Animal tracking is fun but if you're only looking at tracks on the ground then you're missing out on some of the most practical information that can help you see more wildlife. So in this video I'll give a short introduction to the ancient skill of bird language.

Bird Language is the ability to follow hidden movements of wild animals by interpreting alarm vocalizations. This is a skill that is not frequently taught and few people have mastered it with the degree of precision that is possible.

Listening to bird vocalizations adds another layer of awareness to animal tracking and makes it possible for us to discover animals that we might otherwise miss.
