- I'm Florian Diemingerr,
and I'm here to proudly present
you a shiny new MDN plus.
MDN plus is our new premium
subscription based on MDN,
the MDN you love.
Nothing will change in the
free MDN that allows you
to browse all the web docs.
However, we started to add on top of this,
some nice features to make MDN your own.
So, you're finally able to
customize your MDN experience.
We'll start with three features,
the first of them being Collections.
So, you can save your
articles you care about,
add notes on them, and browse
them later in essential place.
I will also curate for you,
pages you frequently visit,
that you can get back
to whenever you need.
The second feature will be Notifications,
so you can watch any article,
and you'll get notified
if major content changes happen,
or if browser compatibility changes.
The third feature is MDN Offline.
So finally, you can take MDN with you,
wherever you are independent
of your internet connectivity,
which makes it super nice to browse it
while you're traveling
and train, or something.
At the same time,
it's just snappier than
it was ever before,
using the offline feature.
MDN will be free.
The access to plus is tiered.
You can sign up for free
account and use limited versions
of the notification and
collection features.
If you want to dive into the
full capabilities of MDM plus,
you can sign up for $5 a month,
and use unlimited notifications
and unlimited collections,
and you get MDN offline.
There's also a $10 subscription,
where you get all the features
from the $5 subscription,
plus you get early access
to upcoming features,
and you get regular
chats with MDN engineers.
