Донецк 13 июля / Интервью с ополченцем - афганцем Донецкой Народной Республики / 13.07.2014

  • 0:00 - 0:03
    I'm an ethnic Afghan.
  • 0:03 - 0:06
    I'm an ethnic Afghan.
  • 0:06 - 0:08
I'm here on my own free will
  • 0:08 - 0:11
Many people will say "what is he doing here?"
  • 0:11 - 0:14
"go back to your own country" and so on
  • 0:14 - 0:17
But the matter of fact is, the same thing that is happening here
  • 0:17 - 0:21
in the Ukraine happened in my country as well
  • 0:21 - 0:22
    around 36 years ago
  • 0:22 - 0:25
Our country was divided into two camps
  • 0:25 - 0:27
One side was aided by the Soviet Union
  • 0:27 - 0:30
The other side was aided by the entire world, with America in the lead
  • 0:30 - 0:34
It so turned out that we lost that war
  • 0:34 - 0:35
    And this is the result
  • 0:35 - 0:38
Look at what is happening in Afghanistan
  • 0:38 - 0:40
    Many people died
  • 0:40 - 0:43
Not only that, but everyone who helped America back then
  • 0:43 - 0:47
automatically ended up being part of the, hehe, separatists
  • 0:47 - 0:50
    haha... and that's it.
  • 0:50 - 0:53
And now they're almost all gone.
  • 0:53 - 0:55
I entered the Soviet Union in 1985
  • 0:55 - 0:58
    through an inter-government agreement
  • 0:58 - 1:02
between the Soviet Union and Afghanistan
  • 1:02 - 1:07
I graduated from Boarding School #9 in the city of Volgograd
  • 1:07 - 1:12
In essence, I received a Soviet education
  • 1:12 - 1:16
and in case anyone wants to call me "pro-Russian"
  • 1:16 - 1:23
"pro-this" or "pro-that", believe me, we actually had a lot of big problems
  • 1:23 - 1:26
with the new democratic government of Russia
  • 1:26 - 1:29
    we ended up being foreigners
  • 1:29 - 1:33
and here I'm not fighting for the Russian government
  • 1:33 - 1:35
    or for somebody else
  • 1:35 - 1:41
I'm here for the Slavs, for these people - a kind people, that others are now trying to destroy
  • 1:41 - 1:42
They thought they were through with us [the Afghans],
  • 1:42 - 1:44
    but no, not yet
  • 1:44 - 1:45
but they are almost through with us
  • 1:45 - 1:47
and now they're after the Slavs
  • 1:47 - 1:49
    we must stop them here
  • 1:49 - 1:51
The whole problem is that those who think
  • 1:51 - 1:53
they are for fighting for the right cause
  • 1:53 - 1:57
they get shown our animosity, they got shown how people with St. George ribbons
  • 1:57 - 2:00
    rape someone, those saboteurs
  • 2:00 - 2:01
    how they kill someone
  • 2:01 - 2:04
somebody shows them [the Ukrainians] this, and then they truly believe in it
  • 2:04 - 2:06
and come to fight against us
  • 2:06 - 2:09
They come to fight us and think that they are right.
  • 2:09 - 2:11
The exact same thing happened in Afghanistan
  • 2:11 - 2:15
The exact same thing, 100% identical
  • 2:15 - 2:16
    Do you understand?
  • 2:16 - 2:20
And it doesn't really matter whether they are bad or good
  • 2:20 - 2:23
What matters is they don't know the evil they are carrying on their backs
  • 2:23 - 2:25
    They don't know.
  • 2:25 - 2:28
Please tell me: how much do they pay you here?
  • 2:30 - 2:34
I have to go around and bum cigarettes!
  • 2:34 - 2:36
I'm here on my own free will and
  • 2:36 - 2:41
I don't kill people for money
  • 2:41 - 2:42
    I'm here on my own
  • 2:42 - 2:50
Together with me are Ossetians, Russians, Cossacks, Kalmyks, Yakuts
  • 2:50 - 2:55
Together with me is the entire family, the entire union, the union of tribes that once was
  • 2:55 - 2:58
    Do you understand?
  • 2:58 - 3:00
And the Ukrainians are also with us
  • 3:00 - 3:02
    You can't exclude that
  • 3:02 - 3:07
You can't say that "they came here [to Ukraine] and caused all this"
  • 3:07 - 3:10
They [Kiev] don't need you here
  • 3:10 - 3:12
They [the West] don't need no Slavs...
  • 3:12 - 3:19
[Pro-Kiev] Ukrainians, who don't remember their true traditions, don't consider themselves as Slavs now
  • 3:19 - 3:21
But they [the West] don't need them [the pro-Kiev Ukrainians] either
  • 3:21 - 3:23
    They need slaves
  • 3:23 - 3:25
They want people like those who won in the Eurovision
  • 3:25 - 3:28
If you're like that, then you're awesome, you get to live
  • 3:28 - 3:30
    But others won't
  • 3:30 - 3:33
    Believe me, look at Afghanistan...
  • 3:33 - 3:35
Will they do the same thing they did in Afghanistan?
  • 3:37 - 3:41
To the Slavs, they'll do something worse
  • 3:41 - 3:49
Because at the moment the Slavs are the medium that carries their own civilization
  • 3:49 - 3:51
the code to their own civilization
  • 3:51 - 3:57
and in it's essence that code contradicts their [the West's] business
  • 3:57 - 4:00
    and their worldwide hegemony
  • 4:00 - 4:03
    they don't need Slavs
  • 4:03 - 4:07
    they don't need their spirit
  • 4:11 - 4:15
People say that we get paid
  • 4:15 - 4:18
But it's the other way around. People tried to hire me
  • 4:18 - 4:21
    from the Ukrainian side
  • 4:21 - 4:25
they said "we'll pay you too, come to us"
  • 4:25 - 4:27
but the whole point of the matter is: I'm a Muslim
  • 4:27 - 4:30
I don't kill people for money
  • 4:30 - 4:35
The Koran says that if something bad is happening somewhere, you need to intervene
  • 4:35 - 4:40
The Koran says that a man never has to do things for money...
  • 4:40 - 4:47
well, he can buy and sell, but within some limits
  • 4:47 - 4:54
A man must never do dirty deeds, like what they are doing
  • 4:54 - 4:56
    That's why I'm here
  • 4:56 - 4:59
I was expecting this for some time
  • 4:59 - 5:04
It's actually no wonder that some Muslims
  • 5:04 - 5:06
    are now fighting alongside Slavs
  • 5:06 - 5:10
because the world has been divided into two camps
  • 5:10 - 5:14
and smaller countries, smaller nations, they can't live on their own
  • 5:14 - 5:17
they need to pick a camp to join
  • 5:17 - 5:19
    and there aren't many candidates
  • 5:19 - 5:26
either the Slavs, or America, together with England
  • 5:26 - 5:34
Other people may point to Syria, Iraq, and others
  • 5:34 - 5:41
but over there, both government and anti-government forces have been installed by the same system
  • 5:41 - 5:43
    and that's it
  • 5:43 - 5:47
and those pushing the idea of a jihad in the Middle East
  • 5:47 - 5:51
well, everybody knows who they are working for
  • 5:51 - 5:59
Furthermore, they say there is this one very attractive, well...
  • 5:59 - 6:02
female journalist from the "Echo of Moscow"
  • 6:02 - 6:10
who has started twisting things towards radical Islamism
  • 6:10 - 6:14
which is somehow being revived by the Russians
  • 6:14 - 6:19
but somehow she's overlooked the mercenaries
  • 6:19 - 6:26
killing people for money, fighting on the side of the Ukrainians
  • 6:26 - 6:34
so, naturally, it's pretty obvious who's drum she is beating
  • 6:34 - 6:37
who's drum our journalists are now beating
  • 6:37 - 6:40
we were in Donetsk, in a shop, practically moments ago
  • 6:40 - 6:46
and the owner there there, he told us
  • 6:46 - 6:50
"Guys, you don't need to pay, just take what you want"
  • 6:50 - 6:53
"You are our defenders, good on you, you're awesome"
  • 6:53 - 6:56
But we can't take things for free
  • 6:56 - 6:58
    We must pay
  • 6:58 - 7:00
in order to show that we aren't marauders, not killers, not robbers
  • 7:00 - 7:03
we aren't here to feed off the locals
  • 7:03 - 7:06
we aren't here to cause anarchy
  • 7:06 - 7:10
we are here, we are showing people that we are here
  • 7:10 - 7:12
in order to defend this land
  • 7:12 - 7:19
in order to prevent the evil that the pro-Westerners are carrying on their backs from being brought here
  • 7:19 - 7:24
I'd like to say that there are still real men left on Earth
  • 7:24 - 7:28
The time has come to pay back our debts
  • 7:28 - 7:32
When I was a student, I ate three times a day
  • 7:32 - 7:40
It would have been enough to feed five other children
  • 7:40 - 7:43
Now I have to repay that debt
  • 7:43 - 7:46
A long time ago, my father died, in Afghanistan
  • 7:46 - 7:52
People serving the Americans killed him
  • 7:52 - 7:55
It's now his son's turn to fight their dogs
  • 7:55 - 7:58
    And that's all there is
  • 7:58 - 8:00
I'd like to tell them not to worry
  • 8:00 - 8:06
We are here: Russians, Ossetians, Chechens, Afghans, we are all here
  • 8:06 - 8:07
    One big family.
