How To Scan Documents On iPhone 12!

  • 0:00 - 0:02
Welcome back everyone! I will go ahead and
  • 0:02 - 0:03
    show you exactly how to
  • 0:03 - 0:06
scan documents on any IPhone 12 out
  • 0:06 - 0:06
    there,
  • 0:06 - 0:08
or really even any other IPhone, if it's
  • 0:08 - 0:10
On IOS 14, IOS 13, even IOS 12.
  • 0:10 - 0:13
It's exactly the same exact process. So,
  • 0:13 - 0:14
what you want to start off with doing is
  • 0:14 - 0:16
first of all get the specific thing that
  • 0:16 - 0:18
you want to go ahead and scan. So, in this
  • 0:18 - 0:19
case, I will just scan the front page of
  • 0:19 - 0:21
this specific book that I have here. It is
  • 0:21 - 0:22
    a very basic one.
  • 0:22 - 0:24
Now, all you want to do is locate the
  • 0:24 - 0:25
    notes app on your device.
  • 0:25 - 0:26
So, you can go ahead and search for.
  • 0:26 - 0:28
    It is usually on your
  • 0:28 - 0:28
    front page.
  • 0:28 - 0:29
If it's not here, you can always swipe
  • 0:29 - 0:32
down type in Notes or if you're on IOS
  • 0:32 - 0:34
14 you can swipe all the way to the side
  • 0:34 - 0:35
and search up notes within your specific
  • 0:35 - 0:37
    little app library right here
  • 0:37 - 0:39
now once you have the app up like i do
  • 0:39 - 0:41
right now you want to go ahead and
  • 0:41 - 0:42
long press on it, you don't want to go
  • 0:42 - 0:44
ahead and you know specifically open it.
  • 0:44 - 0:45
You want to just long press on it like
  • 0:45 - 0:46
    this.
  • 0:46 - 0:48
You will come into this little panel and
  • 0:48 - 0:50
you'll see this little option the fourth
  • 0:50 - 0:51
    one down typically.
  • 0:51 - 0:53
It says ScaDocument. So, what we can do
  • 0:53 - 0:54
    here is go and click
  • 0:54 - 0:57
Scan Document. You'll come to this page
  • 0:57 - 0:58
eventually down. I guess you know if
  • 0:58 - 0:59
you've already done through this and
  • 0:59 - 1:00
that's okay now. When you click on that
  • 1:00 - 1:02
you'll pretty much come into this page.
  • 1:02 - 1:04
Now it might look a little confusing, but
  • 1:04 - 1:06
all you have to do really is just
  • 1:06 - 1:08
scan your specific page. So basically
  • 1:08 - 1:10
just put your book right in front of the
  • 1:10 - 1:11
    webcam like this
  • 1:11 - 1:13
and you'll pretty much see that it. It'll
  • 1:13 - 1:15
start kind of taking it up and as you
  • 1:15 - 1:16
can see it'll start kind of highlighting
  • 1:16 - 1:18
    over that specific page.
  • 1:18 - 1:19
And I know I am not talking to the
  • 1:19 - 1:20
microphone right now that one's kind of
  • 1:20 - 1:22
a bad example so i'll go ahead and kind
  • 1:22 - 1:23
of put it there like that
  • 1:23 - 1:24
and i'll go ahead and kind of try to
  • 1:24 - 1:26
scan it this way. And usually, it
  • 1:26 - 1:27
automatically takes it, as you can see it
  • 1:27 - 1:29
    just automatically took it.
  • 1:29 - 1:31
And you can do this for any pages that
  • 1:31 - 1:32
you want for any piece of paper in front
  • 1:32 - 1:33
    of you.
  • 1:33 - 1:34
Now, if I go and click on it you can see
  • 1:34 - 1:36
that it did a actually pretty good job.
  • 1:36 - 1:38
It pretty much scanned that specific
  • 1:38 - 1:39
document that I had behind it.
  • 1:39 - 1:41
Now, if you're done and you want to well
  • 1:41 - 1:42
first of all if you want to keep going
  • 1:42 - 1:44
you can go and just click. You know Done
  • 1:44 - 1:45
right here and then keep scanning
  • 1:45 - 1:47
whatever documents but if you're Done
  • 1:47 - 1:49
you can go ahead and actually click Save
  • 1:49 - 1:50
    which is down here.
  • 1:50 - 1:52
And It will pretty much just allow you to
  • 1:52 - 1:53
save these specific scanned documents in
  • 1:53 - 1:54
    your Notes.
  • 1:54 - 1:56
So, now you can actually go within any
  • 1:56 - 1:57
other apple device that sign in with
  • 1:57 - 1:58
    your icloud account,
  • 1:58 - 2:00
and really open up those you know icloud
  • 2:00 - 2:02
apps and open up the notes app and
  • 2:02 - 2:03
    pretty much be done.
  • 2:03 - 2:04
Your stuff is already saved. So,
  • 2:04 - 2:06
that's a really awesome thing you can do
  • 2:06 - 2:08
like I said I think you can do this ever
  • 2:08 - 2:09
since ios IOS 11 or IOS 12,
  • 2:09 - 2:11
but you now have the capability within
  • 2:11 - 2:13
the sap2 so that's really pretty much
  • 2:13 - 2:15
the process again to scan documents
  • 2:15 - 2:17
hold down here. Click scan document and
  • 2:17 - 2:18
that's pretty much it if you guys have
