in this video and I'll try to keep it
brief I'm going to give you an overview
of how to use the site and all its
resources like the brush browsers and
previews and I'll also go over where to
find all the free stuff like free
brushes and the free group brushes
plug-in panel for Photoshop CC which has
a great new features you may have missed
like saved sets the number one question
I get is how can I find the brush I need
amongst the hundreds of brushes well
depending on your preferences there are
several great ways to browse the brushes
from the resources page reach from the
menu you can download a PDF and JPEG
catalogs which show you sample
brushstrokes of all the brushes there is
also an online browser which shows them
an all in one page and you can hover to
magnify the brushstrokes these are
updated periodically throughout the year
but to get the most up-to-date and I
think the most useful preview is to view
them in the shop where you can click on
the preview button below each brush and
get a video pop up showing you exactly
what it is like to draw with each brush
in Photoshop
you
you can sort many of the brushes by type
such as ink charcoal watercolor and in
pastel
if you select all brushes they are shown
in chronological order with the most
recent brushes always listed first for
many of the brushes particularly the
sets clicking on the details button will
take you to a page with a lot more
information examples of usage tutorial
videos and sometimes even free samples
like this free cloud brush here if you
use the free Photoshop CC plug-in and I
remember you can use the new button to
browse preview and install directly into
Photoshop
non-members can use it to install the
free brush of the week any brushes on
your hard drive can be installed using
the Add button you don't need the free
plug-in to use group brushes all group
brushes work in photoshop cs5 point 5
and up using the tool presets panel now
where can you get all this stuff the
free sampler said that I mentioned is
here it includes 10 brushes and tools
that you can use with or without the
plugin which is free here the free cloud
brushes in the cloud effect set the
brushstroke guides are here every week
there's a free brush here there are also
these photoshop freebies with a variety
of freebies like these free lightsaber
brushes and lastly don't forget to check
the blog which often has free stuff like
these free calligraphy brushes if you've
had your fill of freebies and still want
more you can buy the art brushes
complete set which includes about 220
brushes for painting and drawing it also
includes a free two month membership
which will give you every new brush for
the next 60 days for free if you had
enough of my silly doodles and you want
to see what real artists can do with my
brushes have a look at the gallery page
I hope to see your work in their Sunday
soon until then thanks very much for
watching and keep creating
