Just a 'lil note to accompany this video. I think that fashion does and SHOULD push boundaries, and I think that you should be able to wear whatever you want. And if you do want to wear any of these items, frickken go for it - I bet you look amazing. We don't wanna shame anyone for expressing themselves however they want.

But I also think we need to acknowledge when fashion has gone far past that point and is just $400 muddy jeans, that wealthy people buy to 'get the look' of being broke/poor. Not cool. Or something that's made brand new to look either broken, or deliberately upcycled. Those kinds of clothes are made not to last and that's a major issue. And I have no problem of making fun of something that's $$$ when it's so easily replicable with the teeensiest bit of sewing knowledge and effort. VERY IMPORTANT: I'm not making fun of you for wearing something you like, *especially* if you made if yourself. But for god's sake stop buying jeans with a hole cut out of them for $900 whose makers were probably paid next-to-nothing to make it. Just thrift a pair of jeans and go at it with some scissors. It's not that hard, I promise. Donate that money you saved to a good cause instead/to my patreon ;)
