International studies expert Dr. Zhang Yunling shares his views on "China's Dream"–-China’s bold plan to become leading power through reform, specifically a welfare state by 2020 and a developed country by 2050.

Dr. Zhang Yunling forecasts that under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, China will continue to undergo grand transformations towards an innovative economy and an urbanized society.

He emphasizes that China strives to become a "new power" by working with the existing international system and focusing on new efforts such as the One Belt One Road Initiative and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
