Three... two... one [Splash]
[Voiceover] I’ve been absent for a while.

That time has been spent enjoying my last
days of school, and being a bit less present

online in order to spend more time in the
real world with my friends.

Look, you can see Josie [Screams]
Fucking videoing again!

[Voiceover, 'Pirates of the Caribbean' theme
plays] I’ve been sufficiently distracted

at school, one day dressing up as pirates,
and also we had ‘muck up day’, where we

had a massive water fight in the school car
park. I found I was truly having fun for the

first time in a while. We also had a day dressed
in our old uniform from lower school, as the

sixth formers don’t have to wear uniform.
We regressed to our childish ways and it made

me miss the days where I was younger and had
more time to be silly.

Even on our last day, there was this childish
atmosphere where just for a bit, we all forgot

that ‘no more school’ also meant no more
structure. No more help. No more being a kid.

[Laughter]
[Voiceover] After school officially ended

things were quiet, apart from a few exams.
I spent time with family and also spent time

doing nothing, pretending to ignore my impending
need to move on with my life and start looking

after myself. Then I got to distract myself
some more with the end of school boat party,

which was… err, well… [Chelsea Dagger
by The Fratellis plays]

The thing is, I’m trying to think of sentimental
things to say about leaving school, but it

really feels fake because I’m not actually
that emotional about it. Don’t get me wrong,

I’m going to really miss my friends, and
my days there. I’m terrified of the prospect

of adulthood. But I’ll still see my friends.
And to tell the truth… I think I’m ready to move on.

I just finished editing, but I wanted to add

this on quickly to say that I have started
