It's like we four all individually did collaborations [with Ground Y].

The concept was to turn our identities into t-shirts.

We each came up with something.

-I had no idea about all this.

Yeah, we'll absorb it all at once.

I often write lyrics,

and what I value even more than being in a band

is being a woman.

Gender is a really hot topic right now.

There are many calls for equality regardless of gender,

and I think that having a gender that suits you is very important.

I wanted to make that into a design.

The design features a feminine figure that's been turned into a piece of art,

and the words "Your life is yours" that I handwrote.

That's the message of the t-shirt.

-You'll be wearing that today?
-That's right.

Being a woman...

-Being yourself is very important.
-That's a great message.

-So, the color you have on your nails is also feminine.
-That's right.

I thought it'd go well.

You put it around the face as well.

-I see～
-Yes. That's why we each did a design.

-Eh, did you come up with the designs yourselves?
-Yes, we did.

-That's awesome.
-That's great.

-It's because you think about a lot of things when writing lyrics.
-Yeah, I do.

I really want it to be a given for everyone to mutually acknowledge how each person likes to live their lives.

We'll put on something that's like body oil.

-It's good for the hair.
-I'm completely fine with anything.

-What about your bangs?
-I want them to look wet too.

Enough so that they look piecey in photos.

I think it'll look cool.

Do you have plans to visit your hometown?

I had been in Osaka until yesterday.

-Ah, is that so?
-Yeah, my dad and little brother live in Osaka,

-and I went to see them for the first time in forever.
-I'm sure that cheered you up.
-It did.

I took a stroll through the country. Nature really is great.

-It's quite healing, isn't it?
-It definitely is.

I love both Tokyo and my hometown.

Your wet-looking hair is quite dry.

I showed what this shoot today was like.

This is a collaboration between Ground Y and SCANDAL,

and we came up with designs containing our identities and messages we want to convey right now.

T-shirts containing each of our themes were made.

They're really cool.

and the message I included is that I want everyone to live their lives the way they want to.
