In front of me is

my Guru who guided me,

Vidyanath Upadhaya,

who told me to go to study Tantra

and I went to Varanasi.

In this platform

respected brother Jagman is present

who told me
not to cut my tuft

I have not cut my
tuft ...

There are people.
who brought me up,

since my childhood.

It would be like
teaching my teacher

I won't present any
new findings here.

Because I returned this home,
after 25 years

If you go to your,
parents house after 25 years

you will see that,
oh this Dhupi tree has become so tall.

I had only planted this Rudraksha,
It has become so big.

This room is just as it is,
Oh Shiva, this has not been painted also.

These things are coming
in my mind

By coming in this platform,
I'm just getting gifts provided by Gurus.

During my first meeting,
in this hall

Bernard Colver from Germany,
had come and presented here

Guru Vidyanath Ji had
organized it

At that time,
University was only hypothesized

Guru Vidyanath hasn't become,
Richter yet.

I went to my Guru's house.

And, Guru told,
we are making it a University

You should study with full
focus,

We were reading with our focus,
and became more clever.

Guru called Bernard Colver,
for the lunch

He called me also,
and after it he told me

Maybe I should go for Germany,
for Masters and Research

I told my Guru,
"Please send me Varanasi"

I will come after,
studying Tantra Vidya.

And, after I came,
several things happened

We suffered several difficulties,
to start this department also

This is not the place,
to talk about those bitter things.

But I have spoken many times,
In this platform as a teacher

I have taught in this same classroom,
Before leaving this country.

And number of students,
kept on decreasing.

Maybe I wasn't an
efficient teacher

I don't want to
blame students.

One time,
one year became such

Student number became Zero

No new students
were admitted.

President of Students union,
was my nephew

"Oh Nephew, you are also President,

Please encourage some students,
to study this Tantra subject"

I told him by going in
the student union room itself.

He told me, 'Uncle, what to do
by studying your Tantra Vidya

There is no "Future" '

He didn't say "No Bhavishya (future)"

Therefore I remembered it as,
'No "Future" '

After it I did not want
to go home

I used to stay at Sitapaila,
I walked this side

I went to Guhyashwari Peetha

And I told "Why you put me
in this Vidya with no future

I stayed to teach students"
Some inspiration came to me

What was this "Future"?
"Future" was job

"Future" was foreign country.
I felt too much pain.

When I realized its meaning
I realized it meditating in the Peeth.

Now days for me to stay in this country,
has come over, I realized this.

My Guru had sprinkled water
from this Peeth and had told

"You became Purnabhishikta".
Sitting in the same place I had to decide

I will go foreign land now.
Please give me leave.

After 1 month of it,
I left this country.

And today, we in America,
In the American Academy of Religion

In the 2nd year of my going,

we told we should have conference
regarding "Tantra Vidya", and started it

Now we have at least 50 professors,
Various research on "Tantra Vidya"

they are doing. Organizing
each years conference

First 6 years I represented it,
becoming President

After it, my friends
and my students are representing it.

We just,
before I came here

We published
"Oxford handbook of Tantrik Studies"

More than 50 foreign scholars,
wrote it

and those books we will integrate,
in all college curriculum also.

Whatever we could do by staying here,

one tenth of that we have done,
by remaining in any corner of world.

And this inspiration of Gurus,
We haven't wasted it.

Four years back I had one inspiration.
I had come to Nepal.

Some recognized people I met.

They told me, "Now you only teach
in America, who will teach us?"

I went and immediately,
established an online curriculum

opened "Vimarsha Foundation"

after it, like the American semester
courses

I started free education
through Vimarsha Foundation,

which can be accessed from
any part of the world.

In average 1000-1500 students
join there in every classes.

Till now I have taught around 15000
students about this Vidya

and the way my students have helped
me to organize this

it is all the blessings of the Guru,
that I have concluded.

My Guru, Prem Chetan Vidya Bhusan Ji,
he used to tell me while talking about job

"You will go to America become a professor
and work there". I laughed hysterically

I didn't believe in that Vak Siddhi there,
because I hadn't studied English at all.

I who hadn't studied any English,
how will I be professor in America?

But it was word of the "Guru"
that had to be fulfilled.

It became fulfilled anyhow.

And today coming here,
I felt happy seeing one thing

My students, Madhav Lamichhane,
and his friends, and Tantra charcha family

These all, brought so much awareness
regarding Tantra in common people

These so many people are present here,
They are present to hear this subject.

I'm feeling very proud seeing this.

Now I felt we don't have shortage
of people to learn and protect Tantra

I'm grateful for that

I don't want to enter much
in the subject matter.

There is already book,
you can read it also.

But I have to speak
few words anyway.

In that, "In context of Nepal"
is added in subject topic.

In between "doglars group" and "Sanderson"
these foreign scholars findings come

They established such things,
In Tantra Vidya, Sri Vidya parampara

Is related to south, It came from
Tamilnadu.

They concluded such in western world.

If we investigate Tantra Parampara here,

Here are many Tantra expert, Culture expert.
If you go and ask them you will know

where there is Rajarajeshwari in Pashupati
or Tripura Sundari in Bhaktapur

You go in villages,
My brother "Ram Hari Timalsina"

He is writing a book on
"Tripurasundari Parampara of Nepal"

In the Dhading district itself,
there are 2 Tripura Sundari temples.

Similarly if you go in Salyan district,
in the various regions of Far western

there are temples of Tripura sundari

And, speaking about cultural importance of
Tripura Sundari, we find many in Nepal

Regarding Sadhakas of Nepal,
Dhana Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana

was an expert Tantrik of Nepal.

He did sadhana of Tripurasundari
as per Sarvamnaya Krama.

He has left several of his works for us.

And Dhan Samsher Ji, he has revealed,
some very secret information there.

"Sarvatha Rahasyam Na Udghataniyam"
Just like Abhinavagupta told

"Na sarvatha Gopaniyam"
Meaning, these secrets of Tantra

should not be hidden fully,
nor should be exposed blatantly.

We should show a little
one who gets it will get it

One who doesn't understand
will come to Guru and ask him.

Because Tantra is not a subject
where everything is publicly detailed.

He has commanded that in several places.

He told sadhana as per
Hadi krama of Sri Vidya.

But if we go in full samasti krama
of Sarvamnaya

as my Guru Vidya Bhusan Prem Chetan
Brahmachari taught

I later learned those vidyas under
Shankar Chetan Bharati

As per Vidyas taught by them

at last these all Vidyas integrate
in Pashupati.

Now I will make Jagman brother happy,
Inside Pashupati also, Inside which is called

Pashupatastra. Laghu Pashupatastra,
Madhyam, MahaPashupatastra

which comes inside Purascharyarnava.

Other than it, 4 other Pashupatastra,
were given to us by our Guru.

Inside it also, when we get "Sarvamnaya
Sarvadhikara Sarvasamrajya Medha Diksha"

At that time the mantra which Guru gives
to us,

In that we worship Pashupati as
Chanda Kapaleshwara

which is as Chanda Kapal it is
second head of Guhyeshwari

and Kalasankarshini is Jwala form of top

Lord Pashupati becoming Chandakapaleshwara
he gives Mantra Dana to us

To him also we address as "Vajradhara"
In the same mantra

where it tells "Chandakapaleshwara"
In the same mantra "Vajrine Vajradharaya"

Pashupatinath is represented by the word
"Vajradhara" itself. That mantra we get.

More than that I won't tell about mantra.
I already told 'Only some hint is given

No way of telling the whole mantra."

In the parampara of Nepal,
in the Pashupati

not only these Shakta sadhana
are integrated but also

all Hindu Buddhist sadhana
become integrated there.

As a proof of that only I had to
pronounce a part of that Mantra.

Now there is discussion about
Srikula parampara, Kalikula parampara etc

"Kadi Hadi Sadi" Vidya. These Kadi Vidya
Sadi Vidya are built upon

Tripurasundari only. Vagbhava, Kamaraja,
like three Kutas, those three Kutas

taking initial letter of it,
we made these Kramas.

In the books of Tripurasundari only
these type of Vidya is discussed.

Actually these all Kadi Hadi Vidyas are
Vidyas of Tripurasundari

But, how do Vidyas of Tripurasundari
and Vidyas of Guhyakali integrate?

Now you have to go and see 2 temples.
Vishwarupa renovation completed or not

I do not know.If Shleshmantak
Vishwarup renovation is complete

There if you go and see In front of it
is Vishwarup murti of Mata Guhyashwari.

In front of her
Sri Yantra is placed.

If you go and see in Lukanthali
you will see the same there

There is idol of Guhyashwari
in front of it, Sri Yantra is placed

It is not because Guhyashwari doesn't
have her own Yantra.

But those two are integrated.
So, they are placed like that.

Where is integration happening?
Now we have to go to Kubjika Vidya.

At last till we know Kubjika Vidya, till
then we won't understand Tantra Parampara of Nepal

In the Kubjika Parampara in the left hand
of Kubjika, the astra Vidya present there

that we call Chanda kapali
Kalasankarshini Vidya

and in her right hand is Kameshwari Vidya
which is developed as Tripurasundari Vidya

Now, based on the manuscripts you see
of 16th-18th century

You can't say this is the Tantrik parampara
of Nepal, because

We have in National Archives of Nepal,
weh have from 12th century

various manuscripts, hand written paddhatis
regarding worship of Tripurasundari

Those are the oldest manuscripts of the
entire Bharatavarsha.

So, we do not have question of
when these Vidyas started.

As they are integrated within Kubjika Vidya
from the time there was Kubjika Vidya

these all Vidyas got integrated from that
time

Dhan Shamsher Ji has talked about
Sambhava VIdya

But he talked Sambhava Vidya as Sri Vidya
"Atha Purnavishechanam Shadamnayam

Shambhavam Cha" he discussed.
That Shadamaye Shambhava Vidya

itself means Vidya of Kubjika.

To those who only take "Sri Vidya"
I do not know why he discussed as

"I do not have right in Kubjika vidya
and krama of Guhyakali"

But actually in the parampara where
samasti is done

Integration of Sri Vidya is done
already inside Kubjika Krama

"Shadamnaya Shambhava Vidya"
itself means Kubjika Vidya

And integrating such inside Kubjika Vidya
that tradition is not from today

This started since the Sarvamnaya
krama started.

Another speciality of Nepal
regarding sadhana

Nowadays there is fashion of
in the foreign land, even in India

I will give one Kuta you give me this much
money, after 6 month will give other kuta

Some people don't have any Guru Krama
Now there are so many people

wishing to learn Tantra in foreign that,
for those who commercialize

I haven't sold any Vidya till now.

Salary which I get as a professor.
I live by that only.

Without any initiation and education
of Vidya also

people are opening market of it
and commercializing it.

What we should think is

Do not say
"There is no Future learning this"

This Tantra Vidya is the
Vidya of our existence

and if you learn it,
in whatever corner of the world you are

you will have a name.
I give guarantee of that.

I'm also an example of that.

Saying that who studies Tantra Vidya
doesn't know anything of modern world

I did PhD in Vedanta also. Saying maybe it
is not enough just studying Tantra.

That Vedanta which says
"The world is illusion"

That Vedanta has all Ashrams.
Tantra is saying this world is real and

in it you should enjoy also.
So why should we not

establish Peethas based on Tantra?
I had this will 2-3 years ago

Let's establish Shakta Peeth in America also
if possible in South America also

and likewise there were 50 peethas
in the Bharatvarsha

What is the dimension of Bharatvarsha?
This entire Bhugola is Bharatavarsha

And why not establish Shakta Peeth
inside the entire Bhugola.

That will came to me when I was
meditating.

Then in Nepal I had will to build a
Murti of Guhyashwari

Now it is nearly completed.

Process of Murti formation is nearly complete

Goddess is 8 feet tall
She has 10 heads and 54 hands

And if Goddess graces, and Gurus give
blessings, if my dear students help

I will take her to America and
establish 1st Peetha there.

We are not decaying.
We are not weak.

Here just like teachers worry
about what to eat

There also is same for the professors.
It is businessmen who earn lot in America.

Other engineers and doctors are one
who earn more.

For the professors of Humanities livelihood
runs well, that much. Nothing more than it.

But Gurus used to tell, when I was young.
"Kaakopi Jivati Chiraye Balim cha Bhunkte"

"Don't work just for living, do and
show something in this life"

One does in own field.
But for we people who live in America

we have house, but that is also of Bank.
We have cars that is also of Bank.

The day when Job is over nothing remains.
We have to comeback wearing a dhoti.

But, what Gurus didn't give me was, they
didn't give me meanness.

We became filled with mental meanness. We
have feelings we can't do it.

When we say "We can do" then there are
people who are ready to help.

One has to go forward saying that
I can do.

My some friends told we can establish
Pashupati in Boston.

Let's make Pashupati Buddha temple.

My students were involved in that.
After they established the temple,

The pratishtha of the temple, who will do
it. You should come Guru, they told.

I went from Sandiago taking a flight and
went there to do Pratistha.

Last year only I did Pratistha there
of Pashupati.

Here you people have understood importance
of it. I don't tell you haven't understood.

But we who are far. We feel more love, of
this country, of this culture, of this parampara.

We didn't come to take a share.
We don't need anything.

We won't take anything from here.
What we can give, please take it.

We came to give. We might not
have ability to give more money.

Because we are scholars. We did sadhana
in Vidya. I taught staying in America for 25 years.

At least I participated in more than 80
conferences.

I published more than 80 papers. More than
5 books I have published from foreign.

I also knew who foreign writers write.
I have never been weak in front of them.

I have never bowed my head in shame.
When I say I'm Tantrik scholar from Nepal,

They look at me very respectfully. And,
read my papers and findings.

Those all papers I have put in website of
Vimarsha Foundation.

Some people told me, what if it is
published in foreign. We are not able to read it.

This is very expensive. It is also true.
For one paper they say 25$ to download.

3000 Rs it costs. So in the Vimarsha site, I have
kept those papers in downloadable format.

If you want to read books written by me
you don't need to pay anything. It's all free.

I studied free education. I didn't have to
pay for education fee in my life.

So I want as much as possible that,
whoever wants to read,

may that person gets to read without
paying anything.

In front of you, as I already told, the
discussion of these Vidyas will keep on happening.

But inside of us we should have feeling
for the discussion of Vidya.

We should have Bhavana first
before the Sadhana.

We should have faith in us.
We should have such awakening

Such light should be there
should have such fire

That fire which can't extinguish our Sankalpa in
adverse situations of Samsara also.

And what is our Sankalpa?
We have worked in various fields.

We have studied and taught various fields.
"These all fields should give money"

This type of poverty how it came in us?
Is reading everything just for sake of 2 Rs?

You need to start adult education here.
Some adults who already lived their livelihood

and now they are adult. They can come to
learn this Tantra Vidya in this Valmiki Vidyapeeth.

You will get it for free.
If not I will pay for it.

How should we protect this Vidya,
this is my only purpose.

This is the only mission of my life.
And what I feel is,

If there is grace from Jagadamba Bhagavati
If there is grace from mother Tripurasundari

We can establish Peethas all over the
world and can study and teach there.

For the 92 Agamas, independent study and
teaching of it, various Shakta peethas

we will establish. I have run alone. If I
get support of you people it is good.

Even if I don't get support. I won't stop
running. One has to die, everyone knows.

I'm in continous journey. For the Tantra
Vidya I have surrendered my life.

And that is the inspiration of you
and the Gurus.
