How to assign a task

To assign a task to an OTP volunteer, follow the instructions in this video. (ONLY for Language Coordinators)

[How to assign a task]

To assign a task
to a transcriber or translator,

navigate to the Tasks tab
and find the task you wish to assign.

Then click on Assign,

and fill in the translator’s name.

Please be patient

while Amara is searching
for the user in the database.

Then click on Assign to User
and you are done.

If you want to remove
a task from a translator,

click on Reassign

and choose the dashed lines.

That will return the task
to the general pool.

Please assign or remove tasks
only if you have the user’s permission.
