WEBVTT 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 I have been interested in area-restricted accounts for an extremely long time now. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 It's this; the Karamja-only Ultimate Ironman, 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 which I've had this idea for so long 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 and it's a really cool thing to challenge myself with. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 And I think it'd be really interesting to watch. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 To craft your own journey and to play by your own rules 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 has something beautiful to it. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 To overcome your limitations and find joy in places no one has before 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 is such an incredibly cool thing to me. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 There's no account too obscure, there's no account too ridiculous 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 because that simply isn't a real concept. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 What's RuneScape about if not about setting goals and accomplishing them? 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 That's the beauty of the game; there is no wrong way to play. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 I've always enjoyed challenging myself and 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 I'm constantly searching for a way to improve myself and push my limits. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 This is where the account comes in. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 I create the goals, I create the limitations, 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 and see how far they can be pushed. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 Meet my Morytania-only Ultimate Ironman. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 When creating this challenge, there were two things that were certain. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 I wanted to be the first to attempt this specific challenge 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 and I wanted to begin the challenge with as little exceptions and benefits 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 as I could possibly give myself. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 This means getting to Morytania with as low stats and items as I possibly can, 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 but at the same time, not restricting myself from the majority of the gameplay. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 Getting to Morytania posed a few obstacles, 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 especially when trying to do it with the lowest stats I possibly could. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 There are two main NPC's that made this difficult. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 The Temple Guardian and the level 30 Zammy Mage in the church. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 There is one skill that turned out to be the perfect way to get past the challenge. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 A skill that had absolutely no use in Morytania, that would let me bypass 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 one of these obstacles without any unnecessary combat gained. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 And that's thieving. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 I started by getting 32 Thieving and pickpocketing the rogues 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 in level 55 wilderness for a poisoned iron dagger. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 This is the lowest tier of poison, and it has a 12.5% chance 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 to affect the target and it does about 4 damage every 15 seconds. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 After about 10 minutes, the Temple Guardian fell. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 The next obstacle is a bit more interesting. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 The Zammy Mage belongs to a very special set of NPC's. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 NPC's designed for very old quest code. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 A normal NPC regenerates 1 HP every 60 seconds, while the Zamorak Mage 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 actually regenerates 3 HP every 15 seconds. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 This makes it impossible to kill the Zammy Mage with only poison. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 My friend Mannis was able to brew his range down to 1, 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 and then hit a 1 with bronze darts, giving a 100% chance to venom. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 The Zammy Mage would regen this HP and then I would hit a 1 making it my kill 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 by the time the venom had killed him. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 With all that done, I allowed myself Restless Ghost as it simply locked 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 way too much content. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 Finished Priest in Peril getting 4 Mining because of the pure essence 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 that I needed to finish the quest. 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 I completed Druidic Ritual as Herblore also locked way too much content 99:59:59.999 --> 99:59:59.999 to make the gameplay interesting.
