Our Baby Is PROOF God Answers PRAYERS!!!

On one fateful day in August 2022,
I just came home and my wife told me,

‘Congratulations - you are going to be a dad!’

I said, ‘What do you mean?’

My name is Kenneth. Sitting beside
me is my lovely wife Evetha.

And this one is our
beautiful daughter Krista.

Originally we are from Tanzania but currently we are residing in the USA.

So, our testimony is about how God gave us the fruit of the womb

which, as a couple, we searched
for more than three years.

It all started when we got married in December 2019.

When we got married, we were really eager to have a child as soon as possible.

But as the days and months progressed,
I noticed that my wife was not getting pregnant.

We started noticing things that were not initially there or my wife never experienced

when she was single and also I never experienced when I was single.

My wife started experiencing irregular menstrual cycles.

It reached a point where, for 2 to 3 months, she would not see her menstrual cycle.

We started really getting frustrated.
We thought it was a medical issue

and therefore we decided to consult doctors.

Along with her irregular menstrual cycle, she also had yeast infections

which she never experienced before,
so we were really troubled.

We started praying, but at that point we concluded that it was a medical problem,

not a spiritual problem.

So, we consulted doctors here in USA.

They did all the tests and then they said there was nothing they could do.

They just gave us medications and she just continued taking those medications,

believing that it would solve the issue and maybe soon we would have our baby.

But it didn't go that way, so we became increasingly frustrated because

that issue of looking for a child really took centre stage in our lives.

We didn’t really focus much on prayer;
our focus was so much on it.

Even me - I remember there were
times we couldn't sleep.

My wife would keep on crying
in agony the whole night.

I became so stressed and eventually,
I developed this body weakness,

that came exactly at the point when we thought, if we met as husband and wife,

my wife would conceive.

I became chronically weak at
that particular moment.

Plus, with what my wife was passing through,

at times, we couldn’t even meet as husband and wife.

Soon after that, I'd become very strong
as if nothing had happened.

With those kinds of symptoms, we realised that it was more of a spiritual problem,

rather than a medical problem.
So we started praying about it.

We never fasted before as husband
and wife, but this situation

prompted us to fast together
and pray together even more.

After fasting in August 2021, in September, my wife actually conceived.

We were so happy about it and we kept praising God, but our joy was cut short,

because after just 4 or 5 weeks,
my wife had a miscarriage.

It was an unbearable moment.

Because it was something that we had been praying for over a year and a half.

We didn't even have enough
strength again to pray.

We said to ourselves - what is happening?

We felt like God had answered our
prayers but now this had happened.

After she had the miscarriage,
she was admitted and then we said,

‘Let’s make sure the doctors take all the tests to understand the cause of the miscarriage.’

But to our surprise, the doctor came
out and said,

‘There is no indication of what might have caused the miscarriage.

Medically, your wife seems okay;
her hormone levels are okay.’

After taking blood tests, they said everything was fine.

So, we went back home really sad,
contemplating our next steps.

But after a while we kept on encouraging ourselves because we said life has to move on.

We started to slowly improve our prayer life, asking God for mercy and forgiveness,

and asking Him to deliver us from
whatever we were passing through.

Because at that point, we were 100 percent sure that this was a spiritual case and not medical.

Only God could solve the problem.

In January 2022, just at the inception
of God’s Heart TV -

we learned about God’s Heart TV
through watching YouTube,

and we said this may be an opportunity for us to request for prayer.

So we sent a prayer request
to God’s Heart TV.

In February 2022, God’s Heart TV
replied to us saying that

we were invited for a WhatsApp call
with Brother Chris.

At that time, there was no live Interactive Service because it was just the inception

of God’s Heart TV.

We were privileged on that fateful day in February 2022 to receive prayer from Brother Chris.

As Brother Chris was praying, we felt the mighty presence of God during that prayer.

Suddenly my wife started feeling strange
and she started vomiting.

We explained that to Brother Chris and
he told us that this

was a manifestation that God was
working on our case.

It really lifted our faith
- that God cares for us.

He is in the centre of our situation so we should not be discouraged.

Soon after Brother Chris ended the call,
my wife even continued vomiting.

The odour was really bad and it’s not like
she ate anything before that prayer.

After all, we were fasting before that prayer.

So, we were really surprised where all these things were coming from in her body.

But at the end, we gave God the glory because we knew these were

from evil spirits operating within her
and they were coming out.

After the prayer, we were really
expectant of God’s miracle.

We knew the blessing was on the way but because our hearts were desperate,

we thought it was something
that would come soon.

We thought that in a month or two after prayer from Brother Chris, we would see the results

but that was not the case.

So, it started really troubling our hearts
and slowly we found ourselves

going back to a place where we allowed
that situation to overwhelm us.

So, I started experiencing weakness because we allowed that situation to overwhelm us

and forget about God’s promises which
came through the mouth of Brother Chris.

At one point I called my wife and said, ‘This situation is taking the central place in our lives.

God has already promised us that
He is going to give us a child.

So, let’s just forget about it. Let’s not try to be in control of the situation.

Let us just completely surrender
this situation to God.

Let’s live our lives as if this problem does not exist because God is aware of it.’

We ‘missed’ a lot of life because that was
the only thing that we wanted.

The minute we decided that,
God gave us the grace to release it.

My wife became much happier;
I became much happier.

We could talk about and do other things.

One fateful day in August 2022, I came home

and my wife told me, ‘Congratulations -
you are going to be a dad!’

I said, ‘What do you mean?’

My wife was pregnant again and
we were really happy about it.

This time, it did not come out of
the stress we were having.

It came out of the happiness we were having

because we decided to
leave everything for God.

Throughout that pregnancy journey,
there was no indication of a miscarriage.

There was nothing apart from
normal morning sickness.

It went really smoothly until nine months.

There were some complications as the baby did not turn in the right position to come out.

But at the end of the day, she turned.

My wife had a long, painful labour experience, which is common for many women.

And then in April 2023, this beautiful
baby Krista came into our lives.

So, we are overwhelmed with joy and
we give God all the glory and honour.

Up until now, she’s eleven months old,
going to her first birthday

and she’s strong, happy and healthy.

She hasn’t given us any problems -
no major sicknesses.

We keep on enjoying her and thank God
for His blessings in our lives.

In terms of your physicality, you said you were suffering from weakness in your body.

How are you feeling right now?

Now, I’m feeling great!

That prayer we received from Brother Chris manifested physically.

Soon after that, the general body
weakness left me.

And since then, I have never experienced
any form of weaknesses in my life.

My wife can also attest that all the
regular infections she was having -

she doesn’t experience them anymore.

From a medical perspective, we did
all kinds of tests and it was okay.

So you think you are okay but
things were not happening.

It was really bad and stressful and at
the same time unbelievable because

before getting married, I thought I would become pregnant right after marriage.

But it didn’t happen the way we expected.
So, it was really painful and stressful to me.

We feel so happy and good.

Since the time I noticed I was pregnant,

it was like the door opening.
We feel so happy!

We see the world from a different perspective.

So, it has been a very life-changing blessing

and up until now, we really thank God for that.

The main advice I have for others
from this experience is that

as much as we value God’s blessings -
such as the blessing of a child -

we should also value God’s processing.

After getting a child, I later had reflection
on what we went through

and the spiritual journey we
went through to get a child.

So at the end of the day, it was not just the blessing of Krista but us as a couple,

we were also strengthened by that situation.

Initially, we did not pray often
as husband and wife.

It was difficult for us to agree together -
for example, to fast about something.

So, our character in God really grew
and we came to appreciate life.

God used this situation to actually
strengthen our spiritual lives,

individually and as a couple together.

So, for whoever is listening,
as much as you need God’s blessings -

maybe today you have a problem
which you wish God to solve -

you should also value God’s processing.

Because once you value God’s processing,

you will have the grace to wait for God’s timing without so much frustration.

And I remember Brother Chris said
that the blessing we receive

is not an end in itself but a means to an end, which is the salvation of our souls.
