Post exercise video

    It's just another day for me.

    I went out for a walk

    today and it was quite a challenge for me.

    I walked. let's see what my phone says.

    I have a little tracker on here.

    It pretty much shows that I didn't
  • 0:22 - 0:23
    in the last week
  • 0:23 - 0:27
    because it was quite painful for me.
  • 0:27 - 0:29
    I'm working everday on it.
  • 0:29 - 0:32
    At least I'm walking a little bit.
  • 0:32 - 0:34
    So, today I've reached
  • 0:34 - 0:37
    3,000 steps
  • 0:37 - 0:39
    out of 6,000 of my goal.
  • 0:40 - 0:42
    I'm hoping to reach my goal everyday
  • 0:42 - 0:45
    to have at least 6,000 steps.
  • 0:45 - 0:47
    I've got to work up to that.
  • 0:47 - 0:50
    Not very easy when you
    suffer from fibromyalgia
  • 0:50 - 0:56
    and lack of self esteem
    because of being let go.

    You know, my body isn't
    use to being this way.

    I'm trying to fight, you know,
  • 1:02 - 1:06
    to go back to my youth.

    Turned out to be kind of a
  • 1:09 - 1:12
    stormy gray mysterious day.

    The clouds where all over the place...

    really dark clouds,
  • 1:15 - 1:17
    like it was ready to rain.

    I was very luck that I didn't get drenched.

    I just kinda walked out of there and said
  • 1:23 - 1:24
    (raised fist in defiance)

    shoot my fist against the storm, you know.

    I was an interesting walk.

    I got to talk to a few people
  • 1:36 - 1:38
    along the way that were encouraging me.

    I think I said, "Hi. I
    notice you walk by a lot."

    They were encouraging the fact
  • 1:44 - 1:47
    that I was really trying.
  • 1:47 - 1:49
    They were really rather suprised
  • 1:49 - 1:51
    about fibromyalgia.
  • 1:51 - 1:52
    They really thought that
  • 1:53 - 1:56
    that only women have that.
  • 1:56 - 1:59
    Well, unfortunately men too,

    and I'm one of them.
  • 2:05 - 2:06
    It was rather pleasant
  • 2:06 - 2:07
    experience today.
  • 2:07 - 2:08
    Although, it was kinda like
  • 2:08 - 2:10
    a little struggle.

    I felt like I didn't
  • 2:11 - 2:12
    want to walk.
  • 2:12 - 2:14
    About half way I thought
  • 2:14 - 2:15
    about giving up and saying,
  • 2:15 - 2:18
    "Oh, screw this. This is too much. "

    What I did was I kept
  • 2:20 - 2:22
    thinking about all the good things
  • 2:22 - 2:24
    and positive future goals
  • 2:24 - 2:26
    that I have for myself
  • 2:26 - 2:29
    and try to better myself.

    It's really hard to get out of the house
  • 2:33 - 2:35
    too sometimes, you know.
  • 2:35 - 2:38
    My agoraphobia gets to me
  • 2:38 - 2:42
    every once in a while.
  • 2:42 - 2:45
    It's been alright.
  • 2:46 - 2:47
    Other than weather and
  • 2:47 - 2:50
    exercising, I think that I'm looking
  • 2:50 - 2:52
    forward to a change of diet.
  • 2:52 - 2:57
    I'm not going to do anything strenuous.
  • 2:57 - 2:59
    I'm not going to go from meat eater
  • 3:00 - 3:02
    straight to vegan;
  • 3:02 - 3:07
    however, I plan to work within a diet
  • 3:07 - 3:10
    that works best for me.

    So far, the low carbs are working.

    I can feel a difference.
  • 3:15 - 3:17
    I'm hungrier more and that's
  • 3:17 - 3:21
    actually kind of a good sign.

    Part of that conquering
  • 3:22 - 3:24
    that I need to do... is to
  • 3:24 - 3:25
    work against being so
  • 3:25 - 3:32
    hungry all the time.

    I think that's pretty much

    all that I have for everybody today.

    I hope that you guys

    enjoyed what I have said.

    I will probably work on

    doing a lot video interests

    since a lot of people

    seem to enjoy my videos

    and like to hear what I have to say.

    It's kind of a challenge

    because I don't know what

    to say. I'm pretty shy. It seems so.
