Anyway, I thought these "skorts"would be an interesting thing to try and recreate, they're like

So, let's get started! So today I was unusually prepared

and I decided to make pattern before I[br]started sewing. So the pattern looks like this.

you've got a shorts, the waistband and some panels for the asymmetrical skirt bit at the front.

Then I got to work - drawing up and cutting my pattern pieces out.

I placed my cut out pattern pieces onto the fabric,

this gingham, polyester/cotton blend, and I[br]cut out all the pieces.

So I cut out the shorts piece on the fold of the fabric, and I ended up with TWO pieces
