-(Daneboe) Hey guys.

Now I know you've all used a laser pointer before.

They're handy for pointing at things during presentations

or for just bugging the crap out of your pet.

But I've got a hack

that none of the manufacturers want you to know about.

We're gonna turn that laser pointer into a laser cannon.

All you'll need for this hack is a standard red laser pointer

and a screwdriver.

First, you'll want to unscrew the back compartment.

This is how you get to the batteries.

Dump out the batteries, flip it around,

and using the screwdriver, unscrew the front part.

Once this is off,

you'll be able to pop out the insides revealing the chip inside.

Now, it's very hard to see, but if you look closely,

you'll notice a small switch on the chip

where you can switch between laser pointer and laser cannon.

Just flip the switch to laser cannon.

Once that's done, carefully replace all of the components

and screw the battery cap back on.

And there you have it.

It's just that easy to hack a laser pointer.

Now make sure to always use protective eyewear

and use extreme caution when turning this thing on--
