Dancing "magnetic" puppets - How it is done

and I was screwed with those
two beautiful puppets.

The puppets do not look unusual

except the fact they can dance.

Actually, see for yourselves...

The puppets are offered
in almost all of the big European cities

Usually they are sold by illegal immigrants
directly on the street

I was lied about their magnetic features
which are the reason for the incredible balance

and also curious how exactly do they dance

and manage to stay in the air like that

I paid 5 EUR and brought them home

According to the seller,
the small magnets in puppets' legs and backs

change their polarity affected by the
big speaker magnets while the music plays

Of course, such a "scientific" explanation
is a total bullshit...

but when you see the dance with your
own eyes it's so easy to be tricked!

The truth is quite different.

The puppets are put on
practically invisible thread

which end is mounted at one end
and attached at other to the mechanics

of cassette player that sellers
always bring with them.

So, when the player is started,
the puppets are moving.

When the player is stopped,
puppets stop, too.

Elementary, isn't it?

The only purpose of the
"magnetic" bands of the puppets

is just for attaching them to the thread...

In short, there is nothing magical in those
two paper pieces except their price.
