Puberty will give you a new body
that can make babies if you have sex.

Also called fucking, screwing,
shagging, getting it on or making love

But before you start having sex,
you have to get to know yourself.

But you don't just change appearance,
you change as a human being as well.

To be or not to be?
That's the question.

You get new opinions
and feelings stronger than ever before

And that's because your brain changes.

No! Cut it out!

You get mood swings, anger,
frustration, sweaty hands, blushing -

- and low self-esteem.
But also great joy, tingling, -

- butterflies and crushes.

And you suddenly wanna try
stuff you thought was icky.

It goes from being yucky to yummy!

You start dreaming of holding hands,
cuddling and fondling another person.

You're so absorbed
you can't think of anything else.

Maybe you've got a crush?

You can get a crush on a TV or pop sta
or a footballer, or someone you know:

A teacher, neighbour or friend.
A girl might like a boy.

And vice versa.

But girls may like girls,
and boys can like boys.

And a girl or a boy might even
like both girls and boys.

There are so many possibilities.
Only you can find out who you like.

After a while you might want
to make out or French kiss.

You can learn to make out.
Imagine this tomato is a mouth.

Before you start,
you can take a good bite.

Now stick your tongue into
the tomato and twist it around.

This tomato doesn't have a tongue,
but it's not far from how it feels...

...when you make out. Some people
like making or getting hickeys.

But what's a hickey really?

That's what you get
when you kiss and suck.

And it works more or less
the same way as a... That's right.

Vacuum cleaner.

That hurts!

So if you suck hard enough,
tiny capillaries burst.

The result is bleeding under the skin.
Simply a bruise.

And now to what everyone starts doing
at some point, but rarely talk about.

Namely fondling your
own genitals: masturbation.

The female clitoris
and the tip of the male penis -

- are full of nerve endings,
so they feel good to touch.

And if a girl rubs
her clitoris like this, -

- or a boy rubs the tip of his penis
like this, they can achieve orgasm.

Muscles in your pubic region contract,
and a wonderful feeling -

- rushes through your body.
Boys ejaculate as well.

There are so many strange and difficul
thoughts, questions and feelings -

- that turn up in puberty.

Some of them are about sex. You have
to be above a certain age to have sex.

In Norway, the age of consent
is sixteen years. Remember:

There's no reason to rush into
having sex. It'll happen soon enough.

Let's talk about how it's done.

If for example a man and a woman
have sex, it might happen like this.

When a woman gets aroused,
the inside of her vagina turns moist.

The erectile tissue
in the clitoris and labia -

- is filled with blood and expands.

A similar thing happens to the penis.
The penis grows larger, -

- becomes stiff, and -

- some moisture appears here.
Now everything's ready.

The penis is thrust
into the vagina like this.

It glides in and out like this.

It usually goes a bit slowly at first,
then a bit faster.

But for it to be pleasant, it's vital
that the vagina is moist enough.

And for the woman, it's also
important to rub the clitoris.

After doing this for a while,
both of them can achieve orgasm.

Then the penis ejaculates
semen into the vagina as well.

But this can make babies. You may
want to have sex just for pleasure -

- and because you love each other.
Then you have to use contraceptives.

Like condoms.

This isn't how you use a condom.
But it's durable.

That's it. Puberty's over.

And the whole point is to make babies.

Because otherwise there
wouldn't be people on this planet.
