - 0:50
    So yeah, here's that video.
  • 0:50 - 0:54
    Me and Natalie decided to
    switch routines for a day.
  • 0:54 - 0:57
And then this is what happened.
  • 0:57 - 1:00
    - So I wake up around
8:00 AM, let my body rest.
  • 1:00 - 1:01
    It's good for me.
  • 1:01 - 1:02
    I usually, I have a little
  • 1:02 - 1:05
    like cuddle session with
    Jupiter in the morning.
  • 1:05 - 1:06
    And with Dennis.
  • 1:06 - 1:08
Jump out of bed in my Rilakkuma slippers.
  • 1:09 - 1:10
    - Good morning, everyone.
  • 1:10 - 1:14
It is a bit past 8:00 AM.
  • 1:14 - 1:15
It felt really nice to sleep in
  • 1:15 - 1:17
    because I don't normally
    let myself do that.
  • 1:17 - 1:20
Oh, also by the way, I dyed my hair
  • 1:20 - 1:23
in the time that we filmed
    that Zoom call and now,
  • 1:23 - 1:26
so that's why my hair is
    black and not brown anymore.
  • 1:26 - 1:30
I really had to fight off the initial urge
  • 1:30 - 1:34
when I woke up in the morning
    to not just mindlessly scroll
  • 1:34 - 1:35
through social media on my phone
  • 1:35 - 1:38
    because that was one of
    Natalie's first rules.
  • 1:38 - 1:40
So I'm trying to follow that.
  • 1:40 - 1:44
Unfortunately, I do not have a
dog to cuddle in the morning.
  • 1:46 - 1:48
Let me see what I can find instead.
  • 1:48 - 1:49
    Okay. I have this plushy
  • 1:49 - 1:52
that a viewer gave to me at a meetup once.
  • 1:52 - 1:55
So I will be cuddling this instead.
  • 1:55 - 1:57
Natalie to jump into some slippers.
  • 1:57 - 2:00
So I have my Pusheen slippers,
  • 2:00 - 2:02
    aren't they cute?
  • 2:02 - 2:05
    - The first thing I do in
    the morning is I hydrate.
  • 2:05 - 2:06
Sometimes I get a little fancy
  • 2:06 - 2:09
and add a little apple cider vinegar.
  • 2:09 - 2:11
    - I hope it doesn't taste bad.
  • 2:15 - 2:16
    Oh no.
  • 2:19 - 2:21
    It already smells intense.
  • 2:21 - 2:24
    (spoon clinking)
  • 2:26 - 2:27
    Bottoms up.
  • 2:27 - 2:28
    Cheers.
  • 2:30 - 2:31
    Okay.
  • 2:34 - 2:35
    Oh.
  • 2:38 - 2:39
    Oh...
  • 2:42 - 2:45
It wasn't as bad as I
    thought off the first sip.
  • 2:49 - 2:50
    Oh...
  • 2:52 - 2:53
    Okay, nevermind.
  • 2:53 - 2:54
    It's very vinegary.
  • 2:54 - 2:56
Natalie, how do you do this every morning?
  • 2:56 - 2:59
Okay, I'm gonna have to add
    some more water to that.
  • 3:02 - 3:02
    Ooh.
  • 3:02 - 3:05
    It definitely wakes you
    up, I will say that.
  • 3:05 - 3:05
    Drink the rest
  • 3:05 - 3:08
of this and then get the
    rest of my day started.
  • 3:11 - 3:14
    My routine has been waking
    up at 6:30, so it's a little-
  • 3:14 - 3:15
    - [Natalie] Oh my god, that's amazing.
  • 3:15 - 3:19
    - 6:30 to 8:00 I'm like on my phone.
  • 3:19 - 3:21
    I'll have coffee, breakfast.
  • 3:21 - 3:23
    I always take vitamins.
  • 3:23 - 3:26
I'm a big vitamin person in
    terms of energy and stuff.
  • 3:26 - 3:29
    Because you know, take care
    of your health everyone,
  • 3:29 - 3:31
but that's really important to me.
  • 3:31 - 3:34
So that's kind of my morning block.
  • 3:34 - 3:36
    - Good morning.
  • 3:37 - 3:40
    It's six in the morning.
  • 3:40 - 3:43
    Jupiter just woke up, he's
    like, what's going on?
  • 3:43 - 3:45
I'm waking up at Amanda's time. Help.
  • 3:47 - 3:48
    Even Dennis is sleeping.
  • 3:56 - 3:57
    It be too early.
  • 4:00 - 4:02
My dog is ready to get his day started.
  • 4:02 - 4:03
    I'm not.
  • 4:04 - 4:07
Amanda, why are you doing this to me?
  • 4:08 - 4:09
    Look at that sleepy face.
  • 4:18 - 4:21
    Enjoying the morning calmness.
  • 4:21 - 4:22
    Yeah!
  • 4:24 - 4:25
I feel like if my neighbors
    see me, they're like,
  • 4:25 - 4:27
"What the hell is going on?"
  • 4:27 - 4:28
    You know?
  • 4:28 - 4:29
    It's so early Natalie.
  • 4:32 - 4:33
    He's enjoying this.
  • 4:35 - 4:36
    Okay.
  • 4:47 - 4:49
Listen guys, it doesn't look pretty
  • 4:49 - 4:53
but all that matters is what's
    on the inside, nutrition.
  • 4:53 - 4:56
So then usually in the morning,
    Dennis is cooking breakfast
  • 4:56 - 4:58
putting myself in like a good mindset.
  • 4:58 - 5:01
    And Jupiter's outside
    somewhere rolling on the grass.
  • 5:01 - 5:03
    That's usually how it goes.
  • 5:03 - 5:04
And it's like my little morning time,
  • 5:04 - 5:07
    we put morning cartoons,
    which is the best.
  • 5:07 - 5:08
    - Since Natalie said
  • 5:08 - 5:10
    that she's been watching
    morning cartoons with Dennis.
  • 5:10 - 5:12
I think it's so fun because I used to grow
  • 5:12 - 5:15
    up watching morning cartoons
    every day before I went
  • 5:15 - 5:18
    off to school, I remember
    the exact time slot.
  • 5:18 - 5:21
It was always Pokemon right before school
  • 5:21 - 5:23
    but then I would never
    get to finish the episode.
  • 5:23 - 5:26
    So doing this really takes
    me back to my childhood.
  • 5:26 - 5:30
So I put on some old
    Totally Spies episodes.
  • 5:30 - 5:32
    If anyone remembers
    that show, they actually
  • 5:32 - 5:35
    have full episodes of
    Totally Spies on YouTube
  • 5:35 - 5:39
    so I have definitely been
    binge-watching a couple.
  • 5:39 - 5:40
    My favorite was definitely Alex,
  • 5:40 - 5:41
    I was an Alex girl.
  • 5:41 - 5:44
    I feel like, depending on
    who your favorite spy was
  • 5:44 - 5:46
it was like a personality test.
  • 5:46 - 5:48
If it was like Clover, Sam, or Alex.
  • 5:48 - 5:51
So let me know which spy
  • 5:51 - 5:52
from Totally Spies was your favorite
  • 5:52 - 5:56
but I will just be watching
    this episode for the morning.
  • 5:56 - 5:57
    I feel so relaxed.
  • 5:57 - 5:58
I feel like it's the weekend
  • 5:58 - 6:01
because I woke up later and
    now I'm watching cartoons.
  • 6:01 - 6:03
    It's kind of great.
  • 6:03 - 6:04
You know, the beginning of the morning
  • 6:04 - 6:06
    I'm still kind of getting
    in the groove of things.
  • 6:06 - 6:08
For me, even if I'm not going anywhere
  • 6:08 - 6:11
I need to like change out of my pajamas.
  • 6:11 - 6:13
    I need to get ready.
  • 6:14 - 6:17
Even doing like a tiny bit
of makeup or like, you know
  • 6:17 - 6:18
even if you're not going out
  • 6:18 - 6:21
it really helps me like separate my day.
  • 6:21 - 6:23
I know a lot of people are
    working at home from now.
  • 6:23 - 6:24
    - [Natalie] Me too.
  • 6:24 - 6:26
    It gets you ready.
  • 6:27 - 6:28
    - Because I, at the beginning, you know,
  • 6:28 - 6:29
when you work from home, you're like,
  • 6:29 - 6:30
    "Oh, this is a blessing.
  • 6:30 - 6:31
I can stay in my pajamas.
  • 6:31 - 6:32
    I can work."
  • 6:32 - 6:34
    - [Natalie] As I'm in my PJs.
  • 6:34 - 6:35
    These are my fake PJs.
  • 6:35 - 6:37
    - Those are your fancy PJs.
  • 6:37 - 6:38
    - [Natalie] Exactly.
  • 6:41 - 6:41
    - But yeah.
  • 6:41 - 6:42
    It really, really helps
  • 6:42 - 6:45
    because it's almost like
    you're separating your day.
  • 6:45 - 6:46
You know, this is work mode.
  • 6:46 - 6:48
    You're like finally in
    the office, you know,
  • 6:48 - 6:50
    in your look.
  • 6:50 - 6:51
    So I do that.
  • 6:51 - 6:53
    And then this is also
    when I'll do some like
  • 6:53 - 6:57
    planner bullet journal
stuff to plan for the day.
  • 6:58 - 7:02
    Also, this is around like
    the 9 to 10, 11:00 AM block.
  • 7:02 - 7:05
    This is when I'll start
    doing any like computer work.
  • 7:05 - 7:09
    So emails, you know the
    deal, meetings, laptop work.
  • 7:09 - 7:12
So that's kind of like my
    morning block is really
  • 7:12 - 7:15
    just the bullet journal, computer.
  • 7:15 - 7:17
    - That's a good way to start.
  • 7:17 - 7:18
    Actually ready for my day.
  • 7:18 - 7:19
    Dah, dah, dah, dah!
  • 7:19 - 7:20
    Of course.
  • 7:20 - 7:22
    Got to keep the slippers,
    we're working from home
  • 7:22 - 7:24
    did a little light makeup.
  • 7:24 - 7:25
    Let's do it.
  • 7:25 - 7:27
So for me, usually after breakfast
  • 7:27 - 7:29
I hop in the shower, get ready for my day.
  • 7:29 - 7:32
    Same like you, but usually
    it's more makeup-less.
  • 7:32 - 7:35
    I, you know, I don't know
  • 7:35 - 7:37
    I've just been really
    enjoying a fresh face.
  • 7:37 - 7:40
    - I'm probably not going to
    wear too much makeup today
  • 7:40 - 7:44
    because Natalie said she
likes to let her skin breathe.
  • 7:44 - 7:46
A lot of you guys ask me
    about my skincare routine.
  • 7:46 - 7:48
So let me know if you want
me to show you guys that
  • 7:48 - 7:52
    in a separate video,
    because your girl has been
  • 7:52 - 7:56
    through the ringer with skincare.
  • 7:56 - 7:58
    I have even done Accutane.
  • 7:58 - 8:02
So trust me when I tell
    you I know the struggle,
  • 8:03 - 8:05
but I feel like I finally gotten it down.
  • 8:05 - 8:08
    My skin has been looking
    a lot better lately.
  • 8:08 - 8:10
    Don't forget your sunscreen, everyone.
  • 8:10 - 8:15
Even if it's not sunny outside,
    like today, it's so cloudy.
  • 8:15 - 8:16
    Okay.
  • 8:16 - 8:19
So I'm on my walk, granted,
    it's probably not as nice
  • 8:19 - 8:21
of a walk as Natalie because
    I live downtown Toronto
  • 8:21 - 8:26
so you kind of just always hear
    this constant hum of traffic
  • 8:26 - 8:27
    and construction.
  • 8:27 - 8:28
This kind of nice and different for me.
  • 8:28 - 8:31
Usually I go for my walks in the afternoon
  • 8:31 - 8:32
    or the evening after work.
  • 8:32 - 8:37
So it's nice to start off my
day with some nice fresh air.
  • 8:38 - 8:39
    There's people around though
  • 8:39 - 8:43
    so I still get embarrassed
    vlogging in public.
  • 8:43 - 8:45
After eight years of being on YouTube.
  • 8:45 - 8:47
Look at how pretty these trees are.
  • 8:49 - 8:51
    (chill music)
  • 8:56 - 9:00
Around like 12:00 PM, I usually eat lunch.
  • 9:00 - 9:02
And I'm the worst with cooking.
  • 9:02 - 9:05
You'll discover this throughout the day
  • 9:05 - 9:08
    but lunch I'm usually I'll
    either Uber Eats something
  • 9:08 - 9:10
    or it'll just be leftovers.
  • 9:10 - 9:12
    - My pizza burnt.
  • 9:12 - 9:15
Maybe I should have ordered food, Amanda,
  • 9:15 - 9:17
    I didn't follow your advice.
  • 9:17 - 9:18
    Ah, what the hell!
  • 9:18 - 9:20
It's still good, I ain't gonna waste this.
  • 9:25 - 9:27
    (knocking)
  • 9:27 - 9:30
    (crunching)
  • 9:30 - 9:32
    That's good, it's good.
  • 9:37 - 9:38
    - I just got a call from my parents.
  • 9:38 - 9:40
    So both of us,
  • 9:40 - 9:43
my parents postal code and my
    postal codes, we're currently
  • 9:43 - 9:48
    in hot spot areas in
    Toronto for the virus.
  • 9:48 - 9:52
    So our government has been
    very weird with vaccines.
  • 9:52 - 9:55
    It's been slow, but
    because we're in hotspots
  • 9:55 - 9:57
    they've been prioritizing those hotspots
  • 9:57 - 9:59
    for vaccine clinics.
  • 9:59 - 10:01
And apparently I might be able
    to get a vaccination today.
  • 10:01 - 10:03
    I'm so excited.
  • 10:03 - 10:06
Oh my God, it feels so weird.
  • 10:06 - 10:08
I know how it feels to
    see all of these people
  • 10:08 - 10:12
    on social media get their
    vaccinations and not have it.
  • 10:12 - 10:15
So if you're also waiting for a vaccine
  • 10:15 - 10:16
my heart goes out to you.
  • 10:16 - 10:18
It's definitely rough around the world
  • 10:18 - 10:22
but if I get mine today,
    I think I might cry
  • 10:22 - 10:24
    because that would just
    be, I dunno, it's been a
  • 10:24 - 10:26
    it's been a long year
    for everyone, you know?
  • 10:26 - 10:27
    So wow.
  • 10:27 - 10:29
    This video took a turn.
  • 10:29 - 10:30
    Guys I got it!
  • 10:31 - 10:34
    Success. It's just a
    little bit of reassurance.
  • 10:34 - 10:36
I know it's only one dose
  • 10:36 - 10:39
and also we still need to be careful
  • 10:39 - 10:42
    for the sake of others,
    but just having it.
  • 10:42 - 10:44
    It feels very nice.
  • 10:44 - 10:45
    Very nice.
  • 10:46 - 10:48
I don't even know what to do now.
  • 10:48 - 10:49
    Well...
  • 10:51 - 10:54
Yeah, so I think the last
time I spoke to you guys
  • 10:54 - 10:57
    I was doing the morning
    portion of Natalie's routine.
  • 10:57 - 11:00
A lot happened after that a lot, a lot.
  • 11:00 - 11:04
So I got my vaccine, which is great.
  • 11:04 - 11:05
    Pfizer, amazing.
  • 11:05 - 11:07
    (clapping)
  • 11:07 - 11:08
    We love to see it.
  • 11:08 - 11:09
    And for dinner that day
  • 11:09 - 11:11
me and my family were like, you know what?
  • 11:11 - 11:13
    This is cause for celebration,
  • 11:13 - 11:14
we got fried chicken for dinner.
  • 11:14 - 11:17
I eat my first bite of fried chicken.
  • 11:17 - 11:19
And immediately I knew something was off.
  • 11:19 - 11:19
    If you guys don't know,
  • 11:19 - 11:22
    I'm allergic to peanuts,
    nuts, fish and shellfish.
  • 11:22 - 11:26
    I felt started to feel
    very nauseous, which is one
  • 11:26 - 11:29
    of the earlier signs that
    I know when I'm having
  • 11:29 - 11:30
    like an allergic reaction.
  • 11:30 - 11:33
I'm deathly allergic, by the way, guys.
  • 11:33 - 11:35
Not just like, "Oh, I'm intolerant."
  • 11:35 - 11:36
No, like I have an EpiPen.
  • 11:36 - 11:37
As soon as I ate that,
  • 11:37 - 11:39
I was like, oh, this is not
good, but I could still breathe.
  • 11:39 - 11:42
    Everything was okay and weird.
  • 11:42 - 11:43
    I took some Benadryl hoping
  • 11:43 - 11:47
    that it would be okay,
    obviously was not okay.
  • 11:47 - 11:49
    Eventually we had to
    use my EpiPen, which is
  • 11:49 - 11:52
    like this needle that you
have to jab in your thigh
  • 11:52 - 11:56
in order for it to like open
    up your airways and everything.
  • 11:56 - 11:57
    The ambulance came.
  • 11:57 - 12:00
I was taken off to the emergency room.
  • 12:00 - 12:03
    Luckily everyone at
    the hospital was great.
  • 12:03 - 12:05
Amazing, got put on an IV
  • 12:05 - 12:08
    with Benadryl and like
    fluids and everything.
  • 12:08 - 12:09
And I ended up being okay.
  • 12:09 - 12:11
I was at the hospital for like,
  • 12:11 - 12:14
I want to say four, four hours, ish.
  • 12:14 - 12:16
I go home at 1:00 AM, I think.
  • 12:16 - 12:18
This is what happens when you try to
  • 12:18 - 12:19
    follow someone else's routine,
  • 12:19 - 12:22
you end up in the hospital,
    no, I'm just joking.
  • 12:22 - 12:24
But I guess it does go to show you
  • 12:24 - 12:27
that sometimes you can't plan everything
  • 12:27 - 12:28
no matter how much you try.
  • 12:28 - 12:32
    I literally had a step-by-step
routine that I had to follow
  • 12:32 - 12:35
but life, life threw me something else.
  • 12:35 - 12:36
Shout out to the hospital staff,
  • 12:36 - 12:38
honestly all healthcare workers right now,
  • 12:38 - 12:43
I saw firsthand how busy the ER was.
  • 12:43 - 12:45
    Obviously with everything going on.
  • 12:45 - 12:47
And I was like, "Wow, this is insane."
  • 12:47 - 12:49
    Only I would get taken
  • 12:49 - 12:52
    to the emergency room
    because of fried chicken.
  • 12:52 - 12:55
Like it's not even a cool story, man.
  • 12:57 - 12:58
    You guys might be confused
  • 12:58 - 13:01
    like why fried chicken
    gave me like a reaction.
  • 13:01 - 13:04
I think it was fried in peanut oil.
  • 13:04 - 13:05
    And that's also why
    it's really hard living
  • 13:05 - 13:09
    with food allergies
    because sometimes it's not
  • 13:09 - 13:14
    extremely evident that a
particular food has that in it.
  • 13:14 - 13:15
    Like peanut oil is hidden.
  • 13:15 - 13:17
You would not be able to see peanut oil.
  • 13:17 - 13:19
You wouldn't be able to tell.
  • 13:19 - 13:21
    You're just always kind
    of constantly afraid
  • 13:21 - 13:26
of dying whenever you eat food.
  • 13:26 - 13:28
It's tough, but what are you going to do?
  • 13:28 - 13:29
Even though things didn't go to plan
  • 13:29 - 13:32
the first time I tried the routine,
  • 13:32 - 13:34
I still gotta finish what I started.
  • 13:34 - 13:37
So I'm going to do the rest
    of Natalie's routine today.
  • 13:39 - 13:41
And hopefully it does not result
  • 13:41 - 13:43
in any more trips to the hospital.
  • 13:43 - 13:44
The last time I checked in
  • 13:44 - 13:46
    it was supposed to be
    lunchtime for Natalie.
  • 13:46 - 13:49
    Natalie said she likes to
take an hour to eat lunch
  • 13:49 - 13:51
    and watch Shark Tank.
  • 13:51 - 13:53
So I'll probably just watch something
  • 13:53 - 13:57
    and then get on with
    the rest of my workday
  • 13:57 - 13:59
which is the main chunk of stuff.
  • 13:59 - 14:01
    (chill music)
  • 14:18 - 14:19
    - We cut off work at five.
  • 14:19 - 14:22
    So no emails, no nothing,
    no one's bothering me.
  • 14:22 - 14:25
You know, you can't be a robot
like all day kind of working.
  • 14:25 - 14:27
And so that's been the biggest
    takeaway that we found.
  • 14:27 - 14:30
    - I had to set an alarm
for myself for 5:00 PM so
  • 14:30 - 14:32
that I could remember to stop working.
  • 14:32 - 14:36
    And now I'm going to
    disconnect, no more emails,
  • 14:36 - 14:38
no more work, no more filming.
  • 14:38 - 14:39
And also disconnect from social media,
  • 14:39 - 14:42
    which I've been meaning
to do a lot more recently.
  • 14:42 - 14:44
One of my goals this year was
    to have a better relationship
  • 14:44 - 14:47
with social media in terms of work.
  • 14:47 - 14:49
And also like my personal life.
  • 14:49 - 14:50
    It's something that
    I've been talking a lot
  • 14:50 - 14:52
    with my therapist about
  • 14:52 - 14:55
so I have been wanting to
    do more like disconnect days
  • 14:55 - 14:57
    from social media.
  • 14:57 - 15:00
So I guess this is a good
    way to start just like
  • 15:00 - 15:04
for an hour, 5:00 PM to
    6:00 PM after work, unplug.
  • 15:04 - 15:09
So that is what I am
    going to do before dinner.
  • 15:09 - 15:12
    (chill music)
  • 15:30 - 15:32
And so this is my dinner for today.
  • 15:32 - 15:35
    Just a salad with vegetables,
  • 15:35 - 15:37
    some chicken, luckily not fried.
  • 15:37 - 15:41
And I think there's some rice
noodles at the bottom as well.
  • 15:41 - 15:43
    This freshly baked focaccia bread.
  • 15:43 - 15:45
    So, yum!
  • 16:03 - 16:05
    I'm like iron deficient.
  • 16:05 - 16:07
    I always have to make
    sure there's like iron
  • 16:07 - 16:09
like red meat, spinach and stuff.
  • 16:09 - 16:10
    Cause I found
  • 16:10 - 16:11
that it actually affects my productivity.
  • 16:11 - 16:13
    - Work is officially done.
  • 16:13 - 16:16
Ooh, Jupiter's getting ready to party.
  • 16:16 - 16:20
    I love that Amanda
    prioritizes her time off.
  • 16:20 - 16:21
    Ever since we started
    doing that, hands down,
  • 16:21 - 16:23
    it's been a game changer, hasn't it?
  • 16:23 - 16:26
    Like time off after work,
like you just need that time.
  • 16:26 - 16:28
I'm literally the worst vlogger, blogger
  • 16:28 - 16:29
because I forgot to show you what I ate
  • 16:29 - 16:32
but I had this, delicious full of iron.
  • 16:32 - 16:33
    Just like you like it.
  • 16:33 - 16:37
Amanda delicious bowl full of iron, rice.
  • 16:37 - 16:40
A little bit chicken, a little bit love.
  • 16:40 - 16:41
    It was delicious.
  • 16:41 - 16:42
    I'm feeling good.
  • 16:42 - 16:44
    Just casually cleaning my kitchen.
  • 16:44 - 16:46
    (chill music)
  • 17:17 - 17:20
    - Well, so since I'm
    disconnecting from social media
  • 17:20 - 17:23
I wanted to show you guys
my new toy that is not
  • 17:23 - 17:25
    social media related.
  • 17:25 - 17:27
    Guys, I got a Tamagotchi!
  • 17:30 - 17:32
    Does anyone else remember Tamagotchis?
  • 17:32 - 17:33
I used to have two of these.
  • 17:33 - 17:35
They were my favorite toy growing up.
  • 17:35 - 17:37
If you don't know what a Tamagotchi is
  • 17:37 - 17:38
then you're probably way younger than me
  • 17:38 - 17:40
or maybe they didn't have them worldwide
  • 17:40 - 17:43
    but they're just these
    like little toy pets
  • 17:43 - 17:45
    that you feed and there's
    different buttons.
  • 17:45 - 17:46
    You play games.
  • 17:46 - 17:48
    You like literally wash it,
  • 17:48 - 17:53
like actual pet and it grows
up and evolves and all of that.
  • 17:54 - 17:56
    I low key forgot how
    temperamental these things are.
  • 17:56 - 17:59
like mine actually just died again
  • 17:59 - 18:01
which is why it's in an egg.
  • 18:01 - 18:02
    It hasn't hatched yet.
  • 18:02 - 18:04
    It's like the second time
    that my Tamagotchi had died
  • 18:04 - 18:07
    and I swear I'm not a
    bad Tamagotchi mother.
  • 18:07 - 18:08
I feel like I'm pretty attentive.
  • 18:08 - 18:12
Okay, that was a bad example.
  • 18:12 - 18:13
I'm always there whenever it beeps at me
  • 18:13 - 18:16
and needs food, I always feed it.
  • 18:16 - 18:19
Maybe this means that I'm not
ready yet to have a puppy.
  • 18:19 - 18:22
    If I've killed my Tamagotchi
    twice that says something
  • 18:22 - 18:25
    about my maternal instincts, right?
  • 18:25 - 18:27
    Who needs social media?
  • 18:27 - 18:28
    I have my Tamagotchi.
  • 18:28 - 18:29
It's on a key chain though.
  • 18:29 - 18:31
Like, should I flex this on my purse?
  • 18:31 - 18:34
    Whenever I go out.
  • 18:34 - 18:35
    (beeping)
  • 18:35 - 18:38
    It just started beeping.
  • 18:38 - 18:38
    Look at him.
  • 18:38 - 18:40
    He just got birthed again.
  • 18:40 - 18:43
Welcome back for the third time.
  • 18:44 - 18:46
    My little friend.
  • 18:46 - 18:48
    - That time of the night where we relax,
  • 18:48 - 18:51
    watch some TV, check out
    Dennis what he's wearing.
  • 18:51 - 18:53
    Pretty fun.
  • 18:53 - 18:55
We usually watch TikToks at this time
  • 18:55 - 18:58
and actually I have to do what Amanda does
  • 18:58 - 18:59
    which is watch TV.
  • 18:59 - 19:00
    And we were going to
    watch some rock climbing.
  • 19:00 - 19:02
    So toodaloo.
  • 19:02 - 19:04
    It's officially the end of
    the day, about to recap.
  • 19:04 - 19:08
    Honestly, today was very
    productive, but I will say
  • 19:08 - 19:11
if you think I woke up at
    6:30, I played you because-
  • 19:11 - 19:12
    Oh, what?
  • 19:12 - 19:14
    (Natalie laughing)
  • 19:14 - 19:15
So this is what happened, guys,
  • 19:15 - 19:17
let me tell you now that
you made it to the end.
  • 19:17 - 19:19
    - Oh, I woke look at me waking up at 6:30.
  • 19:19 - 19:23
And I'm going to bed right away.
  • 19:23 - 19:24
    - I woke up at 6:30,
  • 19:24 - 19:26
    and then I literally
    did my little routine.
  • 19:26 - 19:29
    And then I came back
    upstairs, saw him sleeping
  • 19:29 - 19:32
    and got jealous and fricken
    fell asleep till 10.
  • 19:32 - 19:37
So what I'll say is, you know,
    do you boo, because Amanda
  • 19:37 - 19:38
I try to do you, but I couldn't.
  • 19:38 - 19:39
    I just couldn't!
  • 19:39 - 19:42
6:30 just ain't my jam, okay!
  • 19:42 - 19:44
    - Journal a little bit
at the end of the day
  • 19:44 - 19:47
like just kind of recap the day.
  • 19:47 - 19:50
And also it helps me to
    prepare for the next day,
  • 19:50 - 19:52
what I need to do for tomorrow.
  • 19:52 - 19:54
    Not like intense working, but
    more so just like generally
  • 19:54 - 19:57
like what I want to happen tomorrow.
  • 19:57 - 20:00
    - For me, I feel like
    I've become an adult now.
  • 20:00 - 20:03
    Like I just like watching
    TV, like what happened?
  • 20:03 - 20:04
You know, I used to like
  • 20:04 - 20:06
just be on YouTube and like TikTok.
  • 20:06 - 20:08
    I actually try not to
    go on TikTok at night,
  • 20:08 - 20:10
    but sometimes before bed
  • 20:10 - 20:12
Dennis and I share like the
    funniest TikToks of the day
  • 20:12 - 20:14
and that's kind of how we end our night.
  • 20:14 - 20:16
Yeah. And we always watch a show together.
  • 20:16 - 20:18
    (chill music)
  • 20:50 - 20:51
    - All right.
  • 20:51 - 20:53
So that was our productive daily routines.
  • 20:53 - 20:57
It was fun switching or I
hope it will be fun switching.
  • 20:57 - 20:59
    - Yeah! Freaky Fridaying it up.
  • 20:59 - 21:00
    - Yeah, Freaky Friday.
  • 21:00 - 21:00
    We can switch bodies.
  • 21:00 - 21:02
    We can switch back now.
  • 21:04 - 21:06
    - Wait, let me get a sip of boba.
  • 21:08 - 21:10
    - Thank you, Natalie,
    for being on my channel.
  • 21:10 - 21:12
    - Thank you! This was so fun.
  • 21:12 - 21:13
    - This was fun.
  • 21:13 - 21:15
And if you guys want to
see the collab that we did
  • 21:15 - 21:16
on Natalie's channel, go check it out.
  • 21:16 - 21:18
I'll be sure to link it above as well
  • 21:18 - 21:20
as in the description box down below.
  • 21:20 - 21:21
    Follow her, subscribe to her.
  • 21:21 - 21:23
    She's awesome.
  • 21:23 - 21:26
    And yeah, I'll talk to
you guys in the next one.
  • 21:26 - 21:29
    Keep doodling!
  • 21:29 - 21:32
    - Oh wait, let's do that again.
  • 21:32 - 21:34
    - Keep doodling!
  • 21:34 - 21:35
    Bye!
  • 21:35 - 21:37
    Good enough, good enough.
  • 21:37 - 21:39
    - You need to leave these bloopers in.
  • 21:39 - 21:41
    (chill music)
