Stay tuned to the end of the video For an exciting album announcement She just wants to be Beautiful she goes unnoticed She knows no limits She craves attention She praises an image She prays to be sculpted by the sculptor Oh, she don't see The light that's shining Deeper than the eyes can find it Maybe we have made her blind So she tried to cover up her pain And cut her woes away Cause covergirls don't cry After the face is made. But There's a hope that's waiting for you In the dark You should know you're beautiful Just the way you are And you don't have to change a thing The world could change its heart No scars to your beautiful We're stars and we're beautiful Oh, oh, oh Oh-oh, oh, oh And you don't have to change a thing The world could change its heart No scars to your beautiful We're stars and we're beautiful She has dreams to be an envy So she's starving You know covergirls eat nothing She says "beauty is pain and there's ...beauty in everything" "What's a little bit of hunger?" "I can go a little while longer" She fades away She don't see her perfect She don't understand she's worth it Or that beauty goes deeper Than the surface Oh, oh So to all the girls that's hurting Let me be your mirror Help you see a little bit clearer The light that shines within There's a hope that's waiting For you in the dark You should know you're beautiful Just the way you are And you don't have to change a thing The world could change its heart No scars to your beautiful We're stars and we're beautiful Oh, oh, oh Oh-oh, oh, oh You don't have to change a thing The world could change it's heart No scars to your beautiful We're stars and we're beautiful No better you than the you that you are No better you than the you that you are No better life than the life we're living No better life than the life we're living No better time for your shine You're a star No better time for your shine You're a star Oh, you're beautiful Oh, you're beautiful There's a hope that waiting for you In the dark You should know you're beautiful Just the way you are You don't have to change a thing The world can change its heart No scars to your beautiful We're stars and we're beautiful Oh, oh, oh Oh-oh, oh, oh You don't have to change a thing The world can change its heart No scars to your beautiful We're stars and we're beautiful No scars to your beautiful You're so beautiful Hi everyone Thank you so much for watching my Cover of scars your beautiful By Alessia Cara I was so thrilled to cover this with the Oregon Children's Choir And it was really important to me To include young women in this video Especially in our society today I really feel like there is a lot Of importance put on body image How we look, if we're beautiful or not On the outside and what really matters Is if we're beautiful on the inside And so we were able to stand around In a circle and talk about what makes Us feel beautiful I actually included it at the end of This video if you'd like to see Some caring heart I'm an optimist too I like how positive I am in some situations I like that I'm weird and... inaudible My best feature is my eyes But I also like that I am basically Best friends with everybody One of my favourite things is my hands Because they play a lot of instruments And draw and write, paint And they speak for me in a lot of ways That words can't I like the fact that i'm musical And that I can be myself And like I'm not scared of what other People might think My selflessness I guess and my ability to Put all my friends before me My friends always tell me this that No matter what happens I always Find a way to make someone smile At least one or two people a day I always have a way to make someone smile And that's just really special People conjure the fact that I can read People pretty easily and I can tell when They need to share something Or when maybe they aren't ready yet So I can always just be there for them Which always feels nice People who are Not treating one of my friends right I will fight back to whoever it is Even if it's some six foot tall guy I will speak up for my friends I am also very confident and I will fight for what I think's right Just being able to make friends Pretty quickly It may seem that I'm shy but I'm actually not I like that I'm fun-sized, so I'm short If I really, really want something I will Try and try and try again, and again and again even if somebody says No you're never going to get this You're never going to do this right It's like I took it as a challenge to Try harder, you know I have the ability to take care of myself And not have people do it for me Hey, go girl
