has defeated your armies at the river of Vozha!
  • 4:05 - 4:07
    Your commander murza Begich, murdered!
  • 4:07 - 4:12
-The dogs! The're all silent as if they obey,
  • 4:12 - 4:14
but if you don't keep an eye on them,
  • 4:14 - 4:16
they tear your throat in no time.
  • 4:16 - 4:21
    Go smash their heads!
  • 4:21 - 4:29
Dmitry, you'll be sitting in chains on a slave market,
  • 4:29 - 4:33
    Hey, you, vultures
  • 4:33 - 4:35
    stalkers in the night,
  • 4:35 - 4:55
Follow me to Moscow! Follow me!
  • 4:55 - 4:58
I have come to you, father.
  • 4:58 - 5:01
And I have come to meet you.
  • 5:01 - 5:03
    You know everything.
  • 5:03 - 5:07
-I do. Though we live in this monastery,
  • 5:07 - 5:10
we do not shun the worldly affairs.
  • 5:10 - 5:13
Aren't you afraid to live here, in a forest?
  • 5:13 - 5:59
-No, why? There is nothing to take from me.
  • 5:59 - 6:21
With our help, the princes have ceased to quarrel.
  • 6:21 - 6:24
    What are your names?
  • 6:24 - 6:27
-The brother is Osliabje, and I'm Peresvet.
  • 6:27 - 6:30
    -You aren't Osliabja and Peresvet,
  • 6:30 - 6:44
Your names are Rodion and Alexander.
  • 6:44 - 6:49
Mamai has gathered a terrible army,
  • 6:49 - 6:54
    and is approaching our homes.
  • 6:54 - 7:13
Bless us before the battle, father.
  • 7:13 - 7:18
    Here is your might, prince.
  • 7:18 - 8:17
With it, you shall be victorious.
  • 8:17 - 8:20
    Thank you, father.
  • 8:20 - 8:53
    You have strengthened my spirit.
  • 8:53 - 8:57
    My friends,
  • 8:57 - 9:02
    The uncalled guests are gathering.
  • 9:02 - 9:08
and we shall share the chalice with them.
  • 9:08 - 9:14
It is the fate that we have chosen.
  • 9:14 - 9:17
    Sword unsheathed,
  • 9:17 - 9:25
We have come to sacrifice for all of the Russian lands.
  • 9:25 - 9:29
For those who shall fall in battle,
  • 9:29 - 9:35
crowns of martyrdom are already being woven.
  • 9:35 - 9:41
Let this determination, defiance and valour
  • 9:41 - 9:46
forever linger in the memory of our descendants.
  • 9:46 - 9:53
    and their children after them.
  • 9:53 - 10:16
    Ivan!
  • 10:16 - 10:18
Here is the field of Kulikovo.
  • 10:18 - 10:38
    - Silence!
  • 10:38 - 11:10
    My prince, let me listen
    to the soil this night.
  • 11:10 - 11:14
I Hear the soil weep in two ways.
  • 11:14 - 11:17
It is whispering in a foreign tongue
  • 11:17 - 11:20
like an old wife over her infants.
  • 11:20 - 11:25
And it is sobbing like a russian maid
  • 11:25 - 11:32
in a sad gentle voice, akin to a flute
  • 11:32 - 11:37
The victory shall come at a great cost
  • 11:37 - 11:53
But do not tell that to anyone, my prince.
  • 11:53 - 11:56
The right wing of the army,
    led by Andrey of polotsk,
  • 11:56 - 12:00
    shall stand here.
  • 12:00 - 12:05
    - A good position.
The horde shall try to encircle us,
  • 12:05 - 12:11
As usual, but the forest shall stand in their way.
  • 12:11 - 12:14
I shall leave the central army to myself.
  • 12:14 - 12:15
    -Fine,
  • 12:15 - 12:19
And the princes of Belozero shall be to the left.
  • 12:19 - 12:23
As for you, Bobrok, you shall stay behind them
  • 12:23 - 12:25
together with prince Vladimir. Prepare an ambush.
  • 12:25 - 12:30
You're a wise commander, you shall be most usefull
  • 12:30 - 12:35
    - As the prince wishes
  • 12:35 - 12:39
You shall wait there with your army
  • 12:39 - 12:44
However long you'll have to wait, do wait,
  • 12:44 - 12:56
    - Very well
  • 12:56 - 12:59
    Do you see anything?
  • 12:59 - 13:00
    The dawn...
  • 13:00 - 13:13
The dawn is a good portent.
  • 13:13 - 13:16
The Moscow prince has crossed the Don
    with an army!
  • 13:16 - 14:37
    AI! The dog! The dog!
  • 14:37 - 14:40
    May I go, prince?
  • 14:40 - 15:22
    Go with God.
  • 15:22 - 15:25
    It hurts, mum...
  • 15:25 - 16:38
    Just sleep, son, sleep.
  • 16:38 - 16:40
    - Who is there?
  • 16:40 - 17:07
    - Andrey of Polotsk is attacking the heathens!
  • 17:07 - 17:11
    Who are you, good man?
  • 17:11 - 17:15
    A smith from Ryazan.
  • 17:15 - 17:19
    What is your name?
  • 17:19 - 18:13
    Yegor.
  • 18:13 - 18:44
Now is the time. Isn't it, commander?
  • 18:44 - 18:47
    - Now is the time. We cannot delay it any longer.
  • 18:47 - 19:10
    No!
  • 19:10 - 19:26
    Wait just a another moment.
  • 19:26 - 19:31
    We can hardly hold them!
  • 19:31 - 19:36
