Translation & Subtitles: thoseguiltyeyes | scandal-heaven.com Hello, RINA here! I'm filming in my kitchen for the first time. I woke up and did my makeup. I still haven't eaten, so I'll be making some lunch. For some reason I've really been wanting to eat pancakes. This is the pancake mix I bought. I was really interested in this one. I'll be cooking this. This is my first time making this one. You put milk directly into the jug. I'm using this milk. It's my second one. Meiji's organic milk. Then... You fill it up to this line. Adding it now. You have to put quite a bit in. Shake it for one minute. It's getting really thick. I wonder if it's been a minute already. I'll be cooking the pancakes now. Done! They were done in an instant. I'll eat them now. Here I go. It's been a while since I've eaten pancakes. You want to eat them once in a while, don't you~ Here I go. It's delicious! It's really good. I think I'll talk as I eat. I've really been wanting to film a video as I eat. I really like mukbangs. Watching them as well. It's really good. On my way back from the studio the other day, someone called out to me saying, "I'm a YouTube subscriber!" for the first time. That really made me happy. It felt really fresh. There seem to be a lot of people who know me from YouTube. Recently I uploaded a weekly vlog, and in the subs of the clip where we were all eating in the dressing room, I put the names of my band members, manager, and I also included our staff from "her." More than half knew who they were, but there were some who watched my videos for the first time and didn't understand who our staff is, so I'll explain it a bit. "her" is the name of our band's private imprint label. The four of us established this label about two years ago. We release our music and our videos through it. We had previously been with the same label for 10 years ever since our major label debut. When 10 years passed and were wondering what our next step would be, we thought we'd try refreshing the environment in which we make music in. We wanted to see what we could do and thought about that a lot. The four of us started from wanting to do something for the first time, and we decided to launch our own imprint label. Of course, we had the support of many staff members, which is how we were able to launch it. When we were deciding on a label name, we had a rough idea of wanting to go with a name that let you know the label is affiliated with women. We thought about going with a name that made that easy to picture. There were a lot of candidates, but the name "her" sounded the best to us at the time. So, we decided to go with "her" for our label name. We didn't fully understand what it was all about when we started it, but we went with that name. As we carried on with the label, the content of it began to unravel— Rather, it felt strange that we were deciding things ourselves. More and more we felt that we wanted to do was linked to the name of our label. What we now know clearly is that we want to be a band while valuing being women. That is what's clear to us. With how things are going on in the world right now, we've had more time to think about that we want to do, and what we've really been thinking about recently is that it's very important that we ourselves feel happy. There are certainly times when writing songs or playing shows can feel like a chore, but we also feel that when we produce something good, we can't be satisfied with it unless we go through hardships to some extent. Continuing to act with even more freedom... How should I put this... It doesn't mean that we can slack off, nor that it'll be smooth sailing. Being able to play music freely... That's not something we realized even more after starting "her," but what suits our current pace is our label "her." (This has gotten emotional.) We wondered what we could consider as happiness right now, and that's to convey what we think, how we live, and how we think. Those who catch that can hopefully become a better person than they were before, like themselves for who they are, feel brighter, feel more motivated. Having people seeing us like that and understanding what we're trying to say would make us really happy. So that's why we think it'd be great if we could communicate our thoughts in all kinds of ways. We've come to think that it's great to have many different outputs. It's important to produce results, but it's even more important to do something you want to cherish or what makes you feel happy. (Is this a concert MC or what?) This may also apply to YouTube, but I really do like creating things outside of music. I think of the best way to convey my thoughts at a given time, and if I could do so in different ways, then that'd be great. Whoever accepts them and decides to challenge themselves, that could be a positive thing gained for them, which would make me happy. If you have something you want to do, it's fine to start small. Just go for it. I don't think it has anything to do with age or gender. I'm often asked, "I'm __ years old; is it too late for me to start playing the drums?" I don't think it's ever too late to start playing an instrument. You can do it at any age, In any kind of way. You should do what you want to do. I'm asked things like, "How should I express my personality?", but I think it completely differs for each person. That's why I feel that everyone has their own personality from the start by just doing what they want to do. We're all different from the get-go. It's normal to think about what the results of something you do will be; what others will think of you; or if you can do something, but you only do what you can do. Rather, that can be an obstacle in itself. but when you really try doing what you want to do, that alone will make you unique. I don't think I can explain it well, though. (This has turned into an emotional MC.) This is changing the subject, but "her" is the private imprint label that we established and we are releasing music through it. Really, I just want you to live the way you want to. (We're at the finale.) (We're at the finale.) ⠀ That was really long, but that's really what I think. It's easy to forget when you're just living your life normally, But you know, imagine how many years you have left until you turn 100. Just do what you want and live the way you want. That's what I think. (The continuation [of this MC] will be on 8.21 during our livestream. My 29th birthday & the band's 14th anniversary!) Live the life you love! Be in harmony! ⠀ (Live!) It's the same for everyone. Anyway... lol That's it for today's mukbang video. The food was delicious. See you in my next video! Later!
