9 lesson - Saints or Sinners - The Pioneer School

  • 0:00 - 0:03
    Welcome to lesson number
    9 on the pioneer school
  • 0:03 - 0:06
    today we are going to
    talk about repentance
  • 0:05 - 0:08
    and I am going to
    provoke you and help to
  • 0:08 - 0:11
    take your glasses off
    when it comes to this
  • 0:11 - 0:14
    because I want to ask
    you a question we as
  • 0:14 - 0:18
    Christians should we
    look at ourselves as
  • 0:18 - 0:22
sinners saved by grace or saints?
    And this
  • 0:22 - 0:26
    is really important and
    the way we look at
  • 0:26 - 0:30
    ourselves often hasn’t
    anything to do with
  • 0:30 - 0:32
the bible but has to do
    with the glasses and
  • 0:32 - 0:35
    our background and today
    I’m going to help you
  • 0:35 - 0:37
    to take the glasses off
    help you to understand
  • 0:37 - 0:41
    that Jesus did not
come to save us in our
  • 0:41 - 0:45
    sins but he came to
    save us from our sins
  • 0:45 - 0:49
    and I believe this teaching
    is really important
  • 0:49 - 0:51
in going to help you to
    come into the freedom
  • 0:51 - 0:55
we have in Christ so we
    can live the life we
  • 0:55 - 0:58
    read in the book of
    Acts so God bless you.
  • 1:42 - 1:44
    Welcome to this teaching
    this is teaching
  • 1:44 - 1:47
number 9 out of the 20
    lessons on the pioneer
  • 1:47 - 1:49
    school and again I love
    what God is doing,
  • 1:49 - 1:53
God is doing God is doing
    amazing things and
  • 1:53 - 1:56
    the last two times I
    spoke about what you
  • 1:56 - 1:59
need to do to get saved I
    spoke about repentance
  • 1:59 - 2:01
    baptism in water and
    the Holy Spirit and I
  • 2:01 - 2:05
got a lot of response out
    of it there an older
  • 2:05 - 2:08
    lady who wrote to me
    from our city who is
  • 2:08 - 2:11
    at the bible school
    I’ve not seen her yet
  • 2:11 - 2:14
    but she wrote to me
    that her whole life she
  • 2:14 - 2:18
    had thought this she was
    saved by her baptism
  • 2:18 - 2:21
    as an infant but after
    she had seen this video
  • 2:21 - 2:25
    she want to get baptised
    so after this teaching
  • 2:25 - 2:28
    I’m going to her to
    baptise her so a lot
  • 2:28 - 2:32
    of things is happening
    during these lessons
  • 2:32 - 2:35
and I love it, I love
    what God is doing and
  • 2:35 - 2:38
    today is going to be
    really interesting and I
  • 2:38 - 2:42
    am going to help you
    also today to get the
  • 2:42 - 2:45
    glasses get off you
    the religious glasses
  • 2:45 - 2:48
and what I am going to
    talk about today is
  • 2:47 - 2:51
    repentance and I am going
    to a little different
  • 2:51 - 2:55
    way than you normally
    hear when we talk about
  • 2:55 - 2:58
    repentance and also what
    you see in this bible
  • 2:58 - 3:01
    school I only try to
    get the glasses off so
  • 3:02 - 3:05
    you can by your own
    with the Holy Spirit
  • 3:05 - 3:08
    study the word of God
    and experience how the
  • 3:08 - 3:10
    word is setting you
    free so I’m not going
  • 3:10 - 3:13
    to give you the answer
    in everything ‘I’m
  • 3:12 - 3:16
    just going to give you
    the big picture to
  • 3:16 - 3:19
    help you to understand
    the different
  • 3:20 - 3:22
things in the word of God.
    And
  • 3:22 - 3:24
    today I’m going to
    provoke you a lot
  • 3:23 - 3:27
    I am going to say
    something where you are
  • 3:27 - 3:30
going to say ‘wow what is this?
    But remember
  • 3:30 - 3:32
what do we build on? Do we
  • 3:32 - 3:34
    build on our traditions
  • 3:34 - 3:37
or on the word of God
    but before I am going
  • 3:38 - 3:41
    to take this teaching
    today and continue with
  • 3:41 - 3:43
    some of the things we
    talked about last time
  • 3:44 - 3:47
    I’m going to share some
    testimonies l love
  • 3:47 - 3:50
    sharing testimonies of
    what God is doing and
  • 3:50 - 3:53
    if you remember last
    time I spoke about how
  • 3:53 - 3:57
    we share the gospel
    and I was sitting here
  • 3:58 - 4:01
with this table and I was
    showing how to share
  • 4:01 - 4:05
    the gospel and it’s
    like God wants people
  • 4:05 - 4:08
    all over the world to
    repent he has commanded
  • 4:09 - 4:12
    people to repent our
    job as disciples is to
  • 4:12 - 4:16
    show them what it is
    all about to give them
  • 4:16 - 4:19
    the clear gospel so they
    know what they need
  • 4:19 - 4:23
to do because as I show
    you last time if they
  • 4:23 - 4:26
    do what they are supposed
    to do God is going
  • 4:27 - 4:30
    to move next time if
    they repent he is going
  • 4:30 - 4:33
to give them a new heart
    if they get baptised
  • 4:33 - 4:35
    in water he is going
    to set them free from
  • 4:35 - 4:37
    their sins when we lay
    our hands on people
  • 4:37 - 4:40
    and obey the word of
    God they are going to
  • 4:40 - 4:42
    receive the Holy Spirit
    and I show you last
  • 4:43 - 4:46
time how I did it and
I want to say this is
  • 4:46 - 4:50
    like everything else
    it must not end just
  • 4:51 - 4:54
    with theology if you
    get theology out of my
  • 4:54 - 4:58
    teaching you have failed
    and I have failed
  • 4:59 - 5:03
    in teaching you because
    we need more than
  • 5:03 - 5:06
    theology we need to get
    it into practice and
  • 5:06 - 5:10
    for me when I started
    this with sharing the
  • 5:10 - 5:13
    gospel and the way I
    do it in the beginning
  • 5:15 - 5:17
it was new for me also
    everything I’m teaching
  • 5:17 - 5:19
is new for me because I
    have to take my glasses
  • 5:20 - 5:23
    off myself but when God
    start to help me and
  • 5:23 - 5:27
    set me free I started
to walk in it and the
  • 5:29 - 5:32
more I walked in it the
    stronger it became
  • 5:32 - 5:36
    and often did I see
    things happen and since
  • 5:36 - 5:39
    last time the last week
    I do this teaching
  • 5:39 - 5:43
    every week, since last
    week I’ve seen two
  • 5:42 - 5:46
    people saved when I
    did the same with the
  • 5:46 - 5:49
    coffee table one was
    like four days ago there
  • 5:50 - 5:54
was a guy who seen a video
to me and he wrote to
  • 5:54 - 5:57
    me 17years old his parents
    is from a religious
  • 6:00 - 6:03
    home but he doesn’t
    come anymore and he had
  • 6:03 - 6:06
    not really experienced
    God and salvation
  • 6:07 - 6:10
and he wrote to me and
    we met at a coffee
  • 6:10 - 6:14
    shop down in the city
where I am and we were
  • 6:14 - 6:17
    sitting there we were
    drinking coffee and
  • 6:17 - 6:21
    I start to talk about
    Jesus and I ask him
  • 6:20 - 6:22
I if he had met God
    and he hadn’t and I
  • 6:22 - 6:24
    talked with him about
    the gospel so after
  • 6:24 - 6:28
    we drank coffee I did
    the same like I showed
  • 6:28 - 6:31
    you just in a coffee
    shop and when we have
  • 6:32 - 6:36
    done that he saw that
    what he needed to do
  • 6:36 - 6:39
    he saw that he needed
    to repent get baptised
  • 6:39 - 6:42
    and receive the Holy
    Spirit so we did, after
  • 6:42 - 6:46
that we went to a place
    where I could pray
  • 6:46 - 6:48
    for him but we were
in the city so I need
  • 6:48 - 6:50
    to find a place where
    we could be alone so
  • 6:51 - 6:55
    we find a parking garage
    where we went down
  • 6:55 - 6:58
    in the basement and there
    were no cars there
  • 6:59 - 7:01
    so we could be alone
    no people no cars, so
  • 7:01 - 7:03
    down there in the
    basement in the parking
  • 7:03 - 7:06
    garage in the middle of
    the city I prayed for
  • 7:06 - 7:08
    him he repented, he
    experienced the Holy
  • 7:08 - 7:11
    Spirit he got baptised
    with the Holy Spirit
  • 7:11 - 7:14
    he started to speak
    in tongues and he was
  • 7:14 - 7:18
    on fire afterward we
    went up again went to
  • 7:18 - 7:21
    the city went out find
    some sick people and
  • 7:22 - 7:24
he prayed for a woman who
    got healed he prayed
  • 7:24 - 7:26
    for a woman more got
    healed and there was
  • 7:26 - 7:28
    one from Greenland who
    could not move their
  • 7:28 - 7:30
    arm without pain and
    she got healed and her
  • 7:31 - 7:33
    husband came and another
    came and she was
  • 7:33 - 7:35
    standing and talking
    to them and explaining
  • 7:35 - 7:37
    what was happening and
    suddenly there were a
  • 7:37 - 7:40
    lot of people there and
    it was him who did
  • 7:40 - 7:42
    it, he prayed for them
    afterwards I have to
  • 7:42 - 7:44
    go to another place so
    I drive him to some
  • 7:45 - 7:47
    friends and he went out
    in the sea in Denmark
  • 7:47 - 7:50
    and got baptised in
    water and it was really
  • 7:50 - 7:53
    cold but he got baptised
    in water and this
  • 7:53 - 7:57
    guy was changed and I
    said to him, you are
  • 7:57 - 8:00
    not living for yourself
    anymore you need to
  • 8:00 - 8:03
be bold you need to get
    out to many people
  • 8:03 - 8:06
    so he went home and
    write on face book and
  • 8:06 - 8:09
    I’m just going to read
    some of it this has
  • 8:10 - 8:13
    been the most amazing
day I met a man by the
  • 8:13 - 8:17
    name of Torben and he
    has the website and
  • 8:17 - 8:20
    he has talked about every
    believer can have a
  • 8:20 - 8:22
    life with Jesus like
    the apostle did a life
  • 8:23 - 8:27
    of miracles we started
    to talk and he explained
  • 8:27 - 8:30
to me all about it so
    he could make sure I
  • 8:32 - 8:35
    was getting into and then
    we went to the parking
  • 8:35 - 8:39
    garage and he prayed
    for me and I started
  • 8:38 - 8:41
    to speak in tongues it
    felt so surreal and
  • 8:41 - 8:44
    he continued telling
    about how people got
  • 8:45 - 8:48
    healed and all that
happen in one hour God is
  • 8:48 - 8:51
    great and he continues
    in how he got baptised
  • 8:51 - 8:54
and it was cold but he
    got baptised and then he
  • 8:54 - 8:57
    ended up with the reason
    I write this testimony
  • 8:57 - 9:01
    is that God wants more
    for us than just coming
  • 9:01 - 9:04
    in church and going to
    meetings he wants to
  • 9:06 - 9:09
    give us a life with
    miracles and healing if
  • 9:09 - 9:12
    there is anybody out
    there who wants that
  • 9:12 - 9:16
    please contact me and
    this is what God is
  • 9:16 - 9:19
doing a few days ago I
    met this guy sitting
  • 9:19 - 9:22
    down going through the
    gospel I didn’t pray
  • 9:22 - 9:25
    ask Jesus into your
    heart I pray with him
  • 9:25 - 9:27
    he repented he got
    baptised in water he got
  • 9:27 - 9:29
    baptised with the Holy
    Spirit and he got on
  • 9:30 - 9:34
    fire he went home and
    shared on Facebook this
  • 9:34 - 9:37
    two days later there was
    a girl who contacted
  • 9:40 - 9:43
me who had seen this on
    his Facebook 17 years
  • 9:43 - 9:46
    old also from a religious
    background but live
  • 9:46 - 9:49
    in sin don’t know God
    and many things is
  • 9:49 - 9:51
    new who have never heard
    about speaking in
  • 9:51 - 9:55
    tongues and those things
    so I met with her
  • 9:55 - 9:58
    on burger king so we
    were sitting on burger
  • 9:58 - 10:01
    king we were talking again
    I shared the gospel
  • 10:01 - 10:04
    this time with burger
    paper and cups and things
  • 10:05 - 10:08
    and I shared the gospel
    like I did in the
  • 10:08 - 10:10
    video after I shared the
    gospel she was ready
  • 10:10 - 10:13
to repent so I had to
    find a place where I
  • 10:13 - 10:15
    could pray for her so
    just beside the burger
  • 10:16 - 10:20
    king there was a building
    being built but not
  • 10:20 - 10:23
    finished so we could
    go in that building
  • 10:24 - 10:27
    because it was empty and
    we went in there and
  • 10:27 - 10:29
    I prayed for her the
    Holy Spirit touched
  • 10:30 - 10:33
    her I got a prophetic
    word to her about a
  • 10:33 - 10:36
snake I saw like a snake
    that was crawling
  • 10:36 - 10:40
and it was her life and
    suddenly I saw the
  • 10:40 - 10:43
    snake coming out of the
    ground then it got
  • 10:45 - 10:48
    wings and was flying
    away and how God want
  • 10:48 - 10:50
to set her free and take
    her out of what she
  • 10:50 - 10:53
    had been crawling in and
    when I got that verse
  • 10:53 - 10:56
    she was crying and
    crying and I prayed and
  • 10:57 - 11:00
she got set free from a
    demon there was something
  • 11:00 - 11:02
    that left her and she
    told me afterward that
  • 11:02 - 11:06
    there was a lump coming
    up in her throat and
  • 11:06 - 11:09
then it went out and she
    felt so free so she
  • 11:10 - 11:13
    was changed then we
    went to a shop nearby
  • 11:13 - 11:15
    find a sick person she
    prayed for the first
  • 11:16 - 11:19
    sick person who got
    healed then she invite
  • 11:19 - 11:21
me to her house I went
    there I prayed for
  • 11:22 - 11:25
    her mother who got healed
    I prayed for one more
  • 11:25 - 11:27
    who experienced something
    and I was sitting
  • 11:27 - 11:30
    with the family, the
    mother invited me back
  • 11:30 - 11:32
    again because they
    want to hear more then
  • 11:32 - 11:35
I took her to some friends
    I know who have a
  • 11:35 - 11:37
    bathtub and I asked them
    if we could baptise
  • 11:37 - 11:40
    her there because it was
    really cold that day
  • 11:40 - 11:42
    also and we did that
    so she got baptised
  • 11:43 - 11:45
    in the bathtub and when
    she came up she laid
  • 11:45 - 11:47
    her hands on her and
    she got baptised with
  • 11:47 - 11:50
    the Holy Spirit and she
    started to speak in
  • 11:50 - 11:52
    tongues and she was
    totally changed what I
  • 11:53 - 11:57
    tell you here is should
    be everyday life this is
  • 11:57 - 12:00
what he has called us to
    those two testimonies
  • 12:02 - 12:05
I have I can share from
    the last week just in
  • 12:05 - 12:08
my life I have a friend
    tommy he also have
  • 12:08 - 12:11
    seen one of those saved
    and baptised and this
  • 12:11 - 12:14
    is happening all around
    now if we share the
  • 12:15 - 12:18
gospel that way and get people
  • 12:18 - 12:21
to move God is going to move.
  • 12:21 - 12:25
    And what happened with
    this girl was Monday
  • 12:25 - 12:28
    and Monday was a rainy
    day in Denmark it was
  • 12:28 - 12:32
    raining it was grey and
    you know everybody say
  • 12:32 - 12:35
    they hate Mondays it
    was a Monday raining
  • 12:38 - 12:42
    grey day but the power
    of God was there she
  • 12:42 - 12:45
    got saved she, she prayed
    for people who got
  • 12:46 - 12:48
    healed she got baptised
    in water and when
  • 12:48 - 12:50
    we hands on her she
    got baptised with the
  • 12:50 - 12:54
    Holy Spirit and she spoke
    in tongues and one
  • 12:54 - 12:57
of the times was in the
    shopping mall in a
  • 13:01 - 13:05
    basement in parking
garage in a café in a
  • 13:05 - 13:08
    burger king it’s out
    there where people
  • 13:08 - 13:11
are so this is what God
    is doing and I love
  • 13:11 - 13:13
    this testimony and
    those people are so on
  • 13:13 - 13:16
    fire so when she got
    saved I called him and
  • 13:16 - 13:18
    said I’m just together
    with her and she
  • 13:19 - 13:21
    has just got saved has
    the Holy Spirit and
  • 13:21 - 13:23
    is speaking in tongues
    and baptised and he
  • 13:23 - 13:26
    was like ‘wow and he
was so happy and it is
  • 13:26 - 13:29
    not like they are close
    friends they have
  • 13:29 - 13:33
    just seen each other
    before and are friends
  • 13:33 - 13:36
on face book so he met
    God and he was bold
  • 13:37 - 13:40
    and somebody read it on
    Facebook and because
  • 13:40 - 13:42
    of that, now I’m getting
    invited back to
  • 13:43 - 13:45
    the whole family because
    they want to hear
  • 13:45 - 13:47
    the gospel every day
    everybody they want to
  • 13:47 - 13:50
hear more. So I love the
    testimony I also got
  • 13:50 - 13:53
    a letter I like that,
    this is a testimony
  • 13:53 - 13:56
    from Victoria in Canada
    where we have just
  • 13:56 - 13:58
    been and I had just
    made a new video from
  • 13:59 - 14:01
    the trip of Canada
    where you see a little
  • 14:01 - 14:03
    from each place we’ve
    been and this one
  • 14:04 - 14:07
    she wrote here I wanted
    to send a report from
  • 14:07 - 14:10
    Victoria of what
    happened to my son after
  • 14:11 - 14:15
    you prayed for his
    allergy I amazed because
  • 14:15 - 14:18
    he has been completely
    healed his sister also
  • 14:19 - 14:22
    had some allergies and
    was also prayed for
  • 14:22 - 14:25
    and she also had been
    healed as well this
  • 14:25 - 14:28
    is amazing because for
    six years we have not
  • 14:28 - 14:31
    been able to take the
    family to a birthday
  • 14:32 - 14:36
    party a dinner with friends
    house a restaurant
  • 14:36 - 14:39
    everywhere with food
    unless we bought special
  • 14:40 - 14:44
    food for them this has
    really changed so much
  • 14:44 - 14:47
in how we are able to
    live our life so many
  • 14:50 - 14:54
    people are shocked to
    hear that they have
  • 14:54 - 14:57
    been healed love it,
    testimony from Victoria
  • 14:58 - 15:02
what God is doing. Ok so again
  • 15:02 - 15:05
don’t make theology out of my
  • 15:06 - 15:10
    teaching out of the word
    of God take the word
  • 15:10 - 15:13
of God and act on it do
    it and then you will
  • 15:15 - 15:18
    bear fruit, then you
    will bear much fruit
  • 15:18 - 15:21
yes now I want to pray
    lets pray for today
  • 15:22 - 15:25
    and this work because this
    is a really important
  • 15:25 - 15:27
    word and it’s going
    to for many people go
  • 15:27 - 15:30
    against their religious
    glasses and it’s
  • 15:30 - 15:32
    going to be like
    ‘what’ and this is the
  • 15:32 - 15:35
    foundation because I’m
    going to talk about
  • 15:35 - 15:37
    repentance and this is
    so important this is
  • 15:37 - 15:40
    the foundation so we
    need to understand what
  • 15:40 - 15:42
    the word is saying there
    God I thank you for
  • 15:43 - 15:45
    this day, I thank you
    for everything you are
  • 15:45 - 15:47
    doing I thank you for
    the two people I just
  • 15:47 - 15:49
    told their testimony
    about who got saved,
  • 15:49 - 15:51
    baptised in water and
    the Holy Spirit who
  • 15:52 - 15:55
are on fire for you right
    now God, God thank
  • 15:55 - 15:57
    you because we are
    going to see thousands
  • 15:57 - 16:01
    of people God in everyday
    life get saved God
  • 16:01 - 16:04
    burger king or malls in
    the city or the work
  • 16:05 - 16:07
    place yes God people are
    going to get saved and
  • 16:07 - 16:09
    I pray that you are
    going to help me today
  • 16:09 - 16:12
    to share this word and
    this word is going
  • 16:12 - 16:14
    to help to open their
    eyes it’s going to
  • 16:15 - 16:18
set us free so we can
    live the life you have
  • 16:18 - 16:20
for us so come with your
    Holy Spirit and help
  • 16:20 - 16:27
me to share the word in
    the name of Jesus. Amen
  • 16:27 - 16:30
I want to ask you a question
    you are a Christian
  • 16:30 - 16:32
    I believe that I am
    talking to you now as
  • 16:33 - 16:37
    a Christian do you look
    at yourself as a saint?
  • 16:37 - 16:40
    Are we saints as Christians?
    Or are we sinners?
  • 16:46 - 16:48
How do you look at the Christians?
    How do
  • 16:48 - 16:50
you look at your own life?
    Are you a saint?
  • 16:51 - 16:55
    Or a sinner? Are we
    saints or are we sinners?
  • 16:55 - 16:58
    And this is really
    important that we have
  • 17:00 - 17:03
    the right answer for
    this and I have been
  • 17:03 - 17:06
    surprised when I’ve
    been looking at this
  • 17:06 - 17:08
    how much we have been
  • 17:08 - 17:10
    influenced by our traditions
  • 17:10 - 17:13
    our glasses because if I
    in Denmark ask people
  • 17:23 - 17:26
    if they are saints or
    if they are sinners?
  • 17:26 - 17:29
    And we are talking about
    asking Christians
  • 17:28 - 17:32
    in the church almost
    everybody in Denmark
  • 17:32 - 17:35
    will say ‘we are
    sinners!’ Sinners saved
  • 17:36 - 17:40
    by grace! Almost none
    in Denmark will say
  • 17:40 - 17:43
    we are saints because
    we are like ‘saints!
  • 17:47 - 17:51
No, no, are you without sin?
    Who do you think
  • 17:51 - 17:54
we are and you are? And
    it is almost as if
  • 17:54 - 17:57
there is a fear when we
    talk about the whole
  • 17:57 - 18:01
part of being a saint no,
    we are sinners saved
  • 18:01 - 18:05
    by grace we are sinners
    every one of us. And
  • 18:05 - 18:08
    I had some real discussion
    with people about
  • 18:09 - 18:12
    this and for me one
    thing that helped me to
  • 18:12 - 18:16
    take my glasses off is
    to travel and to know
  • 18:18 - 18:20
    other people from other
    places in the world
  • 18:20 - 18:22
    I have my friend don
    from America working
  • 18:23 - 18:26
    with the last reformation
in USA and for me to
  • 18:26 - 18:30
    talk with him is so
    interesting I am learning
  • 18:31 - 18:34
a lot from him and he
    is learning a lot from
  • 18:34 - 18:37
    me because this is two
    world views that is
  • 18:37 - 18:41
    coming together and
    when I called him and
  • 18:41 - 18:44
    said don are we saints
    or are we sinners?
  • 18:45 - 18:48
    He said we are saints,
    of course we are saints,
  • 18:48 - 18:51
    we were sinners but we
    got saved now we are
  • 18:51 - 18:55
    saints and where he is
    living and in his area
  • 18:55 - 18:58
    and in the churches he
    work with use the word
  • 19:02 - 19:05
saints and in a big part of
    America use the word saints.
  • 19:05 - 19:08
    There are other places again
  • 19:08 - 19:11
    in other churches denominations
  • 19:11 - 19:14
    of course in America
    use sinners.
  • 19:14 - 19:17
But I see a really clear
    pattern when we talk
  • 19:17 - 19:21
    about those words where
    I see that what the
  • 19:24 - 19:28
    catholic church and the
    reformation is strong
  • 19:28 - 19:31
    and in America the
    reformation is the reformed
  • 19:32 - 19:36
    church and the Calvinistic
    and so on, where
  • 19:36 - 19:39
    they are strong each other
    denomination somehow
  • 19:41 - 19:45
    lead to we are sinners
    of course we are sinners
  • 19:45 - 19:48
    but where they are not
    strong where we see
  • 19:48 - 19:51
    like a movement of
    Pentecostal church and
  • 19:51 - 19:53
    other they are more
    free believe no we are
  • 19:54 - 19:58
saints. So I see it’s not
    just being a Baptist
  • 19:58 - 20:01
    or Methodist or Pentecost
    who somehow create
  • 20:07 - 20:11
a view of if we are
    saints or sinners because
  • 20:11 - 20:14
    a Pentecost in Denmark
    with a very strong
  • 20:16 - 20:19
    Lutheran background have
    a different view in
  • 20:19 - 20:23
    a Pentecost in another
    country where they
  • 20:24 - 20:28
    don’t have a Lutheran or
    catholic background so
  • 20:28 - 20:31
    every church is not only
    impacted by themselves
  • 20:33 - 20:36
    everybody’s impacted
    by the reformation the
  • 20:36 - 20:39
    Lutheran church who
    is impacted by the
  • 20:39 - 20:42
catholic church. And it is very
  • 20:42 - 20:44
    interesting when you look at
  • 20:44 - 20:48
    this because for me
    growing up in Denmark if
  • 20:48 - 20:51
    I ask question in
    Denmark everybody would
  • 20:55 - 20:58
    know we are sinners
    we are sinners we are
  • 20:58 - 21:01
    sinners we are sinners
    but then if you go
  • 21:02 - 21:03
out then of the little box
  • 21:03 - 21:05
    here in the Scandinavian
  • 21:05 - 21:08
    country in the north
    Europe for example and
  • 21:08 - 21:12
go out, out of this box
    and go to other places
  • 21:12 - 21:15
    they are without these
    glasses, maybe they
  • 21:15 - 21:18
    have other glasses
    maybe they don’t but
  • 21:18 - 21:21
    they say no, no, no,
    no, no we are saints
  • 21:22 - 21:26
so I want to say that
    everybody around you
  • 21:26 - 21:29
    believe in one thing
    don’t make it right
  • 21:32 - 21:35
    because everybody around
    you can be wrong because
  • 21:35 - 21:38
    they are building on
    the wrong foundation
  • 21:38 - 21:40
    the catholic church the
    Lutheran church instead
  • 21:40 - 21:42
    of what the word is
    saying and we are going
  • 21:42 - 21:46
    to look at the word
    very soon in Denmark,
  • 21:46 - 21:49
    there are people in
    Denmark who are like no
  • 21:50 - 21:53
    we are sinners, every
    Christian is like we
  • 21:53 - 21:56
    are sinners and to say
    we are saints is like
  • 21:56 - 21:59
no’ this is too holy it’s too
  • 21:59 - 22:01
much to say you are a saint.
  • 22:01 - 22:05
    And I thought do people
    in America say like
  • 22:05 - 22:08
    hey we are saints
    because they don’t know
  • 22:10 - 22:13
    what the word is all
    about for example in
  • 22:13 - 22:16
Denmark I say I love you
    in Denmark if I say
  • 22:16 - 22:19
    it in Danish I’m now
    going to learn you
  • 22:19 - 22:21
    some Danish words I
    love you in Danish is
  • 22:22 - 22:25
    yi elskidie and for me
    if I say to somebody
  • 22:25 - 22:29
    in Danish I love you
    yi el skedai this is
  • 22:34 - 22:37
    a little hard because you
    really mean it so you
  • 22:37 - 22:41
    don’t just go and use
    the word to somebody
  • 22:41 - 22:45
    yea but we in Denmark
    is very fast to use
  • 22:45 - 22:48
    the English expression,
    word ‘I love you’
  • 22:48 - 22:52
    ‘I love you too’ but
    us as a Danish person
  • 22:52 - 22:55
it is easier to say I
    love you in English
  • 22:57 - 22:59
    than it is in Danish
    because it is just a
  • 22:59 - 23:02
    word, we have seen in
    TV we have heard it
  • 23:02 - 23:05
    in songs in music
everybody o I love you we
  • 23:05 - 23:08
    just use the words and
    maybe it’s like that
  • 23:09 - 23:11
    with ‘saints’ I started
    to think about that
  • 23:11 - 23:14
    maybe it’s that people
    in America just
  • 23:14 - 23:17
    hey we are saints they
    just use it ‘yes he
  • 23:17 - 23:20
is a saint’ but if you
    go to people with
  • 23:20 - 23:24
    a catholic background ‘like
    saints’ no no saints?
  • 23:24 - 23:27
To become a saint the pope have
  • 23:27 - 23:31
to make you a saint a
    saint is only a few
  • 23:31 - 23:34
    people who is something
    special and this is
  • 23:38 - 23:42
    so interesting if we
    look at two things the
  • 23:42 - 23:45
    word has been changed
    like if we take the
  • 23:46 - 23:49
    word Christian everybody
    uses the word Christian
  • 23:49 - 23:51
    today but if we know
    that the word Christian
  • 23:51 - 23:54
    means comes from the
    word little Christ if
  • 23:54 - 23:57
    we look like Jesus
    Christ maybe people will
  • 23:58 - 24:01
    not just use the word.
    But what is a saint?
  • 24:01 - 24:05
    A saint the bible says
    also holy people are
  • 24:09 - 24:13
you holy? Or are you a
    sinner and I want to
  • 24:13 - 24:16
    use the word holy now
    instead because for
  • 24:17 - 24:20
    you now who live in
    America the word saint
  • 24:20 - 24:23
    has been misused and
    that’s why I used the
  • 24:23 - 24:26
    word holy people and
    sinners but the question
  • 24:26 - 24:30
now what are we? What are you?
    Are you a holy
  • 24:32 - 24:36
person? Or are you a sinner?
    Let’s see what the
  • 24:36 - 24:39
    bible says about it if
    I look at the bible
  • 24:42 - 24:44
    and the bible says the
    saints are holy people
  • 24:44 - 24:47
    you can find for example
    in the book of acts
  • 24:47 - 24:51
    in two places we read
    that your holy people
  • 24:51 - 24:54
    in Jerusalem so the book
    of acts this is Luke
  • 24:55 - 24:56
who wrote the book of acts
  • 24:56 - 24:58
    and about the Christians
  • 24:58 - 25:02
    the disciples he use
    the word holy people
  • 25:01 - 25:05
    another place in the
    same chapter the holy
  • 25:05 - 25:08
    ones who live in Luther
    so here we see Luke
  • 25:09 - 25:12
    who wrote the book of
    acts is using the word
  • 25:12 - 25:15
    saints or holy people
    about the Christians
  • 25:16 - 25:19
    but what about the
    rest of the bible? Was
  • 25:19 - 25:22
    it only in the book
    of acts no it’s not
  • 25:22 - 25:26
    and you are going to
    see now almost every
  • 25:26 - 25:29
    letter in the book in
    the bible starts with
  • 25:29 - 25:33
and we are going to see
    three letters we have
  • 25:33 - 25:36
    here Ephesians to Gods
    holy people in Ephesus,
  • 25:37 - 25:41
    Philippians, to all Gods
    holy people in Christ
  • 25:41 - 25:44
    Jesus in Philippi,
    Colossians to Gods holy
  • 25:45 - 25:48
    people in colossi, so
    here we read that Paul
  • 25:48 - 25:52
    is starting his letters
    to the holy people
  • 25:55 - 25:59
    in this city to the
    holy people in this to
  • 25:59 - 26:02
    the holy people in this,
    what is interesting
  • 26:03 - 26:06
is if you go to the book
    of acts and through
  • 26:06 - 26:10
    the bible the new
    testament you will always
  • 26:11 - 26:15
    see that they called the
    Christians holy people
  • 26:15 - 26:18
    the saints the holy
    people there the holy
  • 26:22 - 26:25
    people there the holy
    people the holy people
  • 26:25 - 26:27
    the holy people, if
you go to the book of
  • 26:28 - 26:32
    acts bible new testament
    and see how many
  • 26:32 - 26:35
    places the Christians the
    disciples God called
  • 26:37 - 26:40
    the holy people you will
    see it so many times
  • 26:40 - 26:44
    I’ve counted about 43
    44 times in the bible
  • 26:48 - 26:51
    you see that they were
    called the holy people
  • 26:51 - 26:55
    the saints for over
    40 times you see that
  • 26:57 - 27:01
    do you know how many
    times in the bible the
  • 27:01 - 27:02
    Christians was called sinners?
  • 27:02 - 27:04
    None! The Christians
  • 27:10 - 27:14
    were never called a sinner
    in the bible never,
  • 27:14 - 27:17
    never, never, never!
    And again do we have
  • 27:22 - 27:25
    many churches many minds
    that’s today where
  • 27:25 - 27:29
    we think is holy to
    call ourselves sinners,
  • 27:30 - 27:34
    we are sinners saved
by grace and if I look
  • 27:34 - 27:37
    in a country like
    Denmark and Scandinavia
  • 27:38 - 27:41
    country where I have
    grown up if I said
  • 27:41 - 27:45
    to people we are a
    holy people ‘o’ no oo
  • 27:45 - 27:48
it is almost a sin to
    call yourself a holy
  • 27:48 - 27:52
    people because we are
    sinners, sinners, sinners
  • 27:54 - 27:58
and this is so much a
part of our mind set in
  • 27:58 - 28:01
    Denmark no matter if it
    is a Baptist Methodist
  • 28:05 - 28:09
    Pentecostal no matter
    what denomination in
  • 28:09 - 28:12
    Denmark we think we
    are sinners, sinners,
  • 28:13 - 28:16
    sinners, sinners, also
    after we got saved why
  • 28:16 - 28:20
    do we think that? Because
    every denomination
  • 28:21 - 28:24
    in Denmark and also
    where you are living is
  • 28:24 - 28:27
    building on the same
    foundation the foundation
  • 28:27 - 28:31
    is the catholic church
    and the Lutheran church
  • 28:31 - 28:34
    because it was where this
    came in we are sinners
  • 28:38 - 28:41
    we are sinners we are
    sinners and there is
  • 28:41 - 28:44
    one truth in that the
    truth is that people
  • 28:44 - 28:48
    are sinners and need
    salvation but when you
  • 28:48 - 28:51
    repent when you get
    saved you are not any
  • 28:57 - 29:00
more a sinner. Because a new
  • 29:00 - 29:04
life has started inside of you
  • 29:05 - 29:07
but to be honest I believe
    and you are going
  • 29:07 - 29:10
    to see that today and
    next time the problem
  • 29:10 - 29:13
    here is that they
    didn’t see the new life
  • 29:13 - 29:17
    started people continued
    being sinners also
  • 29:18 - 29:20
    after they got saved because
  • 29:20 - 29:22
    they do not understand
  • 29:22 - 29:25
    the true gospel so if
you go to the book of
  • 29:27 - 29:30
    acts to the first
    Christians and say hello
  • 29:30 - 29:33
    I’m a sinner they will
    share the word with
  • 29:34 - 29:37
    you and want you to
    repent and get saved if
  • 29:37 - 29:39
you then say you are a
    saved sinner they will
  • 29:39 - 29:43
look at you like are you crazy?
    You cannot
  • 29:43 - 29:46
    be a saved sinner
    because to get saved is
  • 29:48 - 29:50
to get rid of your sin.
    So you are
  • 29:50 - 29:53
    not a sinner anymore
    we read about
  • 29:54 - 29:57
    saved from what save
    from our sin Jesus is
  • 29:57 - 30:01
    called Jesus and he
    saved his people from
  • 30:02 - 30:05
    their sin, he should
    not save them in their
  • 30:05 - 30:09
    sins he should save
    them from their sin if
  • 30:12 - 30:16
we think we are saved in
    our sin we can continue
  • 30:16 - 30:19
    being sinners and being
    saved sinners and
  • 30:19 - 30:22
    this is a mind-set
    that is just wrong you
  • 30:22 - 30:24
    don’t find that in the
    word of God no we
  • 30:25 - 30:29
    are saved from our sin
    so we were sinners but
  • 30:29 - 30:32
    now we are holy people
    I want to say that
  • 30:34 - 30:38
    holy people don’t mean
    perfect in any way
  • 30:38 - 30:41
    so we don’t, are not
    able to experience
  • 30:43 - 30:47
    that we fall in sin
    people can be holy people
  • 30:47 - 30:50
    and still fight, the
    word of God write to
  • 30:50 - 30:52
    the Corinthians and there
    was a lot of problem
  • 30:52 - 30:55
    in that church in
    Corinthians but he still
  • 30:55 - 30:59
    called them the
    holy people So holy
  • 30:59 - 31:02
    is something you
    become the day you
  • 31:02 - 31:06
    get saved and you
    continue and you continue
  • 31:06 - 31:09
    that I’m going to talk
    about that so what
  • 31:10 - 31:14
    you need to know is
    that in the bible you
  • 31:14 - 31:17
    never find the words
    sinners for Christians
  • 31:18 - 31:21
and if that is the truth
    why do you call yourself
  • 31:21 - 31:24
    sinners why do people
    always call themselves
  • 31:25 - 31:28
    sinners? When this is
    not true because we are
  • 31:28 - 31:30
    building on the wrong
    foundation and then
  • 31:31 - 31:34
    maybe you say yes but’
    Paul, Paul, Paul,
  • 31:34 - 31:38
    he called himself a
    sinner and I’ve been
  • 31:39 - 31:42
    sharing this here about
    40 different words
  • 31:42 - 31:46
    in the bible where you
    see places where you
  • 31:45 - 31:48
    see the word ‘holy
    people’ but it’s not
  • 31:48 - 31:52
    like in the bible in
    the church people
  • 31:52 - 31:56
    don’t know all of those
    scriptures the most of
  • 31:56 - 31:59
    them know one this is
    this one Jesus Christ
  • 32:00 - 32:03
    came into the world to
    save sinners of who
  • 32:03 - 32:07
I am the worst Paul is
    saying that this is
  • 32:09 - 32:12
    what we use in Denmark
    if you go to Danish
  • 32:12 - 32:16
    Christians Lutheran
    website and ask question
  • 32:17 - 32:20
    are we sinners or not
    sinners they will say
  • 32:20 - 32:23
    we are sinners and they
    will quote this verse
  • 32:23 - 32:27
    that Jesus Christ came
    to the world to save
  • 32:27 - 32:30
    sinners and of whom I
    am the worst so they
  • 32:32 - 32:35
say that Paul said about himself
  • 32:35 - 32:38
that he is the worst sinner.
  • 32:38 - 32:41
    And somehow it has
    become holy so I meet
  • 32:41 - 32:43
    people like ‘I’m the
    most worst sinner’ no
  • 32:44 - 32:47
no I am more worse than
you are no, no, no, I am.
  • 32:47 - 32:51
    Almost has become
holy to say I am a
  • 32:50 - 32:54
    sinner and people stand
    up in church and ‘I
  • 32:54 - 32:57
    am a sinner’ and somehow
    we make it holy
  • 32:59 - 33:03
    but Paul is not saying
he is a sinner if you
  • 33:03 - 33:06
    look at this Jesus
    Christ came to the world
  • 33:08 - 33:12
    to save sinners he is
    talking about something
  • 33:12 - 33:15
    Jesus not Jesus do right
    now but something
  • 33:15 - 33:19
    he did he came there
    to save sinners and of
  • 33:19 - 33:22
    those people he came to
    save he was the worst
  • 33:27 - 33:30
    why? Because if you see
    the words before he
  • 33:30 - 33:34
    said that he was blaspheming
    he was a violent
  • 33:34 - 33:38
man he was doing a lot
    of crazy things you
  • 33:38 - 33:41
    know Paul he was going
    against the church
  • 33:42 - 33:45
    he was trying to kill
    the Christians so he
  • 33:45 - 33:49
    was a violent man against
    God but God saved
  • 33:53 - 33:56
    him, so when he is
    saying there he was the
  • 33:56 - 33:58
    worst sinner he doesn’t
    say he is it now,
  • 33:59 - 34:02
he said he was it but
he used the word I am
  • 34:02 - 34:06
    because he is talking
    about something at that
  • 34:06 - 34:09
    moment and try to imagine
    it was true that Paul
  • 34:09 - 34:13
    was looking at himself
    as the worst sinner
  • 34:12 - 34:16
    and he thought it was
    holy why did he every
  • 34:16 - 34:19
    time he write a letter
    in the bible write
  • 34:22 - 34:24
    to people and called the
  • 34:24 - 34:26
    Christians the holy people?
  • 34:26 - 34:29
    It seems so crazy
    he calls himself
  • 34:29 - 34:33
    I’m the worst sinner
    and to everybody he
  • 34:33 - 34:36
    met around he called
    them the holy people
  • 34:38 - 34:41
    there but me I’m the
    worst of all sinners
  • 34:41 - 34:43
    can you see it doesn’t
    make any sense and
  • 34:43 - 34:46
    this is what religion
    is and you have seen
  • 34:46 - 34:48
    that through in the
    last teaching we take
  • 34:49 - 34:53
    something that is very
    clear in the word of
  • 34:53 - 34:56
    God holy people holy
    people holy people over
  • 34:56 - 35:00
    forty times it is
    written holy people and
  • 35:00 - 35:03
    then we take one verse
    taken out of context
  • 35:04 - 35:08
    we don’t understand and
    out of that word we
  • 35:08 - 35:11
    build our theology and
    we don’t see what
  • 35:12 - 35:15
the rest of the word is saying
  • 35:15 - 35:17
    because no we are sinners
  • 35:18 - 35:22
    And this is the foundation
    almost every church
  • 35:22 - 35:25
    here is building on we
    are sinners saved by
  • 35:25 - 35:29
    grace can you see it
    and it’s all about the
  • 35:29 - 35:32
    mind set to understand
    who we are in Christ
  • 35:36 - 35:39
and what he has done if
    you go with that mind-set
  • 35:39 - 35:41
    o you are sinners, you
    are sinners you are
  • 35:41 - 35:44
    sinners, I’m a sinner I
    cannot do anything, do
  • 35:44 - 35:46
    you think you are going
    to experience freedom
  • 35:47 - 35:50
no you are not you will
    see yourself a sinner
  • 35:50 - 35:53
    you start to think as
    a sinner and you will
  • 35:53 - 35:54
    live as a sinner.
  • 35:54 - 35:56
New creation But if you know
  • 35:56 - 35:57
that you are a new creation
  • 35:58 - 36:02
    something new has started
    you are going to live
  • 36:02 - 36:05
    that new life and I
    don’t say to everybody
  • 36:05 - 36:07
    receiving this teaching
    that hey now you should
  • 36:07 - 36:09
    just say you are holy
    people because many
  • 36:09 - 36:12
    maybe is sinners because
    you have not repented
  • 36:12 - 36:15
    because you are not
    saved yet, and I want
  • 36:16 - 36:19
    to talk about what
    happens when we repent
  • 36:19 - 36:22
    what happens in our
    life and I don’t want
  • 36:22 - 36:26
to make a lot of theology
    out of it I want
  • 36:26 - 36:29
    to give you a testimony
    of it, but first I
  • 36:30 - 36:33
    want to give you some
    scriptures this is what
  • 36:33 - 36:35
    the word is saying
    when we talk about sin
  • 36:36 - 36:40
    ‘No one who abides in
    him sins no one who
  • 36:40 - 36:43
    sins has seen him and
    knows him’ ‘ouch!
  • 36:51 - 36:55
    This is what the word
    is saying ‘nobody
  • 36:55 - 36:58
    who abides in him’
    sins’ no one who sins,
  • 37:00 - 37:04
    has seen him and knows
    him and remember what
  • 37:04 - 37:07
    Matthew chapter 7; 21
    was saying we talked
  • 37:08 - 37:11
    about before that many
    one day is going to
  • 37:11 - 37:13
    stand in front of Jesus
    and he will say depart
  • 37:13 - 37:17
    from me I never knew
    you’ you who do sin’
  • 37:17 - 37:20
this word this is the word of God.
    And many
  • 37:27 - 37:31
    know other scriptures
    from the word of God
  • 37:31 - 37:34
    but 1.john 3; 6 is of
    course a well-known
  • 37:35 - 37:39
    scripture my question
is john 3; 6 more the
  • 37:39 - 37:42
word of God than this verse?
    No? Is this verse
  • 37:49 - 37:53
    from first Matthew 7;
    21 ‘no’ this is the
  • 37:53 - 37:56
    truth that nobody
    abides in him sins but
  • 38:04 - 38:07
    many have a problem
    with that because
  • 38:07 - 38:10
    ‘no, no, no, no, no’
    ‘hey, relax’ Torben!
  • 38:11 - 38:15
Do you say you don’t sin?
    No, no , no remember
  • 38:15 - 38:18
    john, john 1;9 john 1;8
    and this is what john
  • 38:20 - 38:24
    1;8-9 says ‘if we claim
    to be without sin
  • 38:24 - 38:27
    we deceive ourselves
    and the truth is not
  • 38:28 - 38:32
in us if we confess our
    sin he is faithful
  • 38:32 - 38:35
    and just and will
    forgive us our sins and
  • 38:35 - 38:39
    purify us from all
    unrighteousness I want
  • 38:39 - 38:42
to say this is the word
    of God and this is
  • 38:45 - 38:49
    the word of God religion
    take one verse there
  • 38:49 - 38:52
    and build a whole
theology out of it and if
  • 38:55 - 38:59
    I go to churches today
    almost no Christians
  • 38:59 - 39:02
    know this verse but
    everybody knows this if
  • 39:08 - 39:12
    you were living at that
    time you didn’t have
  • 39:12 - 39:15
    a bible where there was
    chapter and verses
  • 39:16 - 39:20
    no’ you got the whole
    context but today we
  • 39:20 - 39:23
    have chapters and
    verses and because of
  • 39:24 - 39:27
    that many people are
    deceived because they
  • 39:27 - 39:29
say no if you say you
    are without sin the
  • 39:29 - 39:32
truth is not in you we are all
  • 39:32 - 39:34
    sinners we are all sinners.
  • 39:35 - 39:39
    But you also take this
    verse and say but
  • 39:39 - 39:42
    if you sin you don’t
    know him ‘what is the
  • 39:43 - 39:47
    truth? The whole thing
is the truth the word of
  • 39:47 - 39:50
God is the truth, and if
    we take our religious
  • 39:52 - 39:56
    glasses off we will not
    have a problem with
  • 39:56 - 39:59
    the word we will not
need to go and take some
  • 40:00 - 40:03
    scriptures out and put
    it away or just read
  • 40:03 - 40:06
    very fast through it
    like we don’t see it
  • 40:07 - 40:10
    because we have problem
    with it and I want
  • 40:10 - 40:13
    to share a testimony
    from my life because
  • 40:13 - 40:16
    the good thing with my
    life is that when I
  • 40:16 - 40:19
    got saved I didn’t
    have so much religious
  • 40:20 - 40:24
    luggage I don’t have the
    backpack like many other
  • 40:24 - 40:27
    I got saved from a
    non-Christian background
  • 40:27 - 40:30
    I was baptised and firm
    in the Lutheran church
  • 40:30 - 40:32
    but it was just tradition
    I had never opened
  • 40:32 - 40:35
    my bible I didn’t know
    what the word was
  • 40:35 - 40:38
    saying and then I had
    a friend who told me
  • 40:39 - 40:42
    about Jesus and I came
    to a church and there
  • 40:42 - 40:45
    the Holy Spirit touched
me and I went up and
  • 40:45 - 40:48
    I repented and asked
Jesus to save me when I
  • 40:48 - 40:50
    did that I felt like
    the Holy Spirit came
  • 40:51 - 40:54
like a light into me I
fall to the floor I was
  • 40:54 - 40:57
    laying there I really
    met God it was like
  • 40:58 - 41:01
    the Holy Spirit all
over my body it was the
  • 41:01 - 41:03
    fifth of April 1995 I
    remember it like it
  • 41:03 - 41:06
    was yesterday it was
    so strong I remember I
  • 41:06 - 41:08
    stood up again and I
    sat down and somebody
  • 41:09 - 41:11
    said congratulations you
    are born again Torben
  • 41:11 - 41:13
    and I was like thank
    you but I didn’t know
  • 41:13 - 41:16
    what he was talking
    about I had never heard
  • 41:16 - 41:18
    a word like born
    again’ I didn’t know
  • 41:18 - 41:21
    what he was talking about
    but when I went home
  • 41:21 - 41:24
    from that meeting
    something have happened
  • 41:25 - 41:27
inside of me. The first thing
  • 41:27 - 41:29
was I have always afraid of
  • 41:30 - 41:32
dying I went home I said
    to myself Torben you
  • 41:32 - 41:34
    are going to die one
    day and when I said
  • 41:35 - 41:37
    to myself Torben you are
    going to die normally
  • 41:37 - 41:39
    I would begin to panic
    ooo I’m going to
  • 41:39 - 41:41
    die’ oo I’m going to
    die’ and I would be
  • 41:41 - 41:43
    so afraid because I
    don’t like to think
  • 41:43 - 41:46
about it that I am going
    to die one day. but
  • 41:46 - 41:49
    what happened there
    this time when I said
  • 41:50 - 41:53
    to myself ‘Torben you
    are going to die was
  • 41:53 - 41:55
    I was on my bicycle
    and I was like ‘yes’
  • 41:55 - 41:58
I’m going home and I thought
    ‘what is happening?
  • 41:58 - 42:00
I’m not afraid anymore I have
  • 42:01 - 42:05
    got set free from fear
    at that moment I didn’t
  • 42:05 - 42:08
    know at that time that
    Hebrews chapter 2;15
  • 42:09 - 42:13
    was saying that Jesus
    Christ came to deliver
  • 42:13 - 42:16
    them who through fear
    of death were all their
  • 42:18 - 42:22
    lifetime subject to
    bondage but Jesus Christ
  • 42:22 - 42:25
    came to set us free,
    us who were held down
  • 42:26 - 42:30
    in fear and I experienced
    that I didn’t read
  • 42:30 - 42:33
    the word and said to
    my mind ok the word
  • 42:34 - 42:38
    is saying that then I
have to take my mind and
  • 42:38 - 42:41
try to get the fear to
    go ‘no’ I experienced
  • 42:41 - 42:44
it in my spirit, and it
    happened like that what
  • 42:44 - 42:47
    more happened the more
    thing that happened
  • 42:48 - 42:51
    was that I had become
    new I didn’t know about
  • 42:51 - 42:54
    the whole thing but
    something had happened
  • 42:54 - 42:57
    so I came home and
normally I go to a pub
  • 42:57 - 43:00
    on Friday and drink
beer so I went to a pub
  • 43:00 - 43:03
    like Friday like I was
    used to because my
  • 43:03 - 43:05
    mind was still the same
    I came home I looked
  • 43:06 - 43:09
at myself I say born again?
    I look the same?
  • 43:09 - 43:12
For me I looked the same
    I didn’t understand
  • 43:12 - 43:15
    what was happening so
Friday I went to a pub
  • 43:15 - 43:18
    and I went there and
    when I stood there I
  • 43:18 - 43:22
    looked around and suddenly
    my eyes was opened
  • 43:22 - 43:25
and I was like what am I doing here?
    I don’t
  • 43:26 - 43:30
    belong here I have met
    you Jesus ‘no’ and I
  • 43:30 - 43:33
    went away and I was
    like what is happening?
  • 43:34 - 43:38
    I didn’t want that
    anymore normally I was
  • 43:38 - 43:41
    used to swearing and
    used to cuss words and
  • 43:43 - 43:47
    I was having a bad
    language but when I told
  • 43:47 - 43:50
    a lie or misused Gods
name when I did it I
  • 43:50 - 43:53
    was like ‘o it tasted
    so wrong’ Normally
  • 43:53 - 43:56
    I didn’t have a problem with it
  • 43:56 - 43:58
    my whole life I’ve not
    had a problem with
  • 43:58 - 44:00
    it but now something
    had changed inside of
  • 44:01 - 44:04
    me and oo it tasted
    wrong I didn’t want
  • 44:04 - 44:07
    it anymore and then I
    stopped doing that.
  • 44:08 - 44:11
One more thing I had a
    girlfriend and I was
  • 44:11 - 44:13
    used to living in sin
and I went to bed with
  • 44:13 - 44:17
    her like young people
    who is sinners I was
  • 44:17 - 44:20
a sinner I went to bed
    with my girlfriend
  • 44:20 - 44:24
    and this time a
    girlfriend came to me and
  • 44:24 - 44:27
    before she came I had
    been thinking ‘what
  • 44:27 - 44:30
    does the bible say about
    this’ and she came
  • 44:30 - 44:32
    and she want to be
    together with me and I
  • 44:33 - 44:37
    really experienced temptation
    there was something
  • 44:37 - 44:40
    you know sin there was
    something ok, but again
  • 44:42 - 44:45
no, no, no, no I am not
    a part of that anymore
  • 44:45 - 44:47
    I don’t want that but
    I experienced the
  • 44:47 - 44:51
    temptation and I got
    confused because what
  • 44:51 - 44:54
does the word say? So I
    was like God is this
  • 44:54 - 44:57
sin or what? Is it not sin?
    God I want to
  • 44:57 - 45:00
    do what you want, God
is this sin to go to
  • 45:00 - 45:03
    bed with her? and I
    tried to remember what
  • 45:03 - 45:05
    I had learned when I
    got confirmed in the
  • 45:05 - 45:08
    Lutheran church and I
    didn’t learn anything
  • 45:08 - 45:10
    there it was only
    tradition about holy days
  • 45:11 - 45:14
    and tradition in the
    Lutheran church and I
  • 45:14 - 45:16
    was thinking what does
    the word say and to
  • 45:16 - 45:19
    be honest I could not
    say at that time that;
  • 45:19 - 45:21
    the word says this is
    sin’ because I was
  • 45:22 - 45:26
    so new and I didn’t
know the word of God so
  • 45:26 - 45:29
what did I do I was
    ok God are you there?
  • 45:29 - 45:32
    Hello! And the temptation
    was so great so
  • 45:32 - 45:34
I was ‘God are you there?
    And I did like
  • 45:34 - 45:37
this ok, God you are not
    there and I took God
  • 45:37 - 45:40
    and put him aside and
    I went to bed with
  • 45:41 - 45:44
    my girlfriend and this
    time immediately I
  • 45:44 - 45:47
    had been in bed with
her I was like o no’
  • 45:47 - 45:50
o no! O sorry’ ‘God what have I done?
    What have I done?
  • 45:50 - 45:53
    I could just feel inside
  • 45:54 - 45:56
    of me I have sinned.
    I have sinned,
  • 45:56 - 45:57
o God forgive me forgive me
  • 45:58 - 46:01
    God I have just found
    you I don’t want to
  • 46:01 - 46:04
    lose you forgive me
    and my whole body was
  • 46:04 - 46:08
    grieving to God! To
    me I have sinned! And
  • 46:08 - 46:11
it was so clear I had
    sinned, it was wrong,
  • 46:16 - 46:20
in that moment I did it I
knew it was wrong and I
  • 46:20 - 46:23
    knew at that time that
    my friends non-Christian
  • 46:26 - 46:29
    friends if they had been
    there they had said
  • 46:29 - 46:32
    to me common Torben
    relax it is like ‘God
  • 46:33 - 46:36
    is love’ it is love
    everything its ok God
  • 46:36 - 46:39
    is not like that it’s
not sin to go to bed
  • 46:39 - 46:43
    with your girlfriend
    if you love her, they
  • 46:43 - 46:46
    would have said that
    to me but, no person,
  • 46:49 - 46:53
    on earth, could convince
    me of something else
  • 46:53 - 46:56
    because inside of me I
    knew, I knew, I knew
  • 47:03 - 47:07
I had sinned. Why did I know it?
  • 47:07 - 47:10
    Because I repented because
  • 47:12 - 47:16
    repentance is not only
    something we do it is
  • 47:16 - 47:19
    also something God do,
    when we repent from
  • 47:22 - 47:26
    our sins and put our
    trust in Jesus Christ
  • 47:26 - 47:29
for what he did on the
    cross God is going
  • 47:31 - 47:33
to change our life he is
  • 47:33 - 47:35
    going to create something
  • 47:35 - 47:38
    new inside of us and
this is what it is all
  • 47:41 - 47:44
    about the new covenant
    the new covenant Jesus
  • 47:44 - 47:47
    came with those things
    because he want to
  • 47:48 - 47:52
    save us from our sins
    and in the new covenant
  • 47:52 - 47:55
he not only save us in
    our sins he save us
  • 47:57 - 48:01
    from our sins and he
    create a new person you
  • 48:01 - 48:04
    read about that in
    Jeremiah many years before
  • 48:05 - 48:09
    Jesus came there was a
    prophesy that God is
  • 48:09 - 48:12
    going to create a new
    covenant and I will
  • 48:13 - 48:17
    put my law Jeremiah
31;33 and I will put my
  • 48:17 - 48:20
    law within them and in
    their heart and I will
  • 48:23 - 48:26
write it and I will be
    their God and they will
  • 48:27 - 48:30
    be my people so Jeremiah
    many years before
  • 48:33 - 48:36
    Jesus he prophesied that
    one day he is going
  • 48:36 - 48:38
    to create something new
    a new covenant and
  • 48:39 - 48:42
    there God would take the
    stone heart the stone,
  • 48:42 - 48:45
    the ten commandments
    the law on the stones
  • 48:46 - 48:50
and put it in our heart
    he says that here
  • 48:50 - 48:53
    and the same scripture
    you read right here
  • 48:53 - 48:56
in Hebrews 2 in the new
    testament they are
  • 48:56 - 48:59
    quoting so in Hebrews 2
    when they talk about
  • 49:00 - 49:03
    the old covenant and
    the new he is quoting
  • 49:03 - 49:05
    this that the law is
    going to be written in
  • 49:06 - 49:09
our hearts and he will be our
  • 49:09 - 49:11
God and we will be his people.
  • 49:11 - 49:15
This is what it is all
    about and you have
  • 49:15 - 49:18
    the same verse in Ezekiel
    11;19 the prophet
  • 49:23 - 49:27
    also prophesy ‘And I
    will give them one heart
  • 49:27 - 49:30
and I will put a new
    spirit within you
  • 49:32 - 49:36
and I will take the stony
    heart out of their
  • 49:36 - 49:39
flesh, why do God do that?
    Why does God give
  • 49:40 - 49:44
    us a new spirit? Why
    does God take the stone
  • 49:44 - 49:47
    heart out of us? Why
does God give us a new
  • 49:47 - 49:49
    heart of flesh? He said
    and will give them
  • 49:49 - 49:51
    a heart of flesh. That
    they may walk in my
  • 49:51 - 49:55
    statutes, and keep my
    ordinance and to them;
  • 49:55 - 49:58
    and they shall be my
    people, and I will be
  • 50:00 - 50:04
    their God. So this is
    what Jesus did he came
  • 50:04 - 50:07
to save us from our sins, why?
    How? By giving
  • 50:14 - 50:18
    us a new spirit and
    giving us a new heart,
  • 50:18 - 50:21
    he is going to remove
    the stone heart from
  • 50:23 - 50:27
our body and give us a
    heart of flesh he is
  • 50:27 - 50:30
    going to write the
    commandments in our heart
  • 50:31 - 50:35
so we would walk in his
    statutes so we could
  • 50:35 - 50:38
    keep his commandments not
    like ‘go and remember
  • 50:41 - 50:44
    the ten commandments, not
    like go and remember
  • 50:44 - 50:46
    what is wrong what
    not wrong ‘no’ but
  • 50:46 - 50:50
by a new creation and it
    was what I experienced
  • 50:50 - 50:53
    that time many years
    ago I experienced that
  • 50:57 - 51:01
    why? Because the Gospel
    is the power of salvation
  • 51:01 - 51:04
    its more than just
    religious activities.
  • 51:05 - 51:09
    It’s a new body something
    new has started
  • 51:09 - 51:12
    and what happened with
    me I repented ‘God
  • 51:13 - 51:17
    forgive me! Forgive me!
    Forgive me! And at
  • 51:17 - 51:20
    that moment I was new
    and I really need to
  • 51:21 - 51:23
    have God to show me
    that he had forgiven me
  • 51:23 - 51:25
    because I was so new
    in it I didn’t know
  • 51:25 - 51:29
    the whole word was praying
    and I was confused
  • 51:29 - 51:32
so I heard there was a
    church open in another
  • 51:32 - 51:34
    city close by they had
    a meeting that night
  • 51:34 - 51:36
so I jump in the car I
    went there on the way
  • 51:37 - 51:40
    I said God forgive me!
    Forgive me! God
  • 51:40 - 51:42
    next time I’m going to
    be with a girl it’s
  • 51:43 - 51:47
going to be with my wife
    on honeymoon God, help me!
  • 51:47 - 51:50
    God help me, forgive me!
    And then
  • 51:52 - 51:55
    something amazing
    happened because I was
  • 51:55 - 51:57
    at the meeting people
    didn’t know me’ only
  • 51:57 - 52:00
a few people who I had
    seen before and I was
  • 52:00 - 52:02
    at that meeting and
    there was a woman who
  • 52:02 - 52:05
    was standing up in the
    beginning of the meeting
  • 52:05 - 52:07
and she said I have a
    word ‘I see a young
  • 52:08 - 52:11
    standing in front of
    something he should not
  • 52:11 - 52:14
    do he didn’t know I
    was seeing it and he
  • 52:14 - 52:18
took me and put me aside
    and he sinned but
  • 52:18 - 52:21
    he has repented and I
    forgive him right now
  • 52:24 - 52:28
    and I was standing there
    and I was shocked
  • 52:28 - 52:31
    because I was alone
    with my girlfriend and
  • 52:31 - 52:35
    I do like that alone
    because you are never
  • 52:35 - 52:38
    alone God sees everything
    but I thought ‘O’
  • 52:39 - 52:43
God and I put God aside,
    but God saw it and
  • 52:43 - 52:46
    then I went to the
    meeting and she not only
  • 52:50 - 52:54
    said the words she was
    saying she prayed like
  • 52:54 - 52:57
I did at home in my
    apartment and from that
  • 52:59 - 53:02
    moment I have known
    that God see everything
  • 53:02 - 53:04
    and also if we close
    the door and close the
  • 53:04 - 53:07
light he sees everything. And I
  • 53:07 - 53:10
    was standing there
    wow’ God thank
  • 53:11 - 53:14
    you because you forgive me!
    And immediately
  • 53:14 - 53:16
    the Holy Spirit came
and I was like and I
  • 53:16 - 53:20
met God and I was so
    high I could almost fly
  • 53:20 - 53:23
home in my car ‘I am forgiven!
    And I was
  • 53:23 - 53:26
so happy! I was so high
    and I said to God,
  • 53:26 - 53:29
    God next one is going
to be my wife on my
  • 53:30 - 53:33
honeymoon I want to date you now.
    That way
  • 53:33 - 53:35
I want to know you I
    don’t want to focus
  • 53:35 - 53:38
    on girls now I want
to seek you I want to
  • 53:38 - 53:40
    know you and you have
    to find a woman for
  • 53:41 - 53:44
    me and I prayed that
    three months later I
  • 53:44 - 53:46
    was to a big Christian
    concert in another
  • 53:47 - 53:50
    end of Denmark with
    another 500 people and I
  • 53:50 - 53:52
    was standing there
    worshiping God and suddenly
  • 53:52 - 53:54
    God spoke to me I’ve
    not been thinking of
  • 53:54 - 53:56
    girls, the last month
    because my focus was
  • 53:57 - 54:00
    God and there God spoke
    to me and said Torben,
  • 54:00 - 54:02
    the one who is standing
    behind you she is
  • 54:02 - 54:03
going to be your wife someday,
  • 54:03 - 54:05
    and I was like ‘what?
  • 54:05 - 54:07
    And then I turned
    around and like
  • 54:08 - 54:11
wow’ I saw a girl behind
    me and I was like
  • 54:11 - 54:13
    this is my wife! This
is my wife and I turn
  • 54:13 - 54:16
    around again and I was
    like wow and I just
  • 54:16 - 54:19
    knew my wife was
    standing behind me. Like
  • 54:20 - 54:23
    seven rows down and
when I saw that I knew
  • 54:23 - 54:26
    it, this concert was
    over it was like the
  • 54:26 - 54:28
last song and I had to
    hurry home and I was
  • 54:28 - 54:30
    driving with a friend
    who was waiting for
  • 54:30 - 54:33
me so I did only like
smile to her as she was
  • 54:33 - 54:36
    standing a distance I
    only smiled to her
  • 54:37 - 54:39
and then I jump in the
    car and went home and
  • 54:39 - 54:41
    I said to my friend
    on my way home hey’
  • 54:41 - 54:43
    Michael I’ve just met
    my wife’ I don’t
  • 54:43 - 54:45
    know her name, I don’t
    know where she is
  • 54:46 - 54:48
    from ‘I don’t know
    anything about her but
  • 54:48 - 54:50
    God had told me the
    one who standing with
  • 54:50 - 54:54
    that yellow dress is going
    to be my wife someday.
  • 54:54 - 54:57
I just knew it and I
    came home and said God
  • 54:57 - 54:59
    I don’t know where she
    is from in Denmark
  • 54:59 - 55:00
but you have to put us
    together again three
  • 55:00 - 55:03
    months later I saw her
    like ‘hello and I get
  • 55:03 - 55:06
    to know her I talked
    with her and we got
  • 55:06 - 55:10
    married and three days
    ago we have been married
  • 55:10 - 55:13
17 years and have 3 children.
    And I have learned
  • 55:14 - 55:18
    that when we repent
    from our ways from our
  • 55:18 - 55:21
    sins God has something
    much better for us
  • 55:22 - 55:26
    my wife is so amazing
she is so holy she has
  • 55:26 - 55:29
    grown up in a Christian
    family she had never
  • 55:29 - 55:32
    kissed anybody else
    than me she had never
  • 55:32 - 55:35
    been together with
    somebody she had been kept
  • 55:35 - 55:39
by God and she is so
    strong and when we talk
  • 55:39 - 55:42
    about living in sin I
    learned so much from
  • 55:43 - 55:46
    my wife because I can
see so much in my wife
  • 55:46 - 55:49
    that is so different
    from so many other and
  • 55:50 - 55:53
    you have heard her songs
    she has gone through
  • 55:53 - 55:55
a lot she is so strong.
    She is the strong
  • 55:55 - 55:58
    home in many ways in
    our family and often
  • 55:58 - 56:01
    when we travel together
    I take my wife with
  • 56:02 - 56:05
    me and we are working
    together now it’s me
  • 56:05 - 56:08
    who is the public
    person here you see me
  • 56:08 - 56:12
    often and people see me
more but I’m not who I
  • 56:12 - 56:15
    am without my wife. My
    wife is the strength
  • 56:16 - 56:20
    she is so amazing and
    God has put us together
  • 56:20 - 56:23
no doubt of that. So we
    can see if we repent
  • 56:24 - 56:28
    of our ways God has
    something better for us.
  • 56:28 - 56:31
    And what about ‘no one
    who abides in him
  • 56:35 - 56:39
    sins? No one who sins
    has seen him and know
  • 56:39 - 56:42
    him and another verse
1 John 3;9 no one who
  • 56:49 - 56:53
    is born of God will
    continue in sin because
  • 56:53 - 56:56
    God’s seeds remain in
    him, they cannot go
  • 56:59 - 57:03
    on sinning because
    they have been born of
  • 57:03 - 57:06
    God, what does that mean?
    I think this is
  • 57:10 - 57:13
    a good translation
    that they cannot go on
  • 57:13 - 57:16
    sinning because they are
    born by God and this
  • 57:16 - 57:20
also is no one who abides
    in him sins, nobody
  • 57:20 - 57:23
    who abides in him goes
    on sinning, this is
  • 57:23 - 57:26
    often what the word is
    saying like john 3;16
  • 57:26 - 57:29
    For God so much loved
    the world that he sent
  • 57:30 - 57:34
    his only Son that
    everybody who believe in
  • 57:34 - 57:37
    him shall have eternal
    life the word is for
  • 57:37 - 57:40
    everybody who believe
    in him and continue
  • 57:40 - 57:43
    believing in him so in
    the word this is not
  • 57:44 - 57:47
    talking about somebody
    who just believe one
  • 57:47 - 57:50
    time many years ago
the word if you go in
  • 57:50 - 57:54
    is the continued word
    everybody who believe and
  • 57:54 - 57:57
    continue to believe
    this is the same nobody
  • 58:03 - 58:06
who is born of God will
    continue to sin why
  • 58:07 - 58:10
    because he is born of
    God why would he not
  • 58:12 - 58:16
    continue in sin because
    the law has been put
  • 58:16 - 58:19
    in his heart, this is
    what I experienced this
  • 58:19 - 58:22
    is what many millions
    of people around the
  • 58:22 - 58:24
    world experienced when
    you repent from your
  • 58:25 - 58:28
    sins when you believe
    in Jesus Christ God is
  • 58:28 - 58:31
    going to create a new
    heart inside of you
  • 58:32 - 58:36
    ‘and that means that you
    cannot go on sinning’
  • 58:36 - 58:39
    the woman who was
    caught in adultery came
  • 58:43 - 58:46
    to Jesus and they want
    to stone her and Jesus
  • 58:46 - 58:49
    did not condemn her
    he forgave her but he
  • 58:49 - 58:53
    also said to her ‘now
    you are forgiven go and
  • 58:53 - 58:56
    sin no more’ what if
    she had just continued
  • 58:57 - 59:00
    sinning? We cannot
    continue sinning when we
  • 59:00 - 59:03
    have been forgiven we
    need to understand that
  • 59:04 - 59:08
    this word is also right
    if we confess our
  • 59:08 - 59:11
    sins he is faithful and
    just to forgive us
  • 59:12 - 59:15
    we need to understand
    that forgiveness
  • 59:15 - 59:18
    has to do with repentance.
  • 59:18 - 59:22
    And repentance has to
    do with your heart your
  • 59:22 - 59:25
mind and has to do with
    ceasing from sinning.
  • 59:26 - 59:30
    I got forgiven when I
    sinned but I didn’t
  • 59:30 - 59:33
    continue in sin because
    I know what the word
  • 59:36 - 59:40
is saying and it is like
    we have a world today
  • 59:40 - 59:43
    in church who don’t
    know what the word is
  • 59:43 - 59:46
    saying they don’t know
    the truth of God if
  • 59:46 - 59:49
    I go to Hebrew for
    example and I’m going
  • 59:50 - 59:54
to read a verse that is
    also the word of God
  • 59:54 - 59:57
    exactly like john 3;16
    and other verses and
  • 59:58 - 60:02
    the word here in Hebrews
    chapter 10 verse 26
  • 60:02 - 60:05
    if we sin wilfully
    after we have received
  • 60:05 - 60:09
    the knowledge of the
    truth there no longer
  • 60:09 - 60:12
    remains a sacrifice for sin.
    If we go sin
  • 60:19 - 60:23
    wilfully there is no
    longer a sacrifice for our
  • 60:23 - 60:26
    sin the result will be
    eternal punishment.
  • 60:29 - 60:32
    This is what the verse
    is saying many know
  • 60:32 - 60:34
    this word and read
    that word and are like
  • 60:35 - 60:39
    o sin wilfully o’ but I
    have sinned wilfully!
  • 60:39 - 60:42
    What does that word mean?
    And I want to say
  • 60:43 - 60:46
    when I stand there in
front of my I went to
  • 60:46 - 60:49
    bed with her I was
    sinning wilfully I knew
  • 60:50 - 60:54
    it inside somehow I
    didn’t know it but at
  • 60:54 - 60:57
the same time I knew it.
    And I did sin but
  • 60:57 - 61:01
    God forgave me. The word
    here if you sin wilfully
  • 61:01 - 61:04
is the same word if you
    continue sinning if
  • 61:05 - 61:09
    you continue sinning
    wilfully you can come
  • 61:09 - 61:12
    to that part where the
    Holy Spirit is going
  • 61:15 - 61:19
to leave you and I sad
    enough know people who
  • 61:19 - 61:22
    got saved they were
    living with a girlfriend
  • 61:22 - 61:25
    and they could not continue
    in that sin because
  • 61:25 - 61:28
    they got saved and then
    they move away from
  • 61:29 - 61:33
    the girlfriend later
    they opened them up to
  • 61:33 - 61:36
    sin again, and slowly
    sin came in and slowly
  • 61:36 - 61:40
    and slowly and then
    after some time ended
  • 61:40 - 61:43
    up with the girlfriend
    again and I met them
  • 61:44 - 61:47
and I asked them do you
    have a problem with
  • 61:47 - 61:50
    this and they said
    ‘no’ but before they
  • 61:51 - 61:55
    had. What had happened?
    One time they experienced
  • 61:55 - 61:58
    the salvation the Holy
    Spirit in their heart
  • 61:59 - 62:03
    but because they didn’t
    keep because they
  • 62:03 - 62:06
    didn’t understand we
    have to be careful
  • 62:07 - 62:11
    with what God have given
    us and listen to the
  • 62:11 - 62:14
    Holy Spirit I believe
    those people continued
  • 62:16 - 62:18
    going against the Holy Spirit
  • 62:18 - 62:20
    the heart inside of them.
  • 62:20 - 62:23
    And because they
    continued in that
  • 62:23 - 62:26
    the Holy Spirit got sad
    and left them. And
  • 62:26 - 62:29
    now they ended up in
    sin again and the last
  • 62:29 - 62:31
part is going to be worse than
  • 62:31 - 62:32
    the first the bible says.
  • 62:32 - 62:35
When we talk about sin it’s
  • 62:35 - 62:37
    like we have not
    understood what it is all
  • 62:37 - 62:39
    about in church it is
    like are still the whole
  • 62:40 - 62:43
    part we are all sinners
    instead of understanding
  • 62:43 - 62:46
    we ‘were’ sinners’
    but God created a
  • 62:47 - 62:51
    new heart inside of
us and if we had that
  • 62:51 - 62:54
    we cannot continue
    living in wilfully sin
  • 62:54 - 62:58
because we have the new heart.
  • 62:58 - 63:01
Let’s go to the first book of
  • 63:11 - 63:15
    john chapter 3; 7 they
    talk about the children
  • 63:15 - 63:18
    of God and talk about
    some of the things I
  • 63:18 - 63:22
    have been reading here.
    Little children, let no
  • 63:22 - 63:25
    one deceive you him who
    practice righteousness
  • 63:33 - 63:37
    is righteous just as
    he is righteous. Him
  • 63:37 - 63:40
who sins is of the devil
    for the devil for
  • 63:41 - 63:45
    the devil as sinned
    from the beginning for
  • 63:45 - 63:48
    the promise of God was
    manifested that he
  • 63:49 - 63:53
might destroy the works of the devil.
    So Jesus
  • 63:53 - 63:56
    came to destroy the sin
    in us and in verse
  • 63:58 - 64:02
    10 we read this, this
is how we know who the
  • 64:02 - 64:05
    children of God are and
    who the children of
  • 64:06 - 64:10
    the devil are anyone
    who does not do what
  • 64:10 - 64:13
    is right is not Gods
    children nor is anyone
  • 64:17 - 64:21
    who does not love his
    brother or sister. This
  • 64:21 - 64:24
    is what john is saying
    ‘this is how we know
  • 64:27 - 64:31
    who is the children
of God and who is the
  • 64:31 - 64:34
    children of the devil
    this is how we know
  • 64:36 - 64:40
    this is just after this
    verse we read this, this
  • 64:40 - 64:43
is how we know, how do
    we know by everybody
  • 64:45 - 64:49
    who is born again will
    not continue in sin
  • 64:49 - 64:52
    by this you will know
    who is the children
  • 64:54 - 64:58
of God and who is not. It’s not
  • 64:58 - 65:01
by speaking in tongues you know
  • 65:03 - 65:07
    you have repented, done
    the first thing it’s
  • 65:07 - 65:10
    not by speaking in tongues
    it’s not by healing
  • 65:10 - 65:14
the sick but that we know
    that we have repented,
  • 65:14 - 65:17
we know it by this is
how we know who is the
  • 65:21 - 65:25
    children of God and who
is not I talk to many,
  • 65:25 - 65:28
    many people and I meet
    many non-Christians
  • 65:29 - 65:32
    I meet many Christians
    when I talk to religious
  • 65:32 - 65:35
    people in the church I
    many times sit in front
  • 65:36 - 65:40
    of young people and I
ask them do you live in
  • 65:40 - 65:43
    sin with your girlfriend?
And do you go to bed
  • 65:50 - 65:53
    with your girlfriend?
    And they are like ‘yes’
  • 65:53 - 65:57
    ok do you have problem
    with that yes I think
  • 66:00 - 66:02
I have ok why? Do you have
  • 66:02 - 66:04
    a problem in your mind?
  • 66:04 - 66:07
    Because you have
    heard that this is
  • 66:07 - 66:10
    wrong or do you feel
    inside here that this
  • 66:10 - 66:13
    is completely wrong?
    Many will say ‘I have
  • 66:14 - 66:18
    a problem in my mind’
    why would they say
  • 66:18 - 66:21
    that because if it was
    from inside here it
  • 66:22 - 66:26
    would not be very like
    this is wrong’ it
  • 66:26 - 66:29
would be like me YOU ARE SINNING!
    You are
  • 66:29 - 66:33
    sinning! And they would
    not be I doubt, they
  • 66:33 - 66:36
    would know that are
    sinning because they are
  • 66:36 - 66:38
born of God, But because they
  • 66:38 - 66:40
are not born of God they
  • 66:41 - 66:44
    are only religious in
    their mind set they
  • 66:44 - 66:47
    have no problem with
    sin they know in their
  • 66:47 - 66:50
    mind set that I should
    not do that it’s
  • 66:50 - 66:52
    wrong but they have
    never got it from their
  • 66:53 - 66:57
    mind down to their
    spirit and that is why
  • 66:57 - 67:00
    we have many in the
    church today who live
  • 67:00 - 67:04
in sin and we call them
    still ‘Christians’ we
  • 67:04 - 67:07
    call them sinners but
    sinners who is going
  • 67:08 - 67:12
    to heaven because we are
    all sinners you know
  • 67:12 - 67:15
    yea they live in sin
but we all live in sin
  • 67:15 - 67:18
    they continue in sin
    but they believe in
  • 67:18 - 67:21
    God ‘no’ it’s not by
    who believe God but
  • 67:22 - 67:26
    by this you know who
    is the children of God
  • 67:26 - 67:29
and who is not by this,
    if people live in
  • 67:31 - 67:35
    wilful sin and you know
    it and you see it,
  • 67:35 - 67:38
    it doesn’t matter what
    they believe if they
  • 67:42 - 67:46
    live in wilful sin they
    are not born again
  • 67:46 - 67:49
    also if they come in
church if he is a priest
  • 67:50 - 67:54
if he say he knows God
    and he reads the bible
  • 67:54 - 67:57
    he is not born again
    because God came to create
  • 67:58 - 68:02
a new heart he is still
    holy he has not changed
  • 68:02 - 68:05
he is the same as we
    read in the old covenant
  • 68:06 - 68:10
    he has not changed it
is us who need to get
  • 68:10 - 68:13
    changed by the spirit
of God by the law of
  • 68:13 - 68:17
    God is written in our
    heart and this is what
  • 68:17 - 68:20
    happened when repentance
    happens, tom are
  • 68:21 - 68:25
    you without sin ‘no’ I
    don’t say I am where
  • 68:25 - 68:28
    I should be, but I
    am not where I used
  • 68:31 - 68:35
to be but I know there
    is more because I need
  • 68:35 - 68:38
    to look like Christ and
    I want to look like
  • 68:39 - 68:42
    Christ when I got saved
    in the beginning it
  • 68:42 - 68:46
    was like the big thing
    like I did sin ‘aa
  • 68:46 - 68:50
    I could not do…that
    anymore, and then it
  • 68:50 - 68:53
    was easier for me to
cut it off and not do
  • 68:53 - 68:57
    that anymore but you
    cannot like the head and
  • 68:57 - 69:00
    the mind separate them
    but then God started
  • 69:03 - 69:07
    to deal with that in
me and then it was my
  • 69:07 - 69:10
    false life ‘why did I
    react the way I did?
  • 69:11 - 69:14
Why did I say the thing I said?
    Was it to
  • 69:14 - 69:17
    build my kingdom? To
be proud or why did I
  • 69:17 - 69:19
do what I did? And God continued
  • 69:19 - 69:21
working in me and he still
  • 69:22 - 69:25
    works in me today and
    he is going to continue
  • 69:25 - 69:27
    working in me until
    the day I’m going to
  • 69:27 - 69:30
    stand in front of him
but I want to make him
  • 69:30 - 69:33
    continue working in me
    because if I just stop
  • 69:34 - 69:38
    and say no’ this is
    enough common, then
  • 69:38 - 69:41
he is not my Lord. I
    need to let him work
  • 69:42 - 69:45
in me. And there was a
    period in my life where
  • 69:45 - 69:47
    he really went deeper
    and deeper and deeper
  • 69:47 - 69:51
and deeper and deeper and deeper.
    And I want
  • 69:51 - 69:54
    to say there is a
    difference between living
  • 69:55 - 69:59
    in wilful sin and being
    bound to sin, and
  • 69:59 - 70:02
    I repented in many
    ways and I experienced
  • 70:05 - 70:09
a freedom I did, but there
    was still something
  • 70:09 - 70:12
in my life I could not
    get rid of there was
  • 70:12 - 70:15
    one thing there and
    there was a few things,
  • 70:15 - 70:18
    I didn’t love it I
    didn’t want to live
  • 70:19 - 70:22
in it but I fall in
    it, in this thing and
  • 70:22 - 70:25
    other thing, and I
    was like oo I didn’t
  • 70:25 - 70:29
    feel free and it tormented
    me but then I got
  • 70:29 - 70:32
    baptised and when I got
    baptise, not immediately,
  • 70:37 - 70:41
    nothing happened but
    later I got a revelation
  • 70:41 - 70:44
    out of what baptism was
    and I started to walk
  • 70:45 - 70:49
    in romans 6. Freedom
    from sin, one time I
  • 70:49 - 70:52
    read romans 6 freedom
    from sin each time I
  • 70:56 - 71:00
    read romans 6;14 And
    when I suddenly saw
  • 71:00 - 71:03
what it is all about I
was like I am free ‘I
  • 71:04 - 71:08
    am free and from that
    moment I experienced a
  • 71:08 - 71:11
    new beginning one more
    time I experienced
  • 71:11 - 71:14
    a freedom from sin the
    last thing was broken
  • 71:14 - 71:17
in my life and it became
    a new beginning one
  • 71:18 - 71:22
    more time because those
    things have to do
  • 71:22 - 71:25
    with sin everything has
    to do with cleansing
  • 71:25 - 71:29
    and sin but today we
    have many people we have
  • 71:29 - 71:32
    the catholic church and
    the Lutheran church
  • 71:32 - 71:35
    and Calvinistic and
    other churches
  • 71:35 - 71:37
who are not baptised in water.
  • 71:37 - 71:41
    And because they are
    not baptised in water
  • 71:41 - 71:44
they cannot walk in romans 6.
    They don’t
  • 71:45 - 71:48
    experience the freedom
    they are walking in
  • 71:48 - 71:50
    romans 7 and they are
    fighting with guilt
  • 71:51 - 71:53
    many are and because
    they don’t have the
  • 71:53 - 71:55
    baptism in water and
    the freedom from sin
  • 71:56 - 72:00
    they build a theology
    out of their experience
  • 72:00 - 72:03
    and their theology becomes
    like we are sinners’
  • 72:04 - 72:07
    we are all sinners’
    instead of we are saints
  • 72:07 - 72:10
    we are holy because
    Jesus did not come to
  • 72:11 - 72:15
save us in our sin he
    came to save us from
  • 72:15 - 72:18
our sin and I want to
    say Jesus said to the
  • 72:20 - 72:24
    Pharisee in Matthew 23
    woe unto you scribes
  • 72:24 - 72:27
    and Pharisees hypocrites
    and he said you are
  • 72:31 - 72:35
    cleansing the cup outside
    but inside is still
  • 72:35 - 72:38
    rotten it is so rotten
    inside and he said
  • 72:39 - 72:43
    ‘cleanse the cup inside
    and it will also be
  • 72:43 - 72:46
    clean outside and this
    is the problem with
  • 72:48 - 72:51
    the Pharisees this is
    the problem with the
  • 72:51 - 72:53
    religious people, today
    the religious people
  • 72:54 - 72:58
    cleanse the cup outside
    but inside the still
  • 72:58 - 73:01
    feel so rotten and I’ve
    met so many people
  • 73:05 - 73:09
    who have grown up in
    religious traditions
  • 73:09 - 73:12
    and when I come with
    this you can be free
  • 73:14 - 73:17
    then it is good news
    because they had tried
  • 73:17 - 73:19
    to walk as a Christian
    for many years and
  • 73:19 - 73:23
    know everything but they
    always feel condemned
  • 73:23 - 73:26
    and they always fighting
    and sinning fighting
  • 73:28 - 73:30
    and sinning instead of
  • 73:30 - 73:32
    experiencing the freedom why?
  • 73:32 - 73:35
    Because nobody has
    cleansed their life
  • 73:37 - 73:41
    inside by the new heart
    the freedom in baptism
  • 73:41 - 73:44
    and because they are
    not cleansed they feel
  • 73:44 - 73:48
    rotten inside and they
    are for many are rotten
  • 73:48 - 73:51
    inside and I want to
    say I have met people
  • 73:51 - 73:54
    many who have come in
    churches many years and
  • 73:54 - 73:57
    they thought they were
    saved and do everything
  • 73:57 - 74:00
    but when they really
    got saved they
  • 74:00 - 74:03
said like now I was so deceived.
  • 74:03 - 74:06
And to be honest I met
    that in Pentecostal
  • 74:06 - 74:08
    churches there I met
    in the Baptist church
  • 74:09 - 74:13
I met in that many places
    because it is more
  • 74:13 - 74:16
    than religious it is
    life and we should not
  • 74:18 - 74:22
    build theology out of
life and I want to say
  • 74:22 - 74:25
    my experience with
    freedom from sin didn’t
  • 74:29 - 74:33
    come by laying on hands
    on me in two seconds
  • 74:33 - 74:36
    ‘no it came by seeking
    God, by repentance
  • 74:38 - 74:41
    by fasting, by seeking
    God and I think our
  • 74:41 - 74:44
    problem is sometimes
    that we want the big
  • 74:45 - 74:49
    thing here now, and
we are not able to do
  • 74:49 - 74:52
    what it takes to come
    into the freedom God
  • 74:52 - 74:56
    has for us, we don’t
    do what it takes and
  • 74:56 - 74:59
    because of that many don’t
    walk in the freedom
  • 75:04 - 75:07
    next time I am going
    to talk about baptism
  • 75:07 - 75:09
    in water we are going
    to do it again with
  • 75:10 - 75:13
    sin I’m going to share
    my testimony how I
  • 75:13 - 75:16
    experienced the freedom
    from sin and I have
  • 75:16 - 75:20
it in my book and I have
    just got this today
  • 75:20 - 75:23
    just today before I
    did this teaching the
  • 75:23 - 75:26
    post came with this
    book this is the first
  • 75:26 - 75:29
time I like hold it in
    my hand almost I got
  • 75:30 - 75:33
it like one hour ago and
    this is my book ‘The
  • 75:33 - 75:36
    Sound Doctrine’ and
    it had just come out
  • 75:36 - 75:40
of amazon and I order it
    from amazon and that’s
  • 75:40 - 75:43
why I got it here and
    you can order it on
  • 75:43 - 75:45
amazon right now and you can
  • 75:45 - 75:47
go on my website and find it.
  • 75:47 - 75:50
    And in this book
    I tell the story
  • 75:51 - 75:55
    about how I fasted how
    I experienced freedom
  • 75:55 - 75:58
    from sin and hate sin
    and you need to hate
  • 75:58 - 76:01
sin in order to be free
    from sin and I tell
  • 76:01 - 76:04
    my story about how I
    experienced freedom so
  • 76:04 - 76:08
    if you want more
    teaching and again I’m
  • 76:08 - 76:11
    not speaking English
    normal so I’m not so
  • 76:12 - 76:15
    much into detail it’s
    also because English
  • 76:15 - 76:17
    is still something I
    am learning but here
  • 76:17 - 76:20
    there is much more scriptures.
    And there
  • 76:20 - 76:23
    is more detail about
    sin about fear
  • 76:24 - 76:27
    God, about freedom from
    sin, so I encourage
  • 76:27 - 76:30
you to go and buy this
    book on amazon and
  • 76:30 - 76:34
    read that till I come
    back because next time
  • 76:34 - 76:37
    we are going to continue
    it, so this is the
  • 76:38 - 76:42
word for you I want to
    end this video by saying
  • 76:42 - 76:45
where are you? Where are you?
    when I talk
  • 76:47 - 76:51
    about this and I know
    many of you is grown
  • 76:51 - 76:54
    up in a Christian family
    and sometimes it’s
  • 76:55 - 76:59
    not so easy because you
    know everything you
  • 76:59 - 77:02
    know how to live and
    you think is that in
  • 77:03 - 77:06
my mind in my spirit? The
    most important thing
  • 77:06 - 77:08
is do you live in sin now?
    Do you experience
  • 77:09 - 77:12
    freedom? From sin? I have
    that if I do something
  • 77:12 - 77:15
    wrong I can feel like
oo I should not go out
  • 77:15 - 77:18
    of this way’ I should
    stop now this is if
  • 77:18 - 77:21
    I go further here this
    is sin’ and I can
  • 77:21 - 77:23
feel it inside of me and I
  • 77:23 - 77:25
    don’t know where you are?
  • 77:25 - 77:28
    Have you never
    experienced that and
  • 77:30 - 77:33
live in sin? If you live
    in sin then you are
  • 77:33 - 77:35
    not born again, and you
    have to repent and
  • 77:36 - 77:39
    you have to repent and
    understand this and
  • 77:39 - 77:41
    give everything to God
    and be baptised in
  • 77:42 - 77:45
    water and Holy
    Spirit if you don’t
  • 77:45 - 77:48
    have that to come
    in to know him.
  • 77:48 - 77:50
    But maybe you are there
  • 77:50 - 77:52
    maybe you have experienced
  • 77:52 - 77:55
    that but you are slow
    to hearing or you were
  • 77:57 - 78:00
    some time ago more
    radical in that area and
  • 78:00 - 78:02
I want to say then you
    have to do something
  • 78:03 - 78:06
    about it also and if
    TV is the problem then
  • 78:06 - 78:09
    throw it out of the
    house do what you need
  • 78:09 - 78:13
to do to get rid of the
    thing that hinders
  • 78:13 - 78:16
    you, to live radical,
    get rid of the thing
  • 78:17 - 78:20
that hinders you from being holy.
    And often
  • 78:20 - 78:22
if we know what it was
    all about it will come
  • 78:22 - 78:25
    by itself because we will
    keep away from things
  • 78:25 - 78:27
we don’t have a TV in
    our house it’s not
  • 78:28 - 78:32
    because I will sit and
    look at porn on TV
  • 78:32 - 78:35
    and because of internet
    if I want to look
  • 78:36 - 78:38
at porn I could do it
but now I have so much
  • 78:38 - 78:40
fear of God in my life
    and I experience freedom
  • 78:40 - 78:43
so I don’t do that but
    I don’t have a TV
  • 78:43 - 78:46
    because jus the normal
    things somehow I
  • 78:47 - 78:51
can use my time on and
it make me slow I makes
  • 78:51 - 78:54
    me somehow dull ‘sluggish’
    in mind I don’t
  • 78:54 - 78:57
    know the English word
    it made me passive,
  • 78:57 - 78:59
    like it doesn’t matter
    so much its ok to
  • 78:59 - 79:03
look at this its ok to
    film me with that and
  • 79:03 - 79:06
    many Christians look
at TV all the time and
  • 79:07 - 79:08
    listen to non-Christian music
  • 79:08 - 79:10
    and I don’t understand how?
  • 79:10 - 79:12
you cannot do that, you need
  • 79:12 - 79:16
    to fill your spirit with
    good things you need
  • 79:16 - 79:19
    to fill your spirit and
    if you go it’s not
  • 79:20 - 79:24
    only about keeping away
    from sin because in
  • 79:24 - 79:27
    Galatians 5 you read
    about the fruit of the
  • 79:31 - 79:35
    flesh and the fruit of
    the spirit in verse
  • 79:35 - 79:38
    19 The works of the
    flesh are; then there
  • 79:40 - 79:44
    is a long list including
    idolatry and jealousy
  • 79:44 - 79:47
and a lot of things and
    he said there they
  • 79:49 - 79:52
    who practice such things
    will never inherit
  • 79:52 - 79:55
    the kingdom of God so
    he said that to the
  • 79:55 - 79:59
    Christians if you go out
    of that way this is
  • 79:59 - 80:02
    what he says you are
    never going to inherit
  • 80:03 - 80:07
    the kingdom of God but
    then he is talking about
  • 80:07 - 80:10
    the fruits of the
    spirit; love joy peace
  • 80:12 - 80:15
    longsuffering kindness
    goodness faithfulness,
  • 80:15 - 80:19
    and he talks about that
    and he said and those
  • 80:20 - 80:24
    who are in Christ have
    crucified the flesh
  • 80:24 - 80:27
    with its passion and
    desires if you are in
  • 80:29 - 80:33
    Christ and you belong to
    him you have crucified
  • 80:33 - 80:34
your flesh what is a Christian?
  • 80:34 - 80:36
    What is repentance?
  • 80:40 - 80:43
    Repentance is that you
    are walking by the
  • 80:43 - 80:46
    flesh you are walking
out of that road a big
  • 80:47 - 80:50
    road that lead to
    adjustment you are walking
  • 80:50 - 80:53
    out of that road and
    you are doing exactly
  • 80:53 - 80:57
    the things you read
    about in Galatians 5.19
  • 80:57 - 81:00
    but then you repented
    you turn away from it
  • 81:04 - 81:07
    toward God and you
    experience God lay
  • 81:07 - 81:10
    the law inside of
    you, you become new.
  • 81:10 - 81:14
    And then you start to
    walk the new life where
  • 81:14 - 81:17
you are not led by the
    flesh but by the spirit
  • 81:21 - 81:24
I want to say ‘where are
    you in all of this’
  • 81:24 - 81:27
    now I’ve been teaching
    and some of I believe
  • 81:27 - 81:30
    there are some who are
    not saved I believe
  • 81:30 - 81:33
    there are people who
    have not been baptised
  • 81:32 - 81:34
    in water and they don’t
    experience the freedom
  • 81:34 - 81:36
    I believe there is
    people because of their
  • 81:37 - 81:40
    religious glasses have
    a problem with this
  • 81:40 - 81:43
    with what I am teaching
    if there is a longing
  • 81:43 - 81:46
    inside of you and can
    see this is right I
  • 81:46 - 81:48
    want that I want that
I want to be a saint
  • 81:49 - 81:52
    I want to experience the
    freedom God has for
  • 81:52 - 81:54
me but how I am standing
    here and all of that
  • 81:55 - 81:59
    I want to say relax
    seek God and listen to
  • 81:59 - 82:02
    what God is dealing in
    you and the problem
  • 82:03 - 82:06
    with teaching like this
    is that people are
  • 82:06 - 82:09
    so different in their journey.
    But there is
  • 82:10 - 82:13
    one who knows where
    you are right now and
  • 82:13 - 82:16
this is God and he knows
    what you need maybe
  • 82:16 - 82:19
you need to repent and get
    saved and get baptised
  • 82:19 - 82:23
    in water and then God
he know it and you know
  • 82:22 - 82:25
it and he will talk to
    you and he will show
  • 82:25 - 82:28
    it to you maybe you
    are saved but you are
  • 82:29 - 82:32
    bound to sin and you
    need to get baptised or
  • 82:32 - 82:35
    you need a revelation
    about what your baptism
  • 82:35 - 82:38
    in water was and there
    you read in romans 6.
  • 82:38 - 82:41
    The Holy Spirit to
    open your eyes and set
  • 82:42 - 82:45
    you free maybe you are
    playing with sin and
  • 82:45 - 82:48
    the reason you are saved
    you are playing with
  • 82:48 - 82:51
sin and that is why you
    are struggling with sin
  • 82:51 - 82:54
    and then you have to
    repent cut the things
  • 82:54 - 82:57
    off in your life maybe
    cut the internet out
  • 82:57 - 83:00
    drop the internet for
    a while until you get
  • 83:01 - 83:04
fear of God in your life
    so you can have internet
  • 83:04 - 83:07
    again without sinning
    you know what you are
  • 83:08 - 83:12
    fighting with and you
    need to be free from
  • 83:12 - 83:15
    that because you need
    to walk in Christ not
  • 83:16 - 83:19
    after the flesh but
    after the spirit
  • 83:19 - 83:21
    this is what we
    all called to do.
  • 83:21 - 83:24
    And if you have sin
    in your life when you
  • 83:24 - 83:27
    repent and you don’t
    turn away from things
  • 83:28 - 83:32
    repent if you confess
    your sin God is faithful
  • 83:32 - 83:35
    to forgive you, also
    if you don’t get this
  • 83:38 - 83:41
    strong experience like
    I got in the beginning
  • 83:41 - 83:43
    because often I don’t
    do that anymore but
  • 83:43 - 83:46
    if I do something and
God is reading me and I
  • 83:46 - 83:48
am so sorry and I just
    know I am free, don’t
  • 83:49 - 83:51
    do that anymore not
    because I said the right
  • 83:51 - 83:53
    word but because I
    confess but I know that
  • 83:54 - 83:57
    he is working and he
    is cleansing me and I
  • 83:57 - 83:59
    do things and he forgives
    me and to confess
  • 84:00 - 84:03
    your sins it’s not
    only for God it’s also
  • 84:03 - 84:05
    to know remind yourself
    that this was wrong
  • 84:06 - 84:09
    so I’m not going to
    continue in this but
  • 84:09 - 84:13
    God is faithful. And
    I don’t know where
  • 84:13 - 84:16
you are and I want to
say it’s ok to have a
  • 84:16 - 84:20
    time where you get confused
    about this because
  • 84:20 - 84:23
    when God start to deal
    with me six years after
  • 84:23 - 84:25
    I got saved he start
    to deal with me about
  • 84:25 - 84:27
sin again. And I start to be
  • 84:27 - 84:29
    confused and wow what about
  • 84:29 - 84:32
    this and what about this
    too, and then I started
  • 84:32 - 84:34
to get the fear of God
    and God revealed this
  • 84:35 - 84:38
    book to me and this
    is my testimony about
  • 84:38 - 84:40
    it and I experienced
    the freedom but before
  • 84:41 - 84:43
    I experienced a freedom
    there was also some
  • 84:43 - 84:45
    days where I felt like
    now I was condemned
  • 84:45 - 84:48
    ‘now I’m going to
    hell’ God, God cannot
  • 84:48 - 84:51
    forgive me anymore’ I
    have sinned against
  • 84:50 - 84:54
    the Holy Spirit and I
    feel so condemned but
  • 84:54 - 84:57
    it was from God because
    he wanted to have
  • 84:59 - 85:02
    a deep repentance in
    my heart, and when I
  • 85:02 - 85:04
    came in and experienced
    the revelation of
  • 85:04 - 85:08
    the freedom I got free
    and it was almost like
  • 85:08 - 85:11
    getting born again and
    to be honest I was
  • 85:12 - 85:14
    confused thinking was
    I really born again?
  • 85:14 - 85:16
    Was I really born before?
    Because this was
  • 85:17 - 85:20
    completely new one more time.
    There was a
  • 85:20 - 85:22
    freedom in Christ I
    have never experienced
  • 85:22 - 85:25
    before but I went through
    a journey like this I
  • 85:25 - 85:28
    was fighting, struggling
    I was almost condemned
  • 85:29 - 85:31
    some days, thinking
    ‘I’m going to hell’
  • 85:31 - 85:33
    and I was crying and
    I was seeing God but
  • 85:34 - 85:37
    then the revelation came
    and then the freedom
  • 85:37 - 85:40
    came and you also need
    to come into that and
  • 85:41 - 85:44
    you need to go walk
    from where you are and
  • 85:44 - 85:46
    take the next step you
    need to take and I
  • 85:46 - 85:48
    don’t know what that is?
    Maybe you need
  • 85:48 - 85:50
    fear of God in your
    life we need that all
  • 85:51 - 85:53
    of us maybe you need
    to repent get saved?
  • 85:53 - 85:55
    Maybe you need to have
    a revelation of what
  • 85:55 - 85:59
    baptism is maybe you
    need to just get your
  • 85:59 - 86:02
eyes away off sin and look at Christ?
    People
  • 86:06 - 86:08
    ask me but tom I’m
    fighting with thing can
  • 86:08 - 86:10
I go out and heal the
    sick and preach the
  • 86:10 - 86:13
    gospel? You need to go
    and do it because if
  • 86:13 - 86:17
    we get our eyes away
    from sin and ourselves
  • 86:17 - 86:20
    and look on Jesus things
    is going to be so
  • 86:20 - 86:23
    much better, if I look
    at sin anymore you
  • 86:23 - 86:26
    will not think of that
    you will not think
  • 86:26 - 86:28
    of that sin, sin, sin
if I say to myself I
  • 86:28 - 86:31
    will not think of that
    ‘I’m going to think
  • 86:31 - 86:33
    of it’ but when I
look at him I look at
  • 86:33 - 86:37
    what he has done I’m
    not going to think
  • 86:37 - 86:40
    of sin so this message
    is supposed to set
  • 86:41 - 86:44
you free also it is in
    the beginning is shaking
  • 86:44 - 86:47
you a little so I hope
    you understand that
  • 86:47 - 86:50
    I hope you understand
    this freedom that Christ
  • 86:50 - 86:52
came with he came to set
    us free you are going
  • 86:53 - 86:56
    to learn the truth and
    the truth is going
  • 86:56 - 86:59
to set you free so you
    are not going to be
  • 87:00 - 87:03
    a sinner anymore but
you are going to be a
  • 87:03 - 87:05
    saint you are going to
    be holy you are going
  • 87:06 - 87:10
    to walk in freedom from
    sin so this is what
  • 87:10 - 87:13
    I want to talk about
    read my book next time
  • 87:14 - 87:17
    I’m back in two weeks,
    so you have time to
  • 87:17 - 87:20
read my book and I look
    forward to continuing
  • 87:21 - 87:24
    and come with questions
so I can take that and
  • 87:24 - 87:28
    start with that in the
    next teaching where
  • 87:28 - 87:31
    I am going to talk
    about baptism in water
  • 87:31 - 87:35
    and freedom from sin
    ….yes…amazing love
  • 87:34 - 87:37
    what God is doing. I
    look forward to next
  • 87:37 - 87:40
    time I am going to
    preach about baptism in
  • 87:40 - 87:44
    water and freedom from
    sin, God bless you.
