Hi Yasushi
Yes, you are right. Sometimes, there are official videos with lyrics or published scripts available out there. The question is if we transcribe what the speaker actually says (or sings, or recites, or fails to say, in case of a subject needed to complete the sentence, for example) or we just copy the official text published elsewhere.
Yasushi Aoki
Hi Denise,
I'm not saying you should copy the official lyrics. Singers may improvise. But in this case, (at least it seems to me that) she was singing as the lyrics without modification.
Denise RQ
Hi Yasushi,
If you wish, we can ask for a peer LC third opinion; I have listened to the song again and I hear the same lyrics I approved (especially clear to me are lines 21, 23, 34, 42 & 45).
As for the debatable "Turning round"/ "Turning 'round"/"Turning around," for translation purposes I have opted for 'turning around' (preferred American English spelling).
Thank you
