    The standing flexion test assesses for lumbosacral,
    sacroiliac, or pelvic dysfunction.
  • 0:08 - 0:12
    The examiner stands behind the patient and
    places hands on the iliac crests with thumbs
  • 0:12 - 0:16
    over the inferior notch of the posterior superior
    iliac spine.
  • 0:16 - 0:18
    The patient slowly flexes forward.
  • 0:18 - 0:24
    If the posterior superior iliac spine moves
    more cephalad on one side, the test is positive,
  • 0:24 - 0:25
    indicating dysfunction.
