I think the greatest misunderstanding that we have about ourselves and the Earth is that we are separate.

Separate from others.

We separate from Mother Earth.

And with this misunderstanding, it creates many troubles.

The reality is that we're really not separate from Mother Earth.

When we see it that way,

we know we have to take care of Mother Earth,

because taking care of Mother Earth is taking care of ourselves.

And with that understanding,

we know that it's just natural that we take care of Mother Earth because that's taking care of ourselves,

not because we want to protect Mother Earth and seeing it as separate from us.

So in fact, Mother Earth is us.

And if we understand that, I think...

we'll be in a much better situation than we are at the moment.
