0:00:10.160,0:00:14.360 We have talked about the Pale King a lot on[br]this channel, but today he’s going to get 0:00:14.360,0:00:15.900 his very own video. 0:00:15.900,0:00:19.920 But we’re not going to talk about how he[br]had sex with a tree, or how he killed millions 0:00:19.930,0:00:24.420 of his own children, or that time he built[br]a shitty tramway that only goes about ten 0:00:24.420,0:00:25.420 feet. 0:00:25.420,0:00:29.420 No, instead we are going to talk about the[br]fate of the Pale King. 0:00:29.420,0:00:34.239 The Grey Mourner in the Resting Grounds implies[br]that the Pale King fled from his kingdom. 0:00:34.239,0:00:37.600 This lines up with what is written in the[br]game’s manual, which mentions what happened 0:00:37.600,0:00:40.250 to the Pale King as Hallownest fell to ruins. 0:00:40.250,0:00:43.890 It explains that he abandoned his subjects[br]and went into hiding. 0:00:43.890,0:00:48.379 Anyone hoping to find the Pale King would[br]face a journey perilous beyond imagining. 0:00:48.380,0:00:49.380 And well… 0:00:50.640,0:00:55.800 ♫Frolic by Luciano Michelini♫ 0:00:55.800,0:00:58.140 This fucking joke got my video claimed 😭 0:00:58.140,0:01:01.579 The exact timeline of when all of this happened[br]is a bit hazy. 0:01:01.579,0:01:06.030 There are corpses in the Ancient Basin of[br]bugs begging for the Pale King to return, 0:01:06.030,0:01:09.210 so the infection hadn’t completely taken[br]over when he left. 0:01:09.210,0:01:12.979 At some point the gates to the City of Tears[br]were closed, possibly as a way to try and 0:01:12.979,0:01:14.750 keep the infection out. 0:01:14.750,0:01:19.070 This could explain why some of the bugs in[br]the City of Tears resorted to cannibalism. 0:01:19.070,0:01:22.940 Relic Seeker Lemm tells us that before the[br]city collapsed the bugs took to writing on 0:01:22.940,0:01:27.469 spider silk instead of stone tablets, but[br]that the moisture in some of the towers has 0:01:27.469,0:01:28.829 ruined most of these writings. 0:01:28.829,0:01:32.970 So in other words, these bugs are complete[br]morons and we have no writings from when the 0:01:32.970,0:01:34.410 city fell. 0:01:34.410,0:01:37.409 Relic Seeker Lemm mentions that he has found[br]no mention of the Hollow Knight beyond the 0:01:37.409,0:01:38.780 statue in City of Tears. 0:01:38.780,0:01:43.679 So, as far as we can tell, the King went into[br]hiding sometime while all of this was going 0:01:43.679,0:01:47.229 down, and that some of his subjects still[br]retained their control over the Radiance. 0:01:47.229,0:01:50.189 Of course, we know where the Pale King went. 0:01:50.189,0:01:54.259 His corpse can be found inside of the White[br]Palace found inside of a Kingsmould. 0:01:54.259,0:01:57.659 This opens a whole new can of worms that we[br]have to discuss. 0:01:57.659,0:02:01.619 There is this idea that the White Palace hidden[br]inside of the Kingsmould is just a memory 0:02:01.619,0:02:02.880 and not the real White Palace. 0:02:02.880,0:02:06.720 I have mentioned this idea a couple of times[br]in my other videos, but I don’t believe 0:02:06.720,0:02:08.560 it to be correct at all. 0:02:08.560,0:02:13.070 First of all, if this one is just a dream,[br]then what happened to the real White Palace? 0:02:13.070,0:02:16.920 Relic Seeker Lemm tells us that the palace[br]seems to have just vanished. 0:02:16.920,0:02:19.849 Does this mean there is a second White Palace[br]somewhere that we haven’t seen yet? 0:02:19.849,0:02:23.460 Did I just happen to miss it behind a breakable[br]wall in Greenpath? 0:02:23.460,0:02:27.659 This argument makes less sense than just saying[br]the one in the dream is the real one. 0:02:27.659,0:02:31.739 When we try to Dream Nail the Kingsmould without[br]the Awakened Dream nail, we can see that there 0:02:31.739,0:02:33.680 is some kind of barrier over it. 0:02:33.680,0:02:37.210 This is the same barrier we see over the three[br]Dreamers. 0:02:37.210,0:02:41.870 Seems like someone was intentionally trying[br]to block this dream off from the outside world. 0:02:41.870,0:02:45.920 This only makes sense if it’s a real place[br]and not just some random memory. 0:02:45.920,0:02:50.260 The Pale King in the White Palace drops the[br]Kingsoul, which the White Lady recognizes 0:02:50.260,0:02:52.879 as being connected to the real Pale King. 0:02:52.879,0:02:57.730 Why would the real Pale King be hiding in[br]a random memory and not the real White Palace? 0:02:57.730,0:03:01.890 The White Palace itself contains a memory[br]sealed away in the Path of Pain. 0:03:01.890,0:03:04.390 Why would a memory be sealed inside another[br]memory? 0:03:04.390,0:03:07.709 What is this, Inception... but with bugs? 0:03:07.709,0:03:11.890 Anyway, why would a Kingsmould even have this[br]memory from the Pale King in the first place? 0:03:11.890,0:03:15.360 Doesn’t really seem like something the Pale[br]King would just mention during a casual game 0:03:15.360,0:03:17.250 of Dominos or something. 0:03:17.250,0:03:21.260 Dying in the White Palace counts as a real[br]death, which I think anchors the White Palace 0:03:21.260,0:03:23.010 to reality in some way. 0:03:23.010,0:03:27.629 And we also know that the Pale King was able[br]to somehow place the Radiance inside of the 0:03:27.629,0:03:29.180 Hollow Knight. 0:03:29.180,0:03:32.489 So why can’t he place the White Palace inside[br]of the Kingsmould? 0:03:32.489,0:03:36.650 It seems to me like the King definitely had[br]the capability to put his palace in the Dream 0:03:36.650,0:03:37.650 world. 0:03:37.650,0:03:41.829 But that’s enough of arguing with actual[br]evidence, it’s time to start speculating 0:03:41.829,0:03:45.300 about some of the more obscure matters surrounding[br]the Pale King. 0:03:45.300,0:03:49.360 The Pale King’s corpse is found hunched[br]over on his throne in the White Palace. 0:03:49.360,0:03:54.079 Now I am not a biologist, but I’m pretty[br]sure things don’t just die for no reason. 0:03:54.079,0:03:57.320 I guess the conservative view towards the[br]Pale King’s death would be to say that he 0:03:57.320,0:03:59.120 just withered away. 0:03:59.120,0:04:02.990 The White Lady describes Hallownest’s ruin[br]as lasting far longer than the existence of 0:04:02.990,0:04:06.780 the kingdom, so the Pale King has probably[br]been there a long time. 0:04:06.780,0:04:10.750 But I think I have an explanation that makes[br]at least some sense. 0:04:10.750,0:04:11.750 The Void. 0:04:11.750,0:04:15.960 Let’s start by establishing that the Void[br]and the Pale King are enemies. 0:04:15.960,0:04:18.459 The lore tablet in the King’s Workshop reads: 0:04:18.459,0:04:21.030 “VOID, yours is the power opposed.” 0:04:21.030,0:04:25.620 In this line, I believe that the Pale King[br]is saying that the Void is a force opposed 0:04:25.620,0:04:27.000 to himself. 0:04:27.000,0:04:31.160 The Pale King is described as a pale light,[br]akin to the Radiance. 0:04:31.160,0:04:35.430 We see that the Radiance and the Void aren’t[br]exactly pen pals, from both her Dream Nail 0:04:35.430,0:04:39.090 dialogue and the fact that the Void completely[br]fucks her up. 0:04:39.090,0:04:42.590 So it would make sense that the Void was also[br]enemies with the Pale King. 0:04:42.590,0:04:46.760 Or it might be that the Void opposes any sort[br]of life in general, as it appears as though 0:04:46.760,0:04:49.120 some bugs have been killed by the void. 0:04:49.120,0:04:53.660 Regardless, I think it’s safe to say that[br]the void has the potential to kill the Pale 0:04:53.660,0:04:54.660 King. 0:04:54.660,0:04:55.810 Okay, cool. 0:04:55.810,0:05:00.100 But that doesn’t really matter if we can’t[br]place void in the throne room with the Pale 0:05:00.100,0:05:00.940 King. 0:05:01.260,0:05:04.120 [Saved by the Bell credits plays to indicate[br]that the video is over] 0:05:04.120,0:05:05.360 But we can! 0:05:05.370,0:05:07.510 Look at those black balls floating around! 0:05:07.510,0:05:09.770 That’s void, people! 0:05:09.770,0:05:11.270 Well, maybe. 0:05:11.270,0:05:15.919 In my Mask Maker video, I mentioned that there[br]are black balls floating around, stating that 0:05:15.919,0:05:18.120 I thought they were evidence of void. 0:05:18.120,0:05:22.520 In the Ancient Basin and the Abyss, there[br]are little black balls floating around everywhere 0:05:22.520,0:05:24.160 to imply the presence of void. 0:05:24.160,0:05:28.139 But someone has since pointed out to me that[br]these black balls found in the Mask Maker’s 0:05:28.139,0:05:30.569 room can be seen in several other rooms. 0:05:30.569,0:05:35.120 It’s in the Stag Station in Dirtmouth, as[br]well as several indoor rooms found in the 0:05:35.120,0:05:36.120 game. 0:05:36.120,0:05:39.320 So I don’t think the particles in the Mask[br]Maker’s room are a very reliable piece of 0:05:39.320,0:05:40.320 evidence. 0:05:40.320,0:05:43.470 But things are a little different with the[br]Pale King’s throne room. 0:05:43.470,0:05:45.700 First of all, the throne room is dark. 0:05:45.700,0:05:49.180 So dark that the Knight pulls out the Lumafly[br]Lantern. 0:05:49.180,0:05:51.550 This is very peculiar for sure. 0:05:51.550,0:05:54.940 The only other area in the White Palace I[br]can find that is this dark is the hallway 0:05:54.940,0:05:58.080 to the King’s Workshop where he worked on[br]the void constructs. 0:05:58.080,0:06:02.720 Whether or not this means there is void in[br]the room is up in the air. 0:06:02.720,0:06:06.780 You don’t need the lantern for the Abyss,[br]so it might be a moot point. 0:06:06.780,0:06:10.509 Second, the black balls in this room are actually[br]a little different from the ones we see in 0:06:10.509,0:06:12.509 other parts of Hallownest. 0:06:12.509,0:06:19.169 The black dust balls fade in and out of existence,[br]where as void balls grow and shrink. 0:06:19.169,0:06:21.759 Now just look at the balls in the throne room. 0:06:21.760,0:06:23.540 That’s textbook shrinkage people! 0:06:23.540,0:06:26.520 [Seinfeld credits play because I made a reference[br]to a popular joke from the show and also because it’s a running gag throughout this video] 0:06:26.520,0:06:30.840 On top of that these void balls can be much[br]larger than the dust balls. 0:06:30.840,0:06:35.800 After intensely studying balls for about twenty[br]minutes, I can conclude that these particles 0:06:35.800,0:06:38.560 in the throne room are in fact void. 0:06:38.560,0:06:42.550 If that isn’t enough proof, there are also[br]pillars of black smoke in the room. 0:06:42.550,0:06:45.720 This is yet another effect that is only found[br]near void. 0:06:45.720,0:06:50.680 Hopefully my speculation hasn’t lost you[br]yet, because this is where shit gets good. 0:06:50.680,0:06:54.520 If there is indeed void in the throne room,[br]then where did it come from? 0:06:54.520,0:06:59.509 Well, I have a few theories, two of which[br]revolve around Kingsmoulds found in the game. 0:06:59.509,0:07:03.180 We see a grand total of eleven Kingsmoulds[br]in the White Palace. 0:07:03.180,0:07:07.580 There is one standing guard at the entrance,[br]another one shortly afterwards, two guarding 0:07:07.580,0:07:11.650 the memory in the Path of Pain, and then seven[br]corpses outside of the throne room. 0:07:11.650,0:07:15.860 It seems a bit strange that the Kingsmoulds[br]found near the Pale King are dead, but not 0:07:15.860,0:07:17.790 the ones that are further away. 0:07:17.790,0:07:22.160 It might be that the void within the Kingsmoulds[br]was able to escape its confinements. 0:07:22.160,0:07:26.169 The Pale King’s presence drew the void within[br]these Kingsmould to him, and that’s why 0:07:26.169,0:07:29.479 it escaped from these Kingsmoulds and not[br]the other ones. 0:07:29.479,0:07:30.990 But there are a few issues with this theory. 0:07:30.990,0:07:34.530 Did the Pale King not realize that this could[br]happen? 0:07:34.530,0:07:38.690 We sort of have to concede that the Pale King[br]is an idiot for this theory to work. 0:07:38.690,0:07:43.150 And while he might be kind of an asshole,[br]I don’t think he’s an idiot. 0:07:43.150,0:07:47.569 On top of that, the Kingsmould corpses have[br]pool of Void around them, so is the Void even 0:07:47.569,0:07:49.479 moving into the throne room? 0:07:49.479,0:07:51.389 Or does it just do nothing? 0:07:51.389,0:07:53.629 So that’s one possible theory. 0:07:53.629,0:07:56.580 Not exactly air tight, but I think it’s[br]plausible. 0:07:56.580,0:08:00.830 However, there is one more Kingsmould we need[br]to talk about: the corpse found in the Ancient 0:08:00.830,0:08:02.080 Basin. 0:08:02.080,0:08:07.479 Like I said earlier, this Kingsmould was used[br]by the Pale King to hide himself and his castle. 0:08:07.479,0:08:11.530 But this corpse looks quite different from[br]the corpses found in the throne room. 0:08:11.530,0:08:15.000 This Kingsmould has giant void tendrils connected[br]to it. 0:08:15.000,0:08:19.629 It seems to me that this is way more void[br]than you would get from one Kingsmould. 0:08:19.629,0:08:22.850 I think these tendrils are seeping into the[br]Kingsmould. 0:08:22.850,0:08:27.690 In other words, the void from the Abyss actually[br]made its way into the dream inside of the 0:08:27.690,0:08:29.409 Kingsmould and reached the Pale King. 0:08:29.409,0:08:31.990 Now that’s dedication, I must say. 0:08:31.990,0:08:36.710 This theory also grants more significance[br]to the lighthouse keeper in the Abyss. 0:08:36.710,0:08:40.880 When we first reach the Abyss, the light in[br]the lighthouse is turned off. 0:08:40.880,0:08:44.480 Inside, we see the corpse of one of the Pale[br]King’s followers. 0:08:44.480,0:08:45.950 Their Dream Nail dialogue reads: 0:08:45.950,0:08:48.020 “...Turn it off?… Cannot... 0:08:48.020,0:08:51.700 My King. I’m sorry… The sea calls...” 0:08:51.700,0:08:55.900 I think this dialogue is showing us that the[br]lighthouse keeper was influenced by the void 0:08:55.910,0:09:00.390 to turn off the light, and then apologized[br]to the King for doing so. 0:09:00.390,0:09:04.500 The Pale King knew the Void was dangerous,[br]hence why he had the lighthouses built. 0:09:04.500,0:09:09.120 But his servant failed to keep the void at[br]bay, allowing the void to move upwards towards 0:09:09.120,0:09:13.620 the Palace Grounds and reach the Kingsmould[br]containing the White Palace. 0:09:13.620,0:09:17.120 We can see that the void is capable of doing[br]this. 0:09:17.120,0:09:20.790 There are void tendrils that reach all the[br]way into Deepnest, where the Sharp Shadow 0:09:20.790,0:09:22.700 charm can be found. 0:09:22.700,0:09:26.660 And then there’s the fact that void particles[br]can be seen as high up in the kingdom as the 0:09:26.660,0:09:29.360 elevator at the top of the Ancient Basin. 0:09:29.360,0:09:32.300 Okay, so what are the problems with this theory? 0:09:32.300,0:09:37.230 Well, the mind of the Kingmould was locked[br]behind a shield, so is it really possible 0:09:37.230,0:09:39.430 that the void could get past it? 0:09:39.430,0:09:43.260 During the two Radiance battles we can see[br]that the void is able of entering the Dream 0:09:43.260,0:09:48.620 world, but we don’t know how much more difficult[br]it would be for the Void to get into the Kingsmould. 0:09:48.620,0:09:51.490 What exactly would it look like for the Void[br]to enter this dream? 0:09:51.490,0:09:53.430 Did it go through the front door? 0:09:53.430,0:09:55.870 Or can it just appear wherever it wants? 0:09:55.870,0:09:59.870 If void did come in this way, why wouldn’t[br]it attack the Royal Retainers? 0:09:59.870,0:10:02.700 This theory also doesn’t explain what’s[br]going on with the Kingsmoulds in the White 0:10:02.700,0:10:05.570 Palace and why only some of them are dead. 0:10:05.570,0:10:10.910 So yeah, both of these theories are incredibly[br]speculative and should definitely be taken 0:10:10.910,0:10:15.460 with a grain of salt, but I do think there[br]has to be some reason for why there are void 0:10:15.460,0:10:17.220 particles in the throne room. 0:10:17.220,0:10:20.820 It’s worth mentioning that the lore tablet[br]in the throne room might be connected to all 0:10:20.820,0:10:22.130 of this. 0:10:22.130,0:10:24.940 There are a few of these egg looking tablets[br]found in Hallownest. 0:10:24.940,0:10:29.540 Most of them feature this strange symbol that[br]flashes on the screen. 0:10:29.540,0:10:31.990 These tablets were likely created by the Pale[br]King. 0:10:31.990,0:10:35.380 There is a certain sound effect that plays[br]when reading these tablets. 0:10:37.820,0:10:43.040 [Pale King ASMR] 0:10:44.160,0:10:48.560 We can hear a longer version of this sound[br]during the birthplace cutscene in the Abyss 0:10:48.560,0:10:51.200 when the Pale King is talking to the Hollow[br]Knight. 0:10:51.200,0:10:59.000 [Pale King ASMR intensifies] 0:10:59.010,0:11:04.250 [Weird-as-fuck breathing] 0:11:04.250,0:11:06.710 This voice clip is weird as fuck. 0:11:06.710,0:11:10.950 We can hear a man’s voice, which is probably[br]the Pale King, but then there is that strange 0:11:10.950,0:11:13.880 breathing that sounds like a female voice. 0:11:13.880,0:11:18.520 I assume this is the White Lady, so maybe[br]she was also present when the Pale King chose 0:11:18.520,0:11:20.000 the Hollow Knight. 0:11:20.000,0:11:23.310 This strange whispering can also be heard[br]in the Pale King’s workshop. 0:11:23.310,0:11:27.420 This is the same sound you can hear while[br]standing near a lore tablet, but in the workshop, 0:11:27.420,0:11:29.520 it’s much louder. 0:11:29.520,0:11:35.460 [Relaxing, isn’t it?] 0:11:35.460,0:11:39.270 Anyway, the tablet in the throne room is a[br]little different. 0:11:39.270,0:11:42.870 Not only is the egg different from the other[br]ones, but there is no voice that plays when 0:11:42.870,0:11:44.330 you interact with it. 0:11:44.330,0:11:45.990 Did the Pale King write this tablet? 0:11:45.990,0:11:49.120 I don’t know who else would have written[br]it, honestly. 0:11:49.120,0:11:50.830 But I am getting super off topic. 0:11:50.830,0:11:55.420 My point is that this egg is reminiscent of[br]the Black Egg in the Forgotten Crossroads 0:11:55.420,0:11:58.100 as well as the black eggs in the Abyss. 0:11:58.100,0:12:00.270 First of all, they’re black. 0:12:00.270,0:12:04.851 Second, the floor in this part of the room[br]uses the same effect as the floor in the Black 0:12:04.851,0:12:05.851 Egg. 0:12:05.851,0:12:10.400 This might be hinting at this egg actually[br]containing void in some form, which would 0:12:10.400,0:12:13.830 possibly explain why there is void in the[br]room. 0:12:13.830,0:12:17.890 But at the same time, I really doubt this[br]would kill the Pale King, since there seem 0:12:17.890,0:12:19.640 to be bindings in this area. 0:12:19.640,0:12:23.650 And like I said, the Pale King wouldn’t[br]do something that stupid. 0:12:23.650,0:12:27.420 You know, other than building that worthless[br]tram in Crossroads. 0:12:27.420,0:12:31.320 So there are the possible explanations I can[br]find for why there might be void in the throne 0:12:31.320,0:12:32.320 room. 0:12:32.320,0:12:36.270 Personally I like the idea that the void came[br]up from the Abyss lake, but it’s all pretty 0:12:36.270,0:12:37.270 speculative. 0:12:37.270,0:12:41.380 The thing is, I tend to use text and dialogue[br]to argue about lore, so I’m a little out 0:12:41.380,0:12:46.220 of my element here, but I do think it’s[br]worth talking about any possible visual clues 0:12:46.220,0:12:50.110 we have about lore, even if it is way more[br]up to interpretation. 0:12:50.110,0:12:52.490 It’s kinda like an optical illusion. 0:12:52.490,0:12:57.070 I might see a duck, you might see a rabbit,[br]and some people might stare really hard and 0:12:57.070,0:12:58.820 see something that isn’t even there. 0:12:58.820,0:13:03.100 Now one issue with the idea that the Pale[br]King was killed by void is that there doesn’t 0:13:03.100,0:13:05.610 seem to be any indication of this on his corpse. 0:13:05.610,0:13:09.810 There aren’t any Void tendrils connected[br]to him, and his eyes don’t have the void 0:13:09.810,0:13:10.810 streaks. 0:13:10.810,0:13:14.110 It’s worth pointing out that some characters[br]have the streaks that really don’t seem 0:13:14.110,0:13:16.690 to be connected to the void at all though. 0:13:16.690,0:13:21.610 And there is artwork of some Vessels that[br]have the streaks while most don’t. 0:13:21.610,0:13:25.060 So maybe there doesn’t need to be tendrils[br]and void streaks. 0:13:25.060,0:13:27.340 The corpse of the Pale King is a hollow shell. 0:13:27.340,0:13:31.490 We can’t strike any of the other bugs we[br]see that were affected by the void, but it 0:13:31.490,0:13:33.970 would make sense that the void hollowed him[br]out. 0:13:33.970,0:13:37.230 So maybe this is an indication of the King’s[br]fate? 0:13:37.230,0:13:40.980 Another problem with the idea that the Pale[br]King was consumed by the void is that the 0:13:40.980,0:13:42.680 Kingsoul wasn’t affected. 0:13:42.680,0:13:47.670 It seems like charms might be able to be corrupted[br]by the void, given the Sharp Shadow charm. 0:13:47.670,0:13:52.060 But we don’t really know any of that for[br]sure, so I don’t think this is a huge strike 0:13:52.060,0:13:53.410 against the idea. 0:13:53.410,0:13:56.390 Alright, so what if void didn’t kill the[br]Pale King? 0:13:56.390,0:14:01.220 Are there any other explanations we can find[br]other than he just withered away? 0:14:01.220,0:14:05.600 One idea is that the Pale King sacrificed[br]himself to create the Kingsoul, since Salubra 0:14:05.600,0:14:09.520 tells us that charms can be created from a[br]bug’s dying wish. 0:14:09.520,0:14:13.010 The main problem with this theory is that[br]the Kingsoul is said to be born from a union 0:14:13.010,0:14:17.990 between two Higher Beings, implying that the[br]charm has existed for a while. 0:14:17.990,0:14:21.360 After all, the Pale King only has half of[br]the Kingsoul. 0:14:21.360,0:14:23.790 The other half is in possession of the White[br]Lady. 0:14:23.790,0:14:27.860 The charm had to have existed in the past[br]for this to make any sense. 0:14:27.860,0:14:32.350 Another theory is that the Pale King actually[br]transformed into a new being, leaving behind 0:14:32.350,0:14:33.790 his hollow shell. 0:14:33.790,0:14:38.270 Bardoon mentions that a Wyrm doesn’t die,[br]but instead transforms. 0:14:38.270,0:14:40.530 But we don’t know if that can happen again[br]or not. 0:14:40.530,0:14:44.990 Does the Pale King get three lives, five lives,[br]nine lives? 0:14:44.990,0:14:48.810 In my opinion, this theory kind of undercuts[br]the Pale King’s Dream Nail dialogue: 0:14:48.810,0:14:50.920 “No cost too great.” 0:14:50.920,0:14:54.830 And if there is a seal over the Kingsmould,[br]would the Pale King even be able to escape 0:14:54.830,0:14:56.650 the White Palace? 0:14:56.650,0:14:59.830 On the other hand, this would give us the[br]opportunity to actually meet the Pale King 0:14:59.830,0:15:02.640 in the Hornet DLC should it actually be a[br]sequel. 0:15:02.640,0:15:07.710 That is going to be a bit of an awkward family[br]reunion, seeing as Hornet is the Pale King’s 0:15:07.710,0:15:11.721 bastard child and that one of his other children[br]murdered her mom in her sleep. 0:15:11.721,0:15:18.520 So yeah… what was the point of this video? 0:15:18.520,0:15:19.760 Let’s see… 0:15:19.760,0:15:23.870 The Pale King most likely went into hiding[br]during the infection by placing his White 0:15:23.870,0:15:26.740 Palace inside of the mind of a Kingsmould. 0:15:26.740,0:15:32.230 There he either withered away, committed die,[br]transformed into a new being, was killed by 0:15:32.230,0:15:36.730 the void, or something completely random that[br]Team Cherry decides to add in with the Hornet 0:15:36.730,0:15:38.200 DLC. 0:15:38.200,0:15:43.090 There is strong evidence that there is in[br]fact void in the room because balls. 0:15:43.090,0:15:47.110 This void might have come from the Kingsmoulds[br]in the throne room, or from the void seeping 0:15:47.110,0:15:48.110 in from the Ancient Basin. 0:15:48.110,0:15:51.690 There is also the possibility that the void[br]particles are coming from the lore tablet 0:15:51.690,0:15:54.330 in the far right corner of the room. 0:15:54.330,0:15:56.350 And that’s about it. 0:15:56.350,0:16:00.840 Until Team Cherry prints off a death certificate[br]or a coroner’s report, this is the best 0:16:00.840,0:16:02.140 I can do. 0:16:02.140,0:16:05.320 There is one last point I couldn’t fit anywhere. 0:16:05.320,0:16:08.910 Apparently the Pale King covered a bunch of[br]furniture in white sheets. 0:16:08.910,0:16:13.480 There really isn’t any way for us to know[br]when this happened or why this happened. 0:16:13.480,0:16:16.170 Was it a part of putting the palace in the[br]Dream world? 0:16:16.170,0:16:17.770 Are they repainting the ceiling? 0:16:17.770,0:16:21.930 Did Team Cherry just not want to draw a bunch[br]of shit so they put sheets over them? 0:16:21.930,0:16:25.060 In fact, what kind of furniture does the Pale[br]King even have under there? 0:16:25.060,0:16:28.820 I mean, this one is clearly a fucking tombstone. 0:16:28.820,0:16:31.320 This one looks like a pig from Minecraft. 0:16:31.320,0:16:33.630 And I think this one might be a Festivus Pole? 0:16:33.630,0:16:35.220 [Seinfeld credits because you should always[br]finish your video with a callback] 0:16:35.220,0:16:39.440 You know, William and Ari have released four[br]goddamn DLCs and they can’t even bother 0:16:39.440,0:16:41.720 to answer this very important question? 0:16:41.720,0:16:43.400 It’s ridiculous. 0:16:43.400,0:16:45.140 It’s like they don’t even care about the[br]lore. 0:16:45.140,0:16:47.120 I’m uninstalling the piece of shit.
