Mr. Nam Phong Pham - Founder, Chairman at VuPhong Solar Power (solarpower.vn)

With a desire to contribute towards clean energy in Vietnam, in Feb 2009, a young engineer - Mr. Pham Nam Phong created a website solarpower.vn providing industrial news about solar+clean energy. While he diligently researched and visited many factories producing solar panels & devices abroad, he has created an affordable production line for the Vietnamese market to empower the rural areas where people don’t even have power for daily use.

The first significant order that came to him was 14 solar power systems 510W (total capacity of 7kWp) for Bu Gia Map National Park (Binh Phuoc). This has been the transformative moment - VuPhong Solar has born since then.

From a very small start-up, now, VuPhong Solar has risen to the leading position in the field of solar power in Vietnam, and distributes to many parts of the world: Laos, Cambodia, Africa,...
