We're off to a relaxed start.

Today, we took photos of us modeling our tour merch.

I asked the members for some of their time after that.

Since our tour starts in April,

I'd like to talk a little about it with everyone.

All of the band members are in this one.

-It's pretty rare.
-Yeah.

I feel bad about asking for some of your guys' time.

-Your channel's not really about [the band] in the first place.
-That's right.

Basically all of my videos are personal ones.

Our nationwide tour of Zepp venues starts in April.

It's called "unlimited UTOPIA."

It'll be our first [domestic] tour in forever where audience vocalization will be allowed.

The rules are changing a bit,

and this tour will be a new opportunity for us.

We've been posting about it on social media,

but I thought it would be good for the four of us to discuss it,

so we're all going to talk about it today.

We can't wait for it, right?

I'm genuinely looking forward to it.

It's been a long time since our last solo tour in Japan where vocalizing was allowed.

We kept that in mind as we put together the setlist.

We hope to deliver very special performances.

-We're pretty excited.
-Yeah.

We'll start rehearsals for it in a bit.

We decided on the setlist earlier.

-It's pretty insane.
-Right?

It's an explosive setlist.

Like, we don't really...

We put together a setlist ahead of time

instead of deciding on it on the spot.

We perform the songs in our heads

and decide on them that way,

so it's always a mess.

-Looking at it all again.
-That's true.

But this a setlist that attendees will definitely be satisfied with.

We really want to hear their voices.

For this setlist, there'll be so much vocalization that it's almost annoying.

That's true.

It won't work if people don't vocalize.

-That's what these concerts will be.
-Yeah.

-They're really being put to the test.
-We'll be all embarrassed if there's no vocalization.

It's like, "Please do this!"

It's probably better to over-prepare.

-Like, watch our past live videos.
-Yeah.

Have them guess what kind of songs there will be.

I see.

First, songs...

-Songs where the audience vocalizes.
-Right.

Go back and listen to songs based on that.

That's true.

The tour isn't in support of an album,

-so the songs are pulled from across our eras.
-That's right.

-We'll also be playing songs we haven't in a while.
-We are.

It'll be a pretty noteworthy tour.

Those who have recently become fans

have never been to a SCANDAL concert where vocalizing was allowed,

or maybe have never seen us live, period.

They might be a little nervous.

I'd like to assure those people.

Although vocalizing is allowed,

the top thing we want is for fans watch the show however they'd like to.

So if you just want to watch it quietly, that's totally fine.

It's not like there's a set groove.

(There are no rules that say "You must do this!"◎)

That's why we want first-timers to feel free to do whatever

without worrying too much.

Those who have previously seen us live where vocalizing was allowed,

we definitely want you to vocalize!

(Sing loudly!)

(Shout our names!)

-It's kind of like, "How did vocalizing go, again?"
-That's right.

-True.
-That's possible.

-So warm your throat up a bit.
-Yeah.

-Practice doing it.
-Go, "Ah, ah" beforehand.

-At first, you might stumble.
-I think so.

I went to a Tavito Nanao concert recently.

Tavito likes to have everyone sing the melodies.

I went by myself.

It really spread out.

It had been a long time since we all vocalized,

so when it started from the front row and slowly worked back,

it was like, "Here it comes!"

I was like that, too.

My voice was kind of shaking at first,

-but I was really happy.
-That's true.

Once you vocalize, do as you please.

-Until your throat opens up.
-Yeah.

It's kind of nerve-racking,

-until you do it.
-Yeah.

-Also, we're planning on doing that for the first song, right?
-Yeah.

In the before times,

even if you didn't vocalize,

if you thought about vocalizing after moving your body...

-It's like you were awakened.
-Yeah.

-That's true.
-Yeah.

The shows will start with that.

That's right.

We just have to follow through.

(What is this song that we just have to follow through on?)

It's not like we're asking people to vocalize right off the bat.

-We'll be like, "Let's go!"
-Yeah.

(Let's go?)

We're going to drive them away.

At any rate, we'd really like you guys to come out.

We really want first timers as well as those who haven't been in a while to come out.

We always get a lot of questions about this:

What is our fanbase like?

That's something they don't know.

Like, "Is it okay for adults to go?"

"Is it okay if I go by myself?"

We always get those questions.

We want anyone and everyone to come.

We're ready to welcome anyone.

There really are a lot of people who come by themselves.

And those who do sometimes end up making friends.

I think that the experience of going to a concert

truly is something that lasts a lifetime.

We'd like for everyone to experience it at least once.

In the past,

we could partly tell what our fanbase was by looking at it,

-but now we don't know.
-That's true.

It's quite varied.

People across all ages come,

as well as genders.

Borders don't matter, either.

People from overseas come as well.

It doesn't matter.

(Comrades who love the same music)

Seriously, don't worry and just come out.

-It's surprisingly fun to attend by yourself.
-It is.

You've done it before?

I have, quite a number of times.

Like, even if you're not your usual self, no one would know.

So even if you vocalize or put your hand up,

there's no one around that knows you.

It feels very freeing.

It's pretty nice.

Yeah, and for me...

When I go see an artist I like,

they have those panels and stuff you can use for Instagram photos

where you put your face in it,

and I can ask people I don't know to take my photo.

(Memories = Happiness)

Yeah, I ask them to take photos.

Surprisingly...

Well, that's not exactly a step towards vocalization,

but once you take the plunge on something, there's really nothing to be afraid of.

It's actually fun.

It's like you can do anything.

It's nice.

There were fan club members who would come see us in the past,

and the atmosphere that they created was really powerful.

They created an atmosphere that was easy to join.

So that's why I'd like for people to feel free to take the first step.

I think this will be a special tour.

It's right before our 17th anniversary.
(Our 17th anniversary is August 21, 2023)

This is the last chance to see us in our 16th year.

We might play a concert after breaking the Guinness World Record.

Yeah, maybe a solo concert.

-We might.
-Yeah.
