-
Many of us have spent our lives
-
searching for
-
material comforts.
-
And affective comforts.
-
And many of us do have a lot of...
-
comforts, but we are not happy.
-
You have enough,
you may have enough money.
-
You may have enough material comforts.
-
And we may someone who loves us,
-
who understands us.
-
And yet we are not happy,
-
because we don't have mindfulness.
-
Those of us
who do not have a lot of money.
-
But because we practice mindfulness,
-
that is why we treasure our time.
-
And our time is very precious.
-
When you wake up in the morning.
-
The first thing we do is to...
-
breathe
-
and to be aware
that you have 24 hours to live.
-
Waking up this morning, I smile.
-
I have 24 hours to live.
-
You want to live the 24 hours
-
that are given to you in such a way
that peace, joy, happiness can be possible.
-
You are not going to waste
-
your 24 hours
-
because 24 hours are a gift of life.
-
So the practice of mindfulness is to be aware
of everything you do in your daily life.
-
So that you can do it mindfully,
-
and you can enjoy
every moment of your daily life.
-
That is the practice of mindfulness,
to live more deeply,
-
every moment,
-
so that you will not waste your time
and waste your life.
-
Maybe we have wasted many days
in anger and fear, jealousy.
-
We have not made the best of the time
given to us to live.
-
Is it possible to live in such a way
that we have more peace,
-
more joy, more happiness,
-
that help us to help other people
to suffer less?
-
And the answer is yes,
if you take up mindfulness and practice,
-
and then you enjoy more the time given...
-
to you to live,
-
and with more joy and peace and happiness
-
you can certainly help other people
to suffer less and have more joy.
-
Time
-
is no longer money.
-
Time is peace.
-
Time is life.
-
There are people who are
victims of their success.
-
Even if they have success,
they can be victims of that success.
-
But no one is the victim
of his or her happiness.
