and today I want to talk about
Zamenhof Day

It's a very important date,
which happens every year, of course

and it's important for many reasons

but, I actually want to talk about
the last Zamenhof Day

from last year

because I launched with the
help of Chuck Smith

and hashtag campaign on
Twitter, Facebook and YouTube

to just show Esperanto
to non-Esperanto speakers

So, the hashtag campaign was just
called #EsperantoLives

and this year I want to do it again

So, here's the idea for those
who've never heard about it

You just need to upload a film
on the 15th of December

to YouTube or Facebook or Twitter ...
a film of you

and in the film, you need to speak
in your native language

Don't speak in Esperanto,
that would be pointless

You'll see why

So, just upload a film
in which you speak about three things

First, you need to present yourself

Second, you need to present
what Esperanto is

and third, you need to present
why you like it

So, you could say that you
like it

because of the literature, films
the strong community spirit

I don't know ...

Of course it's up to you

So, on the 15th of December, upload a film
to YouTube, Facebook or Twitter or all

and just speak about
those things I've mentioned

and it must have the title
#EsperantoLives

the hashtag title and you
need to write the hashtag

in fact, in the description
of the film as well

So, it needs to appear everywhere

and then of course share that film
with all your friends

Perhaps, just upload it to your
Facebook pages, walls ... it doesn't matter

and hopefully, if enough Esperanto speakers
upload films at the same time as you

on the 15th of December, the hashtag
will rise in the popular hashtag lists

on Twitter and Facebook

and then a lot more people will see
it during that day

and hopefully watch your film

and they'll later decide
to learn Esperanto

Upload a film in which you say a little
about you and Esperanto

and what you like about it

and then ensure it has the title,
the hashtag title #EsperantoLives

and then hopefully many others
will watch it

uploaded at the same time

and it went viral in the Esperanto
community

and I know a lot of people asked me

what Esperanto is when they
saw my film

I think it's a great idea
