-
Hello my darlings. I hope you're doing
-
very very well. I hope you're
-
sitting comfortably and you are
-
cozy, you have your snacks and
-
your beverages ready. Trust me,
-
you're gonna need some kind
-
of support, blanket, or snack, or
-
something, I don't know. Because
-
I will be talking about Ariel DeJesus
-
yet again today. In February and March
-
of this year, I believe, I did a two-part
-
video covering everything that Ariel
-
DeJesus has done. If you haven't
-
seen those videos, I will leave a link
-
down below. But it gives you a whole
-
backstory as to who Ariel DeJesus
-
is and what she has done. But a
-
quick, brief, recap of what I said
-
in those two videos is that, one,
-
Ariel DeJesus is a tattoo artist in
-
Fort Worth Texas. She owns her own
-
tattoo studio called Blindfold Tattoos.
-
She also does this thing called blindfold
-
tattoos where she gets her clients to
-
pick three things. So for example,
-
a rose, a pocket watch, and a lion,
-
and then she will make a tattoo out
-
of those three things and the client
-
will wear a blindfold and will not see
-
the end result until the tattoo has
-
finished and then they take the blindfold
-
off and it's a whole reveal process.
-
She got a lot of popularity on TikTok
-
for doing something like this. She
-
uploads very very regularly as well.
-
She gets called out a lot on TikTok
-
by fellow tattoo enthusiasts and
-
tattoo artists. That's how you know
-
you're in the crap. When other tattoo
-
artists are calling you out, ok?
-
She's very problematic when it comes
-
to hygeine and cleanliness. She has
-
also left her 12 year old daughter, ok,
-
12 years old, she left her 12 year old
-
daughter in her tattoo studio to tattoo
-
a client while she just went off and did
-
something out of the studio. Ariel
-
is known for doing very very very very
-
very quick tattoos. And she brags about
-
it like it's a good thing. She'll make
-
TikToks saying, "I did this tattoo in
-
under an hour". We can tell. She has
-
stolen artwork and claimed it as her own
-
many many many many times.
-
She also insists on
-
doing problematic autism tattoos.
-
Even though a large amount of people have
-
come forward and said, this symbol,
-
which is the puzzle piece, is incredibly
-
problematic. But she just carries on
-
doing it. It's actually been a while
-
since I've even thought about Ariel to
-
be honest with you. I thought her
-
popularity may have died down. She may
-
not even be uploading content that much
-
anymore. Cuz I hadn't seen anything about
-
her in a very long time. And until one of
-
her actual TikToks popped up on my
-
For You page. And let me tell you, I was
-
incredibly confused at first. Because
-
I thought it was someone that I follow
-
stitching one of her TikToks to like
-
roast her or something. But oh no,
-
it was the Ariel. So this prompted me
-
to have a quick look through her page
-
to see what she's been up to recently.
-
Curiosity got the better of me, ok?
-
Like, I couldn't help myself. So let me
-
show you the TikTok that come up on my
-
For You page. The audacity for this to
-
infiltrate my usual dogs and chicken
-
tender content, oh boy. It's a TikTok
-
showing a lower stomach tattoo. Ok, that.
-
Oh boy. Ariel said that she did in 50
-
minutes. 50 whole minutes. The caption of
-
this TikTok says, "I know I get a lot of
-
hate for doing my tattoos quickly. A lottt
-
of people like the fact that I am fast.
-
Not everyone likes the pain from needles.
-
But instead wants to cover scars. It was
-
an absolute honor. Email me at her email
-
address. I am located in Fort Worth Texas"
-
Ohhhhh to do something this intricate,
-
in my opinion, should take a days session.
-
Or over multiple sessions. So you do
-
the base of it, and then you do the
-
fiddly little details the second session.
-
If the person cannot handle the pain.
-
Which is completely fine. Tattoos hurt.
-
Not everyone can sit for a long period of
-
time, I'm very aware. I'm sure the
-
majority of you are very aware. Because
-
trying to get all of that done. That's
-
a large amount of space covered there.
-
The mistakes in this
-
tattoo are so loud. That's all I can
-
see. I cannot see the potential of this
-
tattoo or anything like that. I think
-
the majority of you can point out
-
at least 10 mistakes and you probably
-
have a normal life, unlike me. You know,
-
you don't spend hours and hours and hours
-
a day staring at tattoos. But I do. It
-
probably doesn't take a, I'm not trained,
-
but it doesn't take a trained eye to see
-
these mistakes. This seems like it's such
-
a meaningful tattoo to the client and
-
Ariel had the audacity to rush through
-
this tattoo and have absolutely no care
-
about the final result. You cannot tell me
-
that you can look at that and be proud
-
of what you have done. This isn't what
-
being a tattoo artist is about. As a
-
tattoo artist, you should care about
-
what you do. You should put your every
-
bit of effort into it. You have to care
-
about your clients and their body. They
-
carry this bit of art for life. Tattooing
-
is not erased by any means. You do
-
not get an award for being a quick tattoo
-
artist. Of course, there are tattoo
-
artists that are quicker than others.
-
I'm fully aware. I've been tattooed by
-
artists that take their time for whatever
-
reason and I've been tattooed by artists
-
that are a little bit. quicker. That being
-
said, the end result always looks
-
amazing. It doesn't look rushed I honestly
-
do not thing that there is one smooth
-
line in this whole tattoo. I don't think
-
anything is symmetrical at all. With this
-
style of tattoo, it relies heavily on this
-
types to make it look good. If you don't
-
have the symmetry, if you don't have the
-
smooth line work, your tattoo is
-
screwed. What is shocking to
-
me is that there is absolutely no negative
-
or constructive criticism comments on
-
this post. Not one. Ariel polices her
-
comments so dang bad. We've learned
-
this from the previous videos that I had
-
done on her. She makes it so dang
-
obvious that she deletes comments
-
because the majority of her posts have
-
nothing but positive ones. And I get it.
-
You might not want negativity on your
-
page. You know, it can be harmful to some.
-
But it's the fact that she hides from it
-
so dang much. The next TikTok we're
-
gonna look at has this thumbnail that
-
says: "Ariel get's so much hate. Why do
-
you still book in with her?". That is
-
such a good question. Ok cool, what
-
are the three subjects that you chose?
-
I chose florals, clocks, and music. Floral
-
clocks, music. Where are you gonna put it?
-
Here, on my arm. Tight Tight!
-
TikTok, I know you said you've been
-
following me for a while.
-
I follow you on both.
-
Do you see the hate I get on TikTok?
-
Sometimes, yes. So how come you see
-
all the hate on TikTok but then you still
-
come and get a big ass $200 blindfold
-
tattoo?
-
Why would you do that? Why would you
-
do such a thing? You silly goober! I have
-
my own opinion. Laughs. Cuz she has her
-
own opinion. I mean, I won't argue with
-
that. Your body, your choice. And all of
-
that. I mean, you wouldn't catch me
-
getting by a hateful, neglectful tattoo
-
artist, but, that's just me. Here's the
-
end result.
-
It's ok. Is it the worst
-
tattoo I've ever seen? Absolutely not. Is
-
it the best tattoo I've ever seen? Also,
-
absolutely not. This comment made me do
-
a wee chuckle. And it says, "Isn't the 9
-
missing? And the lines on the ridge of the
-
clock near the three were forgotten.
-
And if we take a closer look, this person
-
is correct. Even though there is a
-
butterfly wing where the 9 would be,
-
you would still see some of it. Just
-
even just the hint of the number or the
-
Roman numeral, right? Even so, if that's
-
not the case, the comment is correct
-
because the lines by the three have
-
completely disappeared. Like, where
-
Not Synced
are they? Also, you can't see the two,
-
Not Synced
it's just not super accurate. The line
-
Not Synced
work is also really shaky in places.
-
Not Synced
And the circle at the top there, well
-
Not Synced
that looks a little bit drunk, doesn't
-
Not Synced
it? As you know from my last two videos,
-
Not Synced
Ariel is just a bit defensive. Just a
-
Not Synced
little bit, you know just a little bit
-
Not Synced
just a little bit defensive. A little
-
Not Synced
bit. Her response to this comment about
-
Not Synced
the missing elements was, baby, there is
-
Not Synced
a missing 2, 4, 5, 9, etc. Can you please
-
Not Synced
calm down and just appreciate the
-
Not Synced
beautiful artwork? So I actually forgot
-
Not Synced
to get a screenshot of that response
-
Not Synced
to that comment. The comment that I just
-
Not Synced
read about the missing elements has been
-
Not Synced
deleted. Along with Ariel's response. I
-
Not Synced
had copied and pasted Ariel's response
-
Not Synced
into my notes, so you can see it here.
-
Not Synced
I don't know if it's my TicTok bugging
-
Not Synced
out or it has been deleted, I'm not sure
-
Not Synced
since we're with that's just one comment
-
Not Synced
has been deleted. I don't know. So yeah,
-
Not Synced
if you don't believe the response, I
-
Not Synced
completely understand cuz obviously
-
Not Synced
I don't have the screenshot to prove it,
-
Not Synced
but, I mean, I have no reason to make this
-
Not Synced
up. But hey, what do we expect from
-
Not Synced
someone like Ariel. The next TicTok we're
-
Not Synced
gonna look at, uhhh, I was really hoping
-
Not Synced
that this was a simpler thing to be honest
-
Not Synced
with you guys, but it is. It's a TicTok
-
Not Synced
called, "Her 12 year old daughter
-
Not Synced
tattooing. [Music] I will say, in my
-
Not Synced
opinion, it is incredibly irresponsible
-
Not Synced
to let a 12 year old tattoo like this.
-
Not Synced
You know, Ariel is a grown up, an adult,
-
Not Synced
a professional tattoo artist. She should
-
Not Synced
know better. Like. Tattooing can be so
-
Not Synced
damn dangerous, like I could just not
-
Not Synced
live with myself if something went wrong
-
Not Synced
with my child while they're tattooing.
-
Not Synced
You know the risks of cross-contamination
-
Not Synced
and hurting yourself is so dang high.
-
Not Synced
And while accidents that can cause
-
Not Synced
lifetime harm, are pretty rare, it doesn't
-
Not Synced
mean that it's not gonna happen. I did
-
Not Synced
do some more research, because I tried
-
Not Synced
to do research about this whole situation
-
Not Synced
in my, I don't remember which part, I
-
Not Synced
covered the daughter tattooing um in it
-
Not Synced
might have been in part one, I'm not
-
Not Synced
sure. I can't really find much information
-
Not Synced
but I was doing research for that and
-
Not Synced
still the same to be honest with you.
-
Not Synced
The thing is, the only time you can
-
Not Synced
get a tattoo under the age of 18 in
-
Not Synced
Texas is if it's to cover an existing
-
Not Synced
tattoo. So say it's say you are 16 years
-
Not Synced
old, you got a tattoo out of state, your
-
Not Synced
tattoo looks terrible. You come back
-
Not Synced
home to Texas. You want to get that
-
Not Synced
tattoo covered up, that's the only time
-
Not Synced
and you have to have parent's permission
-
Not Synced
to do that as well. Otherwise, you have
-
Not Synced
to be 18 and over to get a tattoo. Like
-
Not Synced
a brand new one. Ok, I forgot to say,
-
Not Synced
the reason why I brought this up is
-
Not Synced
because I personally, this is my own
-
Not Synced
opinion, my own thoughts, my own views,
-
Not Synced
but I find it very strange that the
-
Not Synced
daughter isn't even old enough to get
-
Not Synced
a tattoo, but she is doing tattoos. You
-
Not Synced
also have to have a tattoo license to
-
Not Synced
do tattoos in Texas. Do you think they
-
Not Synced
are giving those out to 12 year olds?
-
Not Synced
I found this on a website called
-
Not Synced
authoritytattoo.com And I'm not sure how
-
Not Synced
legit all this is, so take it with a pinch
-
Not Synced
of salt obviously, but it does say, to
-
Not Synced
acquire a tattoo license where one is
-
Not Synced
required, you'll need a minimum to be
-
Not Synced
at least 18 years of age and have
-
Not Synced
successfully completed an apprenticeship
-
Not Synced
with a professional tattoo artist. Do with
-
Not Synced
that information what you will, I don't
-
Not Synced
know. Anyway, moving on, please will you
-
Not Synced
just look at this tattoo of Ariel's cousin
-
Not Synced
help me Comic Sans.
-
Not Synced
[music]
-
Not Synced
The eyes. It's the eyes more than anything
-
Not Synced
with this tattoo. What the hell happened?
-
Not Synced
There are so many reference photos
-
Not Synced
of Ariel all over the internet, ok? You
-
Not Synced
have no excuse to have janky eyes like
-
Not Synced
this. Ok, moving onto the next one, strap
-
Not Synced
yourself in for this one because this is
-
Not Synced
Ariel incriminating herself the plagiarism
-
Not Synced
front so damn bad. Ok, I have this one
-
Not Synced
that you sent me. Yes. And then I have one
-
Not Synced
that I customly put together. Ok. Like, um
-
Not Synced
I guess like edited together.
-
Not Synced
[Music]
-
Not Synced
Mmhmm. Uh huh, yep. Yep. You did just
-
Not Synced
witness that. You did just witness Ariel,
-
Not Synced
ok? Badly superimpose Belle's head
-
Not Synced
onto artwork that she found on the
-
Not Synced
internet. With little to no changes.
-
Not Synced
And then she acted like Picasso for
-
Not Synced
doing so. She's like, "No no no no, I'm
-
Not Synced
not going to copy the artwork that you
-
Not Synced
wanted, that you got from the internet,
-
Not Synced
ok? I'm gonna take this artwork and
-
Not Synced
claim it as my own, and pretend like I'm
-
Not Synced
the good guy. So you may be thinking,
-
Not Synced
well, she didn't do much to the design,
-
Not Synced
so it's gonna turn out looking good,
-
Not Synced
right? You know, the majority of this
-
Not Synced
isn't Ariel's work, so, it's a copy and
-
Not Synced
paste kinda deal, it's gonna be great.
-
Not Synced
Oh, oh, my siblings in Christ, wait til
-
Not Synced
you see this.
-
Not Synced
[music]
-
Not Synced
The head. Ok. The fricking head. The
-
Not Synced
size of the head, in proportion to the
-
Not Synced
rest of that body that she took from the
-
Not Synced
internet. Are you joking me? How can she
-
Not Synced
look at that and think, "Yeah, that looks
-
Not Synced
freaking great!"? I can't, I can't. That's
-
Not Synced
not Belle. That's Belle's cousin Big
-
Not Synced
Belle. [sound of bell chiming]
-
Not Synced
She is so unwell for doing that, I swear.
-
Not Synced
Ok, moving on again before I lose my
-
Not Synced
goddamn mind. We're not gonna look
-
Not Synced
at a autism puzzle piece tattoo that
-
Not Synced
she has done recently. This is after her
-
Not Synced
being called out numerous times from
-
Not Synced
numerous people for doing such tattoos
-
Not Synced
in the past. She is still doing this
-
Not Synced
problematic puzzle piece tattoo.
-
Not Synced
What are the three subjects that you
-
Not Synced
chose? Autism, watercolor, and trippy.
-
Not Synced
For many people, the puzzle piece is
-
Not Synced
incredibly traumatic. I did cover the
-
Not Synced
reason why in my part 2 video about Ariel
-
Not Synced
I think it was. So I don't feel the need
-
Not Synced
to go into it again. Also, I know that the
-
Not Synced
history of the puzzle piece is incredibly,
-
Not Synced
like I was saying, traumatic and
-
Not Synced
triggering to those that are autistic, so
-
Not Synced
I don't really want to upset anyone in
-
Not Synced
this video. To be honest, sadly, this is
-
Not Synced
one of Ariel's better tattoos when it
-
Not Synced
comes to the quality, not the design,
-
Not Synced
obviously. There is a couple of comments
-
Not Synced
on this video trying to make Ariel aware
-
Not Synced
of how problematic this symbol could
-
Not Synced
be to some, but let's face it. She already
-
Not Synced
knows. She polices her comments. She is
-
Not Synced
aware of what she is doing. Anyway, one
-
Not Synced
comment says: "Not the puzzle piece. Go
-
Not Synced
research autism speaks and the puzzle
-
Not Synced
piece. For the love of God, it's an awful
-
Not Synced
symbol. Please research this shit." And
-
Not Synced
then there's another that says, "Not you
-
Not Synced
permanently a hate symbol on another
-
Not Synced
person." And then there is a couple more
-
Not Synced
positive comments being like "That looks
-
Not Synced
great, etc., etc., but again, like I said,
-
Not Synced
she polices her comments, and I believe
-
Not Synced
again, that the two negative ones that I
-
Not Synced
have read out have just fallen through
-
Not Synced
the cracks. Overall, long story short, for
-
Not Synced
this whole video, Ariel is still up to no
-
Not Synced
good. She's still doing the problematic
-
Not Synced
tattoos, she's still letting her 12 year
-
Not Synced
old daughter tattoo, she's still bragging
-
Not Synced
about really bad quality tattoos, and
-
Not Synced
yeah, not much has changed. Should
-
Not Synced
have known. Should have guessed. People
-
Not Synced
like this don't really ever change, do
-
Not Synced
they? I think that is enough for today.
-
Not Synced
Thank you so much for joining me and
-
Not Synced
hanging out for a little while, and until
-
Not Synced
my next video, bye!
