This is Terrace House’s Yama-Channel
with Ryota Yamasato, Episode 25.

I'm not going to defend anyone,
but, you know, things happen.

One thing I want to say is that
Yoshimi Tokui is the one and only.

I kept thinking this today.

Well, Tokui currently has to
deal with some issues

that cause him to be absent
from Terrace House for a while.

I'm sure there's some debate about this
among the viewers of Yama-Channel as well.

Some people might say, “What he did
was bad, so that's what happens."

We all realized the importance
of Tokui's presence,

and I'm sure this is true
for other shows as well.

The viewers of this show probably have a similar
experience when watching it without him.

Especially for those brats
living there… Not brats…

The kids… No, I don't know them that well…

Never mind. For those guys,
Tokui must've been a saving grace.

I'm like an unvaccinated stray dog.

I have this bad disease where you
start biting everything that moves.

everyone without distinction.

But since Tokui can't appear for

are going to have a hard time.

A lot of things have happened!

I've been chattering away
since the beginning of the video.

This was one thing that happened.

But, this!

I'm sure your memory of the rugby
world championships is still fresh?

The Japanese team took a giant leap
forward and did really well.

And one of the players, Yu Tamura--

I'd been hearing rumors that
there were a lot of Terrace House fans

among the guys on the
Japanese national rugby team.

If you haven't seen the episode yet…

Most of them watch the show,
but there's one player who doesn't.

when Haruka said she
wanted to talk to Peppe.

At one point, she was misrepresented as

That must have been tough for her.

But it was a good ending for her.

She thought she'd be the princess
from the beginning of the story,

but she turned out to be playing
the role of the evil witch.

Yet, before Peppe left, she was
magically turned into a princess.

He made her feel like she was the
heroine, and then she left.

Well done, Haruka. Sorry about everything.

The honorable Ruka
decided to leave as well.

There was really only
one way this could go.

He was going to be the
first person on the show

to have thread coming out of here.

But it never came out.

I was convinced that eventually
thread would come out,

and he'd say, “Thread came out!

Okay, I'm leaving.”

And then he would leave.
I'd been looking forward to that.

Before leaving,

he made something called
Carbroccoli pasta, whatever that is.

There was no big drama.
He cooked a nice meal and—

about one outrageous scene.

We all watched a very scary scene.

There's a piece of paper on the table.

And Ruka is focused on writing something.

It said,
“Hello, Ruka.”

He's writing to Ruka?

For a moment I thought,

am I watching Terrace House or did
Netflix switch to some horror thriller?

And then I realized—

I was wondering why he'd been doing
all that weird stuff on the show.

He has multiple personalities.

And just when I thought, now some
other personality has taken over his mind

and is writing a note to him,

telling him about his real objective,

it turned out to be a school essay.

It was startling.

He said, “Hi, I'm Ruka.”

That made me jump.

They probably had to pinch
themselves so they wouldn't laugh.

Listening to all of that must be tough.

Then they all ate Carbroccoli,
and that was it.

But more importantly,

on the morning of their leaving,

when all of the housemates
gathered together--

Hana, who likes Ryo,
is sitting right there,

and next to him there's the
girl from the hostess bar.

And then...

The girl from the hostess bar
is sitting on the chair like this.

And that’s when…

Tokui-san…

This is Ryo's arm.

hasn't shown up yet,

crushing Hana's hopes.

We don't know whether Hana picked
up on this - well, probably not.

One reason why I think so is because
she asked Ryo out for dinner.

After that, Peppe went to
the convenience store.

Finally, his dream of having his
own manga published came true

and he goes to buy it.

This is where we got to see
this episode's best scene.

Is there really a store with
such a marvelous old lady?

Like a grandma who you can just tell
that she cooks delicious meals.

When Peppe went to buy his manga—

That interaction was just—

I mean, we've sat through
a lot of vicious stuff lately.

But at the end of this week's episode
they presented us with this highlight.

That interaction between Peppe, the
Italian who wants to be a manga artist,

and this granny—

This scene will certainly
warm your hearts.

The kind granny has filled my heart
