Witch Hat Atelier is a strikingly beautiful manga. When people try to explain why the love a manga so much, you might find the usual answers: "I love the characters", "really like the art", "world building!!". Which, by no means is a bad thing, but an element of manga that is not very commonly talked about it panelling.

It's very easy to confuse composition and panelling - they're both very intertwined. But Shirahama Kamome, the mangaka of Witch Hat Atelier, is one of the most defining artists at the moment, who I can truly say demonstrates the most creative use of panelling...
