MuseScore 4 - Installing Our FREE Orchestral Plugin: Muse Sounds

Muse Sounds are a set of highly
sophisticated plugins which provide

amazingly realistic playback for MuseScore.

You can install them using the
Muse Hub application. If you don't have

Muse Hub installed you can get it by
going to musescore.org

and selecting this download button.

Once the Muse Hub is installed

you'll see the available Sounds here
in the main section and also in
0:27 - 0:28

the sounds section.
0:31 - 0:34

Just select the sounds you want and
they'll begin downloading right away.

Once they're fully downloaded, just
launch MuseScore and the new sounds will
0:38 - 0:42

be assigned by default. Bear in mind that
if you've not yet downloaded the sounds
0:42 - 0:45

for a specific instrument family
MuseScore will default to its native
0:45 - 0:47

sound font Muse Basic instead.
0:47 - 0:51

Also make sure to try out our
new suite of VST effects

which you'll find in the effects section.

Once downloaded these can be
applied in our new mixer panel.
