and five different symbols above it. The first symbol is a yellow triangle.

This symbol means that there are still some items that SFU requires for your application to be complete.
  • 0:59 - 1:05
If this applies to you, check your "To Do List" up here, you'll see a yellow triangle
  • 1:05 - 1:09
listed beside any outstanding items. Please submit these items
  • 1:09 - 1:14

  • 1:33 - 1:40
This means that SFU has received all of the necessary documents to process your application.
  • 1:40 - 1:44
We know that this student has applied to two programs and that her documents are
  • 1:44 - 1:47
complete, because green circles appear here for each program.
  • 1:47 - 1:53
Generally speaking, after your application is complete it'll take SFU Admissions Department
  • 1:53 - 1:59
approximately 3 to 4 weeks to evaluate the application. So keep checking back to this account.
  • 1:59 - 2:03
The third symbol that you may see is a green check mark.
  • 2:03 - 2:08
This means that you've received an offer of admission from SFU. If so, congratulations!
  • 2:08 - 2:15
If you've received an offer of admission, please view the next tutorial, "How to accept the offer and pay the admission deposit."

  • 2:20 - 2:25
after you've been admitted to SFU, and after you've paid the admission deposit.
  • 2:25 - 2:31
Because the next step is to enroll online, a specific date will be issued to you
  • 2:31 - 2:37
by the University for you to enroll anytime thereafter. The last symbol you may see under
  • 2:37 - 2:43
