post-grad life: job hunt, interviews, driving lessons, BTS concert tickets

Good morning!

I feel like every video, I have a different hair color.

It's because I want to try out as many colors as possible

before my roots grow out too much.

So, I've been dyeing my hair pretty frequently.

So far, my hair is holding up well.

This color is so pretty. It's like a combination of purple and blue.

I am obsessed.

Quick life update: I've started applying for clinical jobs in LA.

I was originally going to take this year off because college burnout was REAL

but I felt like I was falling into a productivity rut (I’m a workaholic)

& have had little motivation these past few weeks.

I'm looking into part-time jobs I can do alongside YouTube!

Hopefully, I can get a job and move into my own apartment :)

I'm actually in the process of trying to get my driver's license.

I have my first driving lesson in about 5 minutes.

I'm actually really nervous cuz it's been 3 years since

my last driving test, and I haven't driven after that.

Came to get a TB test after my driving lesson! (needed for volunteer work)

I didn't know I was bleeding and got blood on my shirt T-T

and then, I'm going to drive to the mall.

This weekend, I'm meeting up with a friend for her birthday,

so I'm going to get her a birthday present.

I'm definitely not comfortable driving on the streets

when there are a lot of cars around.

Especially, when I'm trying to change lanes,

I get really nervous.

So, in the morning, they ask you what you're grateful for,

what would make today great, and daily affirmations.

And then, for the nighttime, you write the highlights of your day

and what I learned today.

I always forget to do the nighttime portion.

I am pretty good at doing the morning part

because when I sit down, it's the first thing I see on my desk.

I don't know if I've ever mentioned this in a video,

but I used to collect postcards.

If I visited a special place,

I would purchase a postcard as a souvenir.

I think it's one of the easier souvenirs to collect

since basically every tourist attraction has postcards.

So yeah, I have some from the Getty Museum in LA.

This was only $6.95? That's a steal.

It has a lot of artwork. Really pretty.

I have some from Boston.

They're very glittery.

I always forget to buy postcards whenever I visit some place,

so I kinda stopped collecting them at one point.

But, I'm going to start collecting them again.

They were doing an event where they were giving out either

postcards or stickers if you used a certain amount of money.

I got this from the California Science Center.

I collect postcards, but I also use these.

I'm going to have to use one right now cuz I'm

going to be writing a letter for my friend's birthday.

That's why I took them out.

I actually am totally fine with using my postcards even though

they're supposed to be souvenirs, and I'm supposed to keep them.

I'm going to be using one of the BT21 ones

cuz the other ones are kinda weird to use.

I'm going to be dyeing my hair using this hair dye.

This is the Loreal 7UA Ultra Ash Dark Blonde.

And it also comes with anti-brass purple conditioner (+shampoo).

The color came out to be a little lighter than I wanted :'(

I have an interview today.

This is my second job interview.

I'm not too nervous for this one because

[The hiring manager] said it's only going to be 15 minutes,

so I'm assuming it's just going to be handing in resume...

It's just going to be really quick.
(It turned out to be ~30 minutes)

I also have an interview tomorrow,

which I need to prepare for today.

Just enough to not embarrass myself.

the mobile app has a lot of deals where they give out free food,

so today, I got a free cookie.

I typically don't eat McDonalds too often, but

I definitely go through phases where I'll eat it

multiple times a week, and then I'll just take a break from it for a few months.

And then, I'll go back to it.

That's me with every fast-food restaurant, though.

I go through phases.

Driving lesson #3

I had a driving lesson this morning, and

now, I have my third job interview.

I'm so nervous.

This one is over zoom, and

I have a feeling it's going to be a lot more difficult than my past interviews

because it's an hour long.

And I also don't know if it's a group interview?

Or if it's just one-on-one.

I don't think it's one-on-one, which is why

this interview is a little bit more nerve-wracking.

I think it's going to have a number of faculty members on the call.

Right after this interview, I have to book tickets to the BTS concert.

This is day 2 of the pre-sale that they're doing.

*nervous*

Okay, I have 2000+ people ahead of me.

It was more like 20k+ people...

It's been stuck at that exact position for the past 20 minutes.

I could probably go out, grab something to eat,

come back, and still be in the queue.

This might take a few hours.
