How to handle PROVOCATION in relationships!

There is no shortage of issues that can lead to clashes, misunderstanding and trouble

in human relationships.

But as far as you base your reaction on someone else's action,

you will never get it right.

What do I mean?

‘Hey, he provoked me. That's why I'm angry.’

‘She said this to me. That's why I shouted back at her.’

As far as you base your reaction on that person's action, you have got it wrong

because you're operating under a man-made standard, not God's standard.

Someone may provoke you.

Look, I’m not defending such a person. It is bad to provoke someone.

But my reaction of anger is not that person's responsibility, it is mine.

My angry response reflects the wrong place of my heart with God,

not what that person has done to provoke me.
