Three tiger cubs born in November are fast becoming the main attraction at Cali's Zoo—but through video only, for now.
Full story:
Three fluffy Bengal tiger cubs are fast becoming a must-see for visitors to the Cali Zoo, though restricted to a video feed for now.The babies were born on November 30 to the zoo's tigress, named Indira.
Prior to the birth, the zoo had set up video cameras in the lair to record Indira's progress and the delivery.
After the cubs were born, the zoo opted to keep the cameras up and follow their progress.
The cubs must remain in the den with their mother for three months.
At that point, if the veterinarians deem them strong enough, the cubs will be allowed to venture outside and explore their surroundings.
The cubs were born yellow, although Indira is a white tigress—the result of a recessive gene.
