Dr. Kate Moran introduces us to the newly Internet-connected ocean, a Canadian initiative to make ocean seafloors more accesible to study and measurements. She also urges us to participate, either as citizens or scientists to the discovery of new species, by working with thousands of hours of video footage provided by the NEPTUNE and VENUS Canada Networks and Ocean Networks Canada.
