(Exodus; 16:13-21) 0:11:19.723,0:11:22.461 This was one arrangement [br]God made for them. 0:11:22.936,0:11:25.310 The second was that [br]He sent down the Salwa. 0:11:26.735,0:11:28.263 I have written, 0:11:28.263,0:11:31.914 Salwa refers to the birds, which [br]the Almighty sent upon the Israelites 0:11:31.914,0:11:34.244 in the desert of Sinai. 0:11:34.821,0:11:41.922 They resembled the quails and like them [br]were easy to hunt down. 0:11:43.237,0:11:45.437 The Bible says in Exodus 16: 0:11:45.437,0:11:52.910 The Israelites said to them, ‘If only we[br]had died by the LORD’s hand in Egypt! 0:11:52.910,0:11:56.715 There we sat around pots of meat and [br]ate all the food we wanted, ... 0:11:57.336,0:11:59.898 Strange was the condition of this nation! 0:12:00.769,0:12:05.511 They started complaining thus in the[br]presence of God's prophet! 0:12:06.997,0:12:09.998 ... but you have brought us out [br]into this desert 0:12:09.998,0:12:11.947 to starve this entire assembly to death.’ 0:12:11.947,0:12:14.655 They said this to Prophet Moses (pbuh). 0:12:15.254,0:12:20.243 The Qur'an has mentioned that they [br]troubled Moses (pbuh) a lot. 0:12:21.470,0:12:26.966 How will that nation be blessed that [br]makes life difficult for its own prophet? 0:12:29.307,0:12:33.490 … The LORD said to Moses, ‘I have heard[br]the grumbling of the Israelites. 0:12:33.490,0:12:37.394 Tell them, “At twilight, [br]you will eat meat, 0:12:37.394,0:12:40.146 and in the morning [br]you will be filled with bread. 0:12:40.146,0:12:43.882 Then you will know that [br]I am the LORD your God.” 0:12:43.882,0:12:48.203 That evening quail came [br]and covered the camp.
