-
0:14 - 0:16Before we jump into the apartment tour,
-
0:16 - 0:19I wanted to talk a little bit about my own financial journey

0:19 - 0:23and how financial literacy has helped me

-
2:09 - 2:11Now, let’s move on to the apartment tour.
-
2:11 - 2:14[The kitchen]
-
2:14 - 2:16Okay, so this is my front door.
-
2:16 - 2:19I keep all of my shoes in my bathroom, which I'll show you in a bit,
-
2:19 - 2:22but these are my commonly worn shoes.
-
2:22 - 2:25And then, there's an outlet that I didn't know I had.
-
2:25 - 2:26Good to know.
-
2:26 - 2:28Here, I have this light switch by the door
-
2:28 - 2:30that turns that light on.
-
2:30 - 2:32This is my fridge.
-
2:32 - 2:33Is it clean enough (to show you)?
-
2:33 - 2:34Okay, it's not that bad.
-
2:34 - 2:36This is what my fridge currently looks like.
-
2:36 - 2:38It's so empty on the bottom.
-
2:38 - 2:41This is a huge jar of cream cheese.
-
2:41 - 2:44And then, in the freezer, I have bagels,
-
2:44 - 2:47some garlic toast, ice cream, etc.
-
2:47 - 2:51Here's a water filter/ice dispenser built into the fridge.
-
2:51 - 2:56I don't really use this because I think the filter inside is dirty.
-
2:56 - 2:59There's like weird debris floating around in the water.
-
2:59 - 3:03I have a filter over there that I use to filter my water.
-
3:03 - 3:05Right next to the fridge, I have this toaster.
-
3:05 - 3:09I always toast my bagels on level 6 (no one asked).
-
3:09 - 3:12Here, I keep extra bags for whenever I go grocery shopping.
-
3:12 - 3:15And I also keep my masks [here].
-
3:15 - 3:18And then, here is where I keep my pots and pans.
-
3:18 - 3:19Here's my stove.
-
3:19 - 3:22I only really use this stove.
-
3:22 - 3:25But I have 4 just in case.
-
3:25 - 3:28And then, there's an oven that i have yet to use.
-
3:28 - 3:31So here, I keep some oils, salt and pepper.
-
3:31 - 3:34On the top, I have some electrolyte drink mix,
-
3:34 - 3:36I have soy milk here.
-
3:36 - 3:37I have some pain killers.
-
3:37 - 3:39Moving on, here I have my dishwasher.
-
3:39 - 3:44And then, on top of this countertop I have this indoors lettuce garden.
-
3:44 - 3:46All of these are different types of lettuce
-
3:46 - 3:49and I've been using this to eat salads.
-
3:49 - 3:52This is like my main source of veggies in my diet.
-
3:52 - 3:55Above the garden, I have this cabinet.
-
3:55 - 4:00This is where I keep all of my snacks and yummy stuff.
-
4:00 - 4:03So, I have instant noodles. I have cereal.
-
4:03 - 4:08Some korean snacks, probiotic gummies...
-
4:08 - 4:10Here is my sink.
-
4:10 - 4:12Underneath my sink, I have more soy milk.
-
4:12 - 4:16I have some wipes and more instant noodles.
-
4:16 - 4:18I have an espresso machine.
-
4:18 - 4:20I have some extra masks laying around.
-
4:20 - 4:23I have my keys here, my wallet,
-
4:23 - 4:27my morning matcha, some peanuts.
-
4:27 - 4:30This is where I keep all of my plates and cups.
-
4:30 - 4:34I'm very much a minimalist when it comes to the number of plates I have.
-
4:34 - 4:36Each one of these has its own purpose,
-
4:36 - 4:38and I only have one of each.
-
4:38 - 4:43I have a cocktail mixer in the back that I have never properly used before.
-
4:43 - 4:45I have this cute bear cup.
-
4:45 - 4:49I like to use this for my coffee cuz it fits perfectly like that.
-
4:49 - 4:50Isn't that cute?
-
4:50 - 4:54Up there, I keep my coffee. This is vanilla syrup.
-
4:54 - 4:58I have more mugs, cups, water bottles.
-
4:58 - 5:00That top shelf is pointless because I can't reach it.
-
5:00 - 5:05Literally in all of these cabinets the top shelf is empty.
-
5:05 - 5:07This is where I keep my utensils.
-
5:07 - 5:11They're not really organized in any way. It's just where they fit.
-
5:11 - 5:17And then, napkins, wipes, sauce for my McNuggets lol
-
5:17 - 5:21This is where I keep my trash bags, saran wrap,
-
5:21 - 5:24coffee, ziploc bags...
-
5:24 - 5:29And then here, more trash bags, manuals for the furniture
-
5:29 - 5:31And then here, more trash bags, manuals for the furniture
-
5:31 - 5:34Well, that's pretty much my kitchen area.
-
5:34 - 5:39[The living room/Bedroom]
-
5:39 - 5:42Right over here, I have the tiniest trash can.
-
5:42 - 5:45It's literally the size of my hand.
-
5:45 - 5:47This trash can fills up so quickly,
-
5:47 - 5:51but I also don't want to have a bigger trash can,
-
5:51 - 5:54so I just kinda live with this at the moment.
-
5:54 - 5:55This is my sofa.
-
5:55 - 5:58It fits 3 people.
-
5:58 - 5:59I can sleep on it.
-
5:59 - 6:01It's not the most comfortable thing to sleep on,
-
6:01 - 6:03but I can make it happen.
-
6:03 - 6:05In front of the sofa, I have this rug.
-
6:05 - 6:09I am in love with this. It just ties everything together.
-
6:09 - 6:12It's so soft. I can touch it all day long.
-
6:12 - 6:15I have this iridescent acrylic table.
-
6:15 - 6:18Over here, I have a fake plant. I love it.
-
6:18 - 6:19It's super cute.
-
6:19 - 6:23And I have this lamp that I sometimes turn on.
-
6:23 - 6:26I can just step on this and it turns on.
-
6:26 - 6:28How does that look?
-
6:28 - 6:30And then here, I hung up some tote bags.
-
6:30 - 6:32This is window #1.
-
6:32 - 6:37I always have the blinds up because I like to look out the windows.
-
6:37 - 6:40One of these strings broke. This is not working,
-
6:40 - 6:44so I can't actually do anything with these blinds.
-
6:44 - 6:49Also, by default, I like to have the windows open, but
-
6:49 - 6:54during the nighttime it gets pretty cold, so I'm going to close them.
-
6:54 - 6:58Right next to this window, I hung up my two YouTube plaques.
-
6:58 - 7:03This is my silver 100k button. This is my gold 1M plaque.
-
7:03 - 7:06I don't know which one, but one of them is crooked.
-
7:06 - 7:07I think it's the silver button.
-
7:07 - 7:09Uhh
-
7:09 - 7:11It's fine though, right?
-
7:11 - 7:13It's fine, yeah.
-
7:13 - 7:15This is my desk.
-
7:15 - 7:18I don't know what to do with this whole cord situation.
-
7:18 - 7:21There are so many cables.
-
7:21 - 7:23I don't know how to organize this,
-
7:23 - 7:25so I don't.
-
7:25 - 7:27I like how this desk is two-tiered
-
7:27 - 7:29so that I can keep my laptop on this top tier
-
7:29 - 7:33and have it eye level, and then I have my keyboard and mousepad here.
-
7:33 - 7:36Over here, I have a full-length mirror.
-
7:36 - 7:38This is my favorite photo spot.
-
7:38 - 7:42Whenever my friends visit, we like taking a mirror selfie here.
-
7:42 - 7:45Right next to the mirror, I have another fake plant.
-
7:45 - 7:47I need to rearrange the leaves
-
7:47 - 7:50cuz it's kinda looking wonky right now.
-
7:50 - 7:52And then, here's my bed. It's a twin-sized bed.
-
7:52 - 7:55This is the perfect size for my studio
-
7:55 - 7:58given I don't have that much space, but
-
7:58 - 8:02given I don't have that much space, but
-
8:02 - 8:06given I don't have that much space, but
-
8:06 - 8:07but we shall see.
-
8:07 - 8:11And then, I have this soft rug in front of my bed.
-
8:11 - 8:14The rug kinda matches my pillows, and I think that's cute.
-
8:14 - 8:17I didn't actually notice that until now.
-
8:17 - 8:21Right next to my bed, I have this closet.
-
8:21 - 8:25At first, I was worried that this closet wasn't going to be big enough
-
8:25 - 8:26to fit all of my clothes in.
-
8:26 - 8:30There's actually a lot more storage space than I thought there would be.
-
8:30 - 8:32This is not really organized in any way.
-
8:32 - 8:35I guess I would say I have outerwear over here.
-
8:35 - 8:36Puffer jackets, coats.
-
8:36 - 8:38Here I keep my pajamas.
-
8:38 - 8:39Here I keep my workout clothes.
-
8:39 - 8:45Pants, underwear, and then I just hung up all of my tops.
-
8:45 - 8:46It's not really organized.
-
8:46 - 8:48I do need to go through all of my clothes and organize this again
-
8:48 - 8:51because I don't know where anything is.
-
8:51 - 8:55I also keep my yoga mat and some other random stuff.
-
8:55 - 9:00[The bathroom]
-
9:00 - 9:05This bathroom is the main reason why I chose to move into this place.
-
9:05 - 9:07It's literally half the size of my apartment.
-
9:07 - 9:09Someone can sleep here.
-
9:09 - 9:10Two people can sleep here.
-
9:10 - 9:14I have this mirror that has built-in lights, which I love.
-
9:14 - 9:17I'm absolutely obsessed with the good lighting in this bathroom.
-
9:17 - 9:19I have yet to figure out a good way to organize
-
9:19 - 9:22all of my makeup and skincare products.
-
9:22 - 9:26I just literally throw everything in there once I'm done with my makeup.
-
9:26 - 9:29And this lower cabinet is where I keep my shoes.
-
9:29 - 9:35This is where I keep all of my laundry detergent and cleaning supplies.
-
9:35 - 9:38I have some water filters over there as well.
-
9:38 - 9:42And then, below my sink, there's more storage space.
-
9:42 - 9:50Here, I keep paper towels, toilet paper, some dusters, pads.
-
9:50 - 9:54And then, in these little drawers, I have some q-tips,
-
9:54 - 9:57my retainer, a little headband, hair roller.
-
9:57 - 10:00This is where I keep my hair brush and curling irons.
-
10:02 - 10:03Contacts
-
10:03 - 10:06And my hair dryer
-
10:06 - 10:09Over here, next to the toilet, I have a scale.
-
10:09 - 10:13I don't really use it, but it's there just in case I want to.
-
10:13 - 10:19And then, on top of the toilet, I have my Alexa echo dot.
-
10:19 - 10:22I like to listen to music through this while I'm taking a shower,
-
10:22 - 10:24which is why I keep it in the bathroom.
-
10:24 - 10:28I also think it's good for when you have guests over because
-
10:28 - 10:30you don't want to hear the sound of them peeing,
-
10:30 - 10:36so you just play music through this, and it'll drown out any unnecessary sounds.
-
10:36 - 10:38These are scented gel beads.
-
10:38 - 10:41Another small trash can over there.
-
10:41 - 10:43That trash can is smaller than my other one.
-
10:43 - 10:46We only have tiny trash cans in this household.
-
10:46 - 10:48This towel is dirty. Please do not look at this.
-
10:48 - 10:50This is my shower booth.
-
10:50 - 10:51So, this is not built in.
-
10:51 - 10:56I actually had to buy these separately so that i could hang up all of my stuff.
-
10:56 - 11:02But basically, I have my shampoo, conditioner up on top with some cleansing oil.
-
11:02 - 11:05Body scrub, some more conditioner
-
11:05 - 11:07And I keep some bar soap over there.
-
11:07 - 11:10In my bathroom, right next to the shower booth,
-
11:10 - 11:13there's a washer and dryer.
-
11:13 - 11:15This is revolutionary because back in college,
-
11:15 - 11:18I had to go to a separate laundry room and do my laundry,
-
11:18 - 11:23which would have been fine if my apartment was close to the laundry room,
-
11:23 - 11:28but I literally had to walk with my load of laundry
-
11:28 - 11:32in the snow for 5 minutes to reach my laundry room,
-
11:32 - 11:35so it was definitely not the most convenient.
-
11:35 - 11:38So this is very much helpful that I have this.
-
11:38 - 11:42That completes my apartment tour. I hope you guys enjoyed.
-
11:42 - 11:46Thank you guys so much for watching, and I'll see you in my next video. Bye!
