Those who disregard[br]the promise to Allah or cross the limit 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 shamelessly claim to be God fearing [br]and pious people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They are just living in their imaginations[br]and have no relevance. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what was stated in the preceding [br]verses of the Quran. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Innallazeena yashtaroona bi aahdilleahi 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Indeed, those who trade Allah’s covenant [br]and their oaths for a fleeting gain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the earlier verse, it was mentioned [br]that who are the pious 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and God fearing people… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now, the Quran states that those [br]who trade Allah’s covenant and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 their oaths for a fleeting gain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What is intended from this covenant? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is evident that it is with regard to [br]covenant asked from jews in relation 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to God’s Shariah (Islamic Law) and the [br]advent of the Prophet (pbuh). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And with respect to the oaths; it is [br]mentioned in context to the oaths 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 by the jews to the Prophets and in specific[br]to help and support Prophet (pbuh). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 These oaths will be explicitly stated [br]in verse 81, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we will learn about them when we [br]read, as to what oaths did they take. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Innallazeena yashtaroona bi aahdilleahi [br]va aymeanihim samanan kaaleelan 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Indeed, those who trade Allah’s covenant [br]and their oaths for a fleeting gain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran stated that, they think of [br]themselves as beloved to God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 while trading Allah’s covenant and [br]oaths for fleeting gains. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 uleaika lea haalaakaa lahum feel eahıraati 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No matter how religiously they present [br]themselves, and think that they are 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 superior to others, they will have no [br]share in the Hereafter. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Those who keep Allah’s covenant and [br]oaths, the ones who have honest affairs 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and act in accordance with the law [br]of religion. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They are the ones who have a share [br]in the Hereafter. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 uleaika lea haalaakaa lahum feel eahıraati 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The misconception that the jews have [br]that they are the beloved people of God 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and that they will be specially treated… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In Fact there is no doubt that jews are [br]a special group of people 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as is stated in the Quran. Jews were [br]chosen by God, given a rank 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and responsibility. Even after all this [br]the Quran states that the rank given 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to the jews was based on merit, it [br]was given with a purpose and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 has its own limitations. However, it is [br]not like; jews will forever enjoy the rank 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and its status - whereas do no good to [br]the responsibility delegated to them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There is no possibility of it. uleaika lea[br]haalaakaa lahum feel eahıraati 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they are the ones who will have no share [br]in the Hereafter. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va lea yukallimuhumulleahu Allah will [br]not speak to them 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 on the Day of resurrection. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They are the ones who are rejected [br]in the court of Allah… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In reality this is the outcome of [br]Laanath (Driven out of Gods mercy). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In our terminology Laanat is used as [br]an abusive term, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but it actually means to drive out [br]someone from Gods mercy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Yukallimuhumulleahu Allah will not [br]speak to them on the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Day of resurrection va lea yanzuru [br]ilayhim yavmal kıyeamati and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God will not look at them with kindness [br]on the Day of Resurrection. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Like you say, God will not even like to [br]see them or look at them with kindness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va lea yuzakkeehim And God will not [br]exonerate them of their sins 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va lahum aazeabun aleem and for [br]them there is a painful torment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As the Quran states that they will not [br]be exonerated of their sins. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What is the meaning of it? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It means that they have committed grave [br]offences for which there is little scope 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of punishment and reward. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is evident from the verse that when [br]the sins are so grave… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 May Allah guide us towards good, so that [br]every Muslim may enter the paradise 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in the very first instance. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 From this verse we understand that there [br]can be certain transgressions that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 are beyond the scope of punishment [br]and reward. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If an individual can not rectify his [br]offenses through good deeds, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah removes the remnants of any [br]wrongdoing by a punishment, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 because it is necessary to enter heaven [br]unpolluted. Quran mentioned that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they will not even ascertain this [br]chastity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va lahum aazeabun aleem for them [br]there is a painful torment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is evident from this verse that, [br]how big a sin it is?[br] 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to break Allah’s Covenant, willingly [br]deny the truth and oaths with Allah. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is the level of this wrongdoing in [br]respect of the Prophet (pbuh) and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it is no else an offense in any other [br]circumstances. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran has explicitly detailed it out. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran has made an analogy in the [br]last two verses and stated that, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in normal circumstances the jews [br]degraded themselves, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that is the reason here in case they [br]came to a point of Allah’s covenant 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and their oaths for a fleeting gain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Therefore, morality among people can [br]have Allah’s mercy and kindness, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 if these people will have good intentions,[br]true faith in God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 try to be a devout Muslim and not deny [br]the truth by God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but commited certains other offences. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In that case, a glad tiding was received [br]that Allah would warn and punish them 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but eventually wash them of their [br]transgressions. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And then they can enter into heaven. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what has been explained in [br]the Hadiths. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is the real crux, but many-a-times [br]the narrators try to portray 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 this in a very different style, which [br]changes its real meaning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what the Quran has explained. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran states that Va inna minhum la[br]fareekaan yalvoona alsinatahum bil kiteabi 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And most surely there is a party of them [br](people of the Book) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 who distort the Book with their tongues [br]that you may consider it to be of the Book 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 li taahsaboohu minal kiteabi va mea [br]huva minal kiteab(kiteabi) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you may think it is from the book, but it [br]is not from the book. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Just imagine to what extent people [br]can go. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you try to connect it with the previous[br]verses, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you will understand that these words [br]carry extreme displeasure and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 hate from Allah towards these people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How Allah gave them a status and [br]treated them accordingly… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 indeed they deserved this punishment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As Allah explains, that neither he would [br]look down on them with kindness, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 nor speak to them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Infact Allah mentions that he will not [br]even purify them of their sins 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 so that they could enter heaven. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They will live in this torment forever. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you try to understand their status, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I even gave an example to help you [br]understand that when the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 wives of the Prophet (pbuh) were chosen [br]for this status, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it was explicitly made clear that now [br]their reward and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 punishment both are doubled, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 i.e., when you are chosen for a position [br]and you decide to take up the charge, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 then you must be ready to take up the [br]responsibilities that may arise. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran says: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There are some among them… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Its is obvious that is related to [br]the interpretation that if they 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 want to save themselves from [br]responsibilities 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the covenants of God, then how do [br]they distort the Book? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There are two aspects of it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 One you alter the book and its meaning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The other aspect is that, since majority [br]of the people are illiterate, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 therefore, you distort the book with [br]mere tongues and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 change the meaning of the verse [br]in its entirety, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 i.e., you did not alter the words but [br]distorted the meaning with your tongue, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that is what has been mentioned here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There are people who… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 yalvoona alsinatahum bil kiteabi 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There are some among them who [br]distort the Book with their tongues 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 li taahsaboohu minal kiteabi to make [br]you think this ˹distortion˺ 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is from the Book va mea huva minal [br]kiteab but it is not what the Book says. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va yakooloona hu va min indilleahi that [br]you may consider it to be 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the Book from God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va mea huva min indilleah even though [br]it is not from God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va yakooloona aalealleahil kaziba va [br]hum yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And they speak untruth about Allah [br]while they know. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The crime that has been mentioned here [br]has been perpetrated 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 by both jews and christians. In the [br]earlier chapter of Al-Bakara, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it was detailed out how jews and [br]christains alters the meaning 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the word MARWA with their tongues. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The word “Marwa” was used when [br]Prophet Abraham (pbuh) was asked 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to sacrifice Prophet Ismael, his son. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Apart from other alterations to this [br]incident of sacrifice not only did the jews 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 add the name of Prophet Isaac but also [br]ruined the pronunciation of the word Marwa. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, this is the type of alteration that has [br]been mentioned here in this verse, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that you alter the meaning of a word in [br]order to divert people's attention 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to a different topic while concealing the [br]real meaning. In order to conceal 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the fact that Prophet Abraham (pbuh) [br]came to Arab, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 build the house of God, his lineage was [br]floriesed in the soil and also 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 about the incident of Ismael’s [br]sacrifice, therefore, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 anticipating the outcomes of how it[br]could relate to the advent of Prophet (pbuh), 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 jews manipulated the word Marwa. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is an example of how they concealed [br]the facts in history, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 so as to disassociate the relation of [br]Prophet Abraham with the house of God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is just an example that [br]I have quoted… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what has been explained here… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is explained that even in the case [br]of the Prophet (pbuh), 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 when they are unfair, they can go [br]down to any level. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 People used to go to the [br]Prophet (pbuh)... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 when the Quran repeatedly mentioned [br]about the foretelling, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 people used to go to the Prophet (pbuh) [br]and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 ask him about the foretelling mentioned [br]in the Quran. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is how the Quran has captured the [br]scene of what their 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 religious leaders used to do. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what has been mentioned [br]in the Quran, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that they would distort the real facts [br]and alter the meaning of it, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to convey it as the book of God, but [br]it is not from the book. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They would give you and impression, [br]that it is from the book of God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 when it is not. The Quran stated: [br]Mea keana li basharin an 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 yu’tiyahulleahul kiteaba val hukma [br]van nubuvvata summa yakoola 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 lin neasi koonoo ıbeadan lee min [br]doonilleahi It is not appropriate 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 for someone who Allah has blessed [br]with the Scripture, wisdom, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and prophethood to say to people, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Worship me instead of Allah.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 yu’tiyahulleahul kiteaba val hukma 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is not appropriate for someone who [br]Allah has blessed with his command, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 wan nubuvvata and bestow him with [br]prophethood summa yakoola 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 lin neasi koonoo ıbeadan lee min [br]doonilleahi “Worship me instead of Allah.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How is it possible? Since, Christians are [br]addressed in this verse, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How is it possible that God send down [br]his book to the Christians, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and guided them as to decide in the [br]religious matter in accordance 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with the book of God and even appointed [br]from them for the status of prophethood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And instead of inviting people to worship [br]God, how could they propagate 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 their own worship instead? [br]How is it possible? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God says, it cannot be. Christian cannot [br]say: koonoo ıbeadan lee min doonilleahi 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Be servants to me apart from Allah, [br]No! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va leakin koonoo raabbeaniyyeena bi mea [br]kuntum tuaallimoonal kiteaba 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but rather say “be Godly servants”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Why would he (christian) ask you to [br]be his servant, rather he would ask you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to be raabbeani (Godly servants). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The word raabbeani means worshipper [br]of God (Godly servants). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Same is the meaning of Maulvi in [br]our society. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is indeed a beautiful word, but a [br]wrong interpretation 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 leads us to this place. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Infact, we learn from the Quran that the [br]religious scholars of christians were 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 reffered to as “Rabbanni”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Like we use the term “Mualivi” for our [br]religious leaders, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 its roots are in the word “Maula”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Similarly, Rabbani word in rooted in [br]the word “Rab”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, this word was used in context of [br]worshipper of God, Godly servants. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran say: This is what the Prophet [br]would preach. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran also mentions that the Prophet [br]would never mention as 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to a specific number of people to [br]become Maulvi (religious scholar) or 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Rabbani (worshipper of God). He would [br]invite everyone to worship God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 bi mea kuntum tuaallimoonal kiteaba [br]but [instead, he would say], 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 "Be pious scholars of the Lord because [br]of what you have taught 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the Scripture and because of what [br]you have studied." 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 va bimea kuntum tadrusoon[br] 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but he will surely say, “Be sincere [br]worshippers of Allah, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 because you teach the Book and [br]you preach from it.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Va lea ya’murakum an tattahizool [br]maleaikata van nabiyyeena arbeabea 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And he would never ask you to take angels [br]and prophets as lords. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He would never ask you. he would never [br]ask you to take angels and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 prophets as lords. a ya’murukum bil kufri [br]baa’da iz antum muslimoon 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Would he ask you to disbelieve after [br]you have submitted? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran, while addressing the common [br]sense of jews, christians and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 even quraish of mecca, rather everyone [br]made aware of the fact that the Prophets 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 only call to Iman which commands [br]worshiping Allah Alone without partners. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And if you ever come across something [br]like this, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 never accept it to be from a legitimate [br]source. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 After going through something like this, [br]you must be well aware that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 this is nothing but the alteration of the[br]meaning and verses 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 by people who went astray. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No Prophet can invite you to this [br]sort of religion. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Look how there is an assay-balance [br]explained in the Quran. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The one who hasthe book of God, the [br]one who has been blessed with 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the abilities to better comprehend and [br]decide on religious matters in 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 accordance with the book of God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The one who would be stationed at the [br]position of prophethood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What would he say to the people? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He would always guide people that invite [br]them to the right path 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of Tawhid (oneness of God). Only Tawhid, [br]nothing more than that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He would never ask people to submit [br]and worship him instead of God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He would never boast about himself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The one having the knowledge of the [br]book would never exaggerate 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and boast about the angels [br]and Prophets. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He would only invite you to say one thing [br]and that tawheed, the Oneness of God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah says in the Quran, If you come [br]across anything that is contrary 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to the oneness of God, then that is not [br]from God, but fabrication of the message. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is not possible that after inviting you[br]to Islam and the oneness of God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the prophet word then ask you to [br]make partners with God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It does not possible that the Prophet [br]would first invite you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to the religion of God that is Islam and [br]then asked you to worship him instead. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is not possible that first the Prophet [br](pbuh) would invite you to 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the oneness of God and then ask you [br]to worship him. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This was the equilibrium that was put [br]forth to the jews, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 if you read Torah, Bible even today, [br]you will find them supporting 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the oneness of God in entirety. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can better comprehend this [br]statement which is explained 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 here in context, only when you will [br]understand that since, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you have the books of your Prophets [br]with you. Do you ever see that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the Prophet is inviting people to [br]worship him? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Or give the status of God to someone? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then how do you believe in it? if Jesus [br]himself propagated the Oneness of God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 stressed on Iman and good deeds, [br]and make this as a foundation 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of invitation towards the right path. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Even after thousands of years Torah, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 revealed by Prophet Moses (pbuh) [br]preachers the same facts 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 about the Oneness of God, how is it [br]possible than 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 when the religious scholars try to [br]explain the preaching 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the book of God, how can they ask people[br]to worship the Prophet (pbuh) instead of God? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what has been stressed over [br]here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Is it possible that first the Prophet [br](pbuh) would work hard all his life 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to invite people to the religion Islam and[br]then ask them to submit to him 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and worship him instead? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is not possible, When you analyze two [br]aspects of it, one what the Prophet (pbuh) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 taught us and second what is being done [br]after the Prophet (pbuh), 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you will gain a deeper understanding [br]of it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what is being explained [br]over here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what is being stated in the Quran: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a ya’murukum bil kufri baa’da iz antum [br]muslimoon, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the Prophet (pbuh) invited people towards [br]the religion of Islam, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 towards the onesness of God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Even today this invitation towards the [br]right path is clearly stated 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in the book of God. Then did the Prophet [br](pbuh) proclaim that he has 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 attained Godly powers, or there are [br]some attributes of God 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that are manifested in him? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Did the Prophet (pbuh) ever announce [br]that he has received the divine powers? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When did the Prophet (pbuh) ever say [br]something like this that you are saying 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to people after He is gone? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what has been mentioned [br]in the Quran. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You will better comprehend this when [br]you will compare the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 meaning of the word muslimoon with [br]ya’murukum bil kufri. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How is it possible? When the Prophet [br](pbuh) himself proclaimed 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 about the oneness of God and stood [br]by it throughout His life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How is it possible that He might have [br]said something of this sort, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that you claim the Prophet (pbuh) has [br]mentioned about his own divinity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How is it possible that the Prophet (pbuh)[br]first presented himself 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as the servant of God and preached [br]about Iman and Tawhiid, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as in accordance with the verses of [br]the Quran. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And then in no time we came to [br]know different stories of a completely 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 different perspective about the Prophet [br](pbuh) attaining the virtue of divinity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 While inviting people to Islam, was the [br]Prophet (pbuh) asking people 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to unbelief after they became Muslim. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what has been mentioned in this [br]term a ya’murukum bil kufri baa’da 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 iz antum muslimoon Would he ask you [br]to disbelieve after you have submitted? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Messenger of Allah can never do [br]something like this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Prophet (pbuh) only invites people [br]to Tawhiid and preaches about 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the oneness of God till the end. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Va iz ahaazaalleahu meeseakaan nabiyyeena 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 [O Prophet! Remind them of the time] [br]When Allah took the Covenant 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 from them regarding the prophets. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Va iz ahaazaalleahu meeseakaan [br]nabiyyeena 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When Allah took the Covenant from [br]them regarding the prophets. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What was the Covenant? lamea eataytukum [br]min kiteabin va hikmatin. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah says in the Quran that: I have [br]given you the Shariyat (Islamic Laws) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and the Wisdom. summa ceaakum [br]rasoolun 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 then a Rasul (Messenger) comes to you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah took the Covenant from them [br]regarding the prophets, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and reminded them of who they are, [br]giving them the Book and the Wisdom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In other words, after explaining all the [br]content, Allah mentions that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 he has given them his religion, [br]i.e., Islam. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There was a possibility of deviating [br]from the right path only when there 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 would have been no clear guidance [br]from God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As the Quran says: It is possible that [br]someone might not have 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 received God’s guidance or the book, [br]and in that case 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 if there is any misunderstanding. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Here it is introduced in a way, that when [br]Allah took the Covenant from you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 regarding the Prophets, and raised [br]you as a Umma. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Do you remember what you were bestowed [br]upon from God? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He gave you the light of his religion… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran has mentioned a lot of places [br]that the religion is composed 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of only two things, one Shariyat (Islamic [br]Laws) and Hikmmat (wisdom). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What does wisdom mean? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Wisdom is to do with faith and morality. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In philosophical terminology you interpret[br]it as metaphysics and ethics. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In reality the religion is to do with both[br]metaphysics and ethics, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and serve as the foundation for developing[br]laws. And those laws are known as Shariyat 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Quran states that: you were given [br]both the Shariyat and the Wisdom 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and then you were asked to take [br]an oath. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 summa jeaakum rasoolun, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 if a Rasul (Messenger) comes to you [br]musaaddikun limea maaakum 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a Rasul (Messenger) comes to you [br]confirming that which is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with you (Shariyat, Wisdom that [br]Allah had given to you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and the predictions about the coming [br]of a Prophet) and comes to you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 confirming that then what would [br]you do? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 la tu’minunna bihee you must definitely [br]believe in him va la taansurunnahu 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and you must definitely help him. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Therefore, this was the covenant that [br]Allah took from the Israelites. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Though ordinary words are used in this [br]covenant viz; when 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a Rasul (Messenger) comes, it is amply [br]clear that it is pointing out towards 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the Prophet (pbuh). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In Fact they were part of this covenant [br]even in the times of other prophets 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that used to come to them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But this was a special oath in relation [br]to the Prophet (pbuh), 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as is mentioned in their books that he [br]would not bring about 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a new religion all together, but confirm [br]the relation that is already in practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is your own problem that you denied [br]something that was already present 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and the Prophet (pbuh) was only [br]confirming about the religion 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that was already with you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You took up the heavy responsibility [br]of that Covenant, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but when you had to confirm. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You denied having any such oath and [br]did not confirm. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is a crime. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As Jesus says: the bridegrooms wait [br]for their brides throughout the night 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and when the time is near, they [br]do not wait. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This responsibility was shouldered [br]by you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah says, [remind them] Allah took [br]the Covenant about the Prophets, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and the covenant was that whenever [br]any of God’s Prophet would 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 come musaaddikun limea maaakum [br]a Rasul (Messenger) would come to you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 confirming about what is already with [br]you (Shariyat, Wisdom that Allah had 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 given to you and the predictions about [br]the coming of a Prophet in Torah 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and Bible) and comes to you confirming [br]that must definitely believe in him, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you must definitely help him. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Kala a aakraartum va ahaaztum aalea [br]zealikum ısree Allah said: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Do you agree and accept (My Oath)”? To [br]understand this verse, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we should consult Bible and Torah. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Whenever these covenants were [br]taken from them, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 every time they were asked to confirm, [br]you will transfer this knowledge 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to you next generation and spread the [br]word among people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Prophet Moses (pbuh) used to take this [br]oath with due planning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah asked: Kaalu, and what did your [br]ancestors answer to that? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Aakraarnea (They) said: “We agree”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 keala fashhadoo Then bear witness va ana [br]maaakum minash sheahideen (Allah) said: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Then bear witness and I am of the bearers[br]of witness with you”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Fa man tavallea baa’da zealika fa uleaika [br]humul feasikoon Whoever therefore 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 turns back after this (denies the Messenger[br]that will come after the Prophets), 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they are the Fâsiqûn (those who are not [br]in the Way of Allah or 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 have gone out of it, transgressors). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah reminds them of this is how, they [br]were asked to asked 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to follow the Prophet (pbuh) and help [br]him in his cause of religion. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This covenant was taken in relation to [br]all the Prophets of God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but here in case the Quran is pointing [br]out towards Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I reiterate what i mentioned earlier, these[br]words Fa man tavallea baa’da zealika 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that even after this, if someone turns [br]back after this (denies the Messenger 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that will come after the Prophets) then [br]there is no doubt that they 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 are the Fasiqun (those who are not in [br]the Way of Allah or transgressors). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The meaning of Fasiqun in the Quranic [br]terminology is disobedient. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Even after making it clear and taking the[br]Covenant from them regarding the Prophets. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Even then you are hell bent towards [br]this attitude... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you read Bible you will come to know [br]that the Israelites leaders are assembled 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in a place and different group of people [br]join them, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they are all assembled in a place of [br]worship, Prophet Moses (pbuh) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 first explained the oath well and only [br]after that took their consent. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He Instructed them to bear witness and [br]know the consequences of this life 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and the hereafter if any one of them [br]turns their back to the covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Covenant about the rewards and [br]punishments from Allah, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 about Shariah and Prophets are taken in [br]the same way. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What a state of remorse it is for the [br]Israelites that Allah reminds them 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 how he took oath from them and still [br]you are denying that covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A fa gaayra deenilleahi yabgoona. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah says in the Quran: Prophets used to [br]come in the same way; 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the way in which they have covenants [br]with Allah. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Prophet (pbuh) came in the same [br]way as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Prophets came to fulfill those covenants [br]that you promised to Allah. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Allah says: since they came with the same [br]message and religion, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 then are they looking for some new [br]religion altogether? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Are they denying it?
