9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 (A lotus for you) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Respected Thay, Dear Noble Sangha, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Welcome to Plum Village. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is our first Mindfulness Day, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the Spring Retreat, and thank you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 for coming together, as a Sangha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's a Chinese delegation, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 who came by the bus. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village is not a school, where you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 come and you learn, and you get a 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 degree...no. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We don't come here even to learn Buddhism. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village is not an ordinary community 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 where we come and chit-chat, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to get involved in communication, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 talking with someone, or looking 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 for someone to be your friend, to be your lover. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village is a practice centre. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's a community of practice where we 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 devote our energy and time into 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the practice according to the Buddha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Our main practice in Plum Village 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is mindfulness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mindfulness means you come back to [br]yourself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You bring your wandering mind 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 back to the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Bring your mind back to the body, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and you establish yourself in the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 At the end of the monastic retreat, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we have 10 lazy days. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lazy day means there is no schedule 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the practice. So you are on your own. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No one remind you to practice, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 no schedule...no community 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 schedule for you. So you are on your own. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's a time of examination, whether you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 can do it by yourself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because a community practice- it depends 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 on individual practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We take refuge in the community. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It means that you are also taking refuge 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in each individual practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If the Sangha is strong, it means 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 everybody is strong. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Everybody is (can't catch), 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 everybody is solid. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Everyone know the way to go 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 back to oneself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To be in the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So it's so clear. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village is a training place. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Training here is training mindfulness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To be alive, to be back to oneself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To be alive, and then to touch life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So what do we want to be here for?- 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as the monastic? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What do you want to be here for, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as an aspirant to become the monastic? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What do you want to be here - as the lay? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You want to be here in order to [br]embody the practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To take the concrete practice and then 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to find ourselves. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village is like the mountain that has 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a lot of jewels. You need to take it out. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You need to know how to collect 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the jewels. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You need sharp eyes, clear eyes. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village Sangha is like a forest, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 where all the trees stand together, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 majestically standing together 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 under the sunlight. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We enter this community, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we enjoy the majestic energy of 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the forest, in the morning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So we don't want to come here 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 for anything else than that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's one sutra that the Buddha [br]spoke about. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's related to this: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's a Sutra on 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Majjhima Nikaya, it means 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Middle Discourse. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Number 29. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha spoke about how to be 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a monastic. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This discourse was delivered after 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Devadatta left the Sangha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Devadatta, he created a lot of problems. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Devadatta is a cousin of the Buddha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When he entered the monastic life, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 after a while he wanted to become 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a Buddha! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He wanted to be a Buddha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He wanted to become a second Buddha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He wanted to become the leader 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the Sangha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So when the Buddha was still alive, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 he said, "Dear Buddha, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 let you rest. I will take care 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the Sangha. I'll become 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you- the leader of the Sangha". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And the Buddha said." Don't mention that, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Devadatta, in the Sangha, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 there's beautiful monastics like 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Shariputra, Maha Mogallana, Mahakasyapa 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they are beautiful people, but I don't 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 even let them become the leader 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the Sangha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So don't mention about you." 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And he get really upset. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He left the Sangha and he created a lot 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of problems. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He divide the Sangha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He convinced 500 monks to follow him, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and he set up a new Sangha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This sutra- the Buddha spoke after 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that event. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha said." When a young man, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 out of faith, left a lay life, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and become a monastic. They're called [br]'homeless' ". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because a monk doesn't have a home. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A monk lives in the forest, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with the community, in the monastery. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So we called all monastics 'are homeless'. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's not like people who are homeless and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 wandering in the town. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It means the people who devote their 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 energy, their life, their time[br]to practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They don't concern themselves about 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 other things, like material comfort, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 or...effective comforts... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 like romantic relationships... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We don't come here to look for romance. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Like someone you love, secretly love. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You come here to practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When we practice for a while, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we gain something. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You gain comforts (not sure..can't catch) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We...not only gain, but honour..respect... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We become respected by someone, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 by lay friends, and we become famous, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 renowned. Sometimes they called 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you 'a renowned teacher', 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 become famous like a Dharma Teacher. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Could be a renowned person in the Sangha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Of course when you practice for a while, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you become a Dharma Teacher. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I could be a renowned person 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in the community. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This young man left family life, go forth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the language of the Buddha, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 called 'go forth', means you go on, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you go higher, further, means you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 ordain as a monastic. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You take the life of a monk or 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a nun, and that's called 'go forth' 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 "The reason is that person don't want 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to be a victim of birth, old age, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 death, sorrow, pain, despair. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That person doesn't want to be a victim of 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 suffering, (can't catch) of suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He believe in the Sangha, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that is the way to end all the suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He practices dilligently...many years, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and he attain 'gaining'. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He attains honour, he attains renown, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He is pleased with these, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 his intention is fulfilled when he enjoys 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the gaining. I gain some kind of material 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 comfort,I come here I have food, I have 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 room, all that... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He is satisfied with honouring, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 respect by other people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He is also satisfied with his position, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 he is renowned. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And he doesn't want to go on. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He doesn't want to practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's good enough for me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He praised himself, and he disparaged [br]others. [br] 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He criticises the other people." 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha say he became intoxicated, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with this gain, honour, renown. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He will grow into negligence, become 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 negligent and he will live in suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So this is the warning of the Buddha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 After we practice a while, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we think that we have enough. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I become a Dharma Teacher, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 or maybe I go out, I build a temple, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I have a lot of money, and that's it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You stopped practicing, you forget the first 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 goal entering the Sangha. The most deepest 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 concern entering the Sangha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You just stopped right there. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha made an example, like a person, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 looking for heartwood. He goes into the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 forest and he found a beautiful giant tree. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He cut the tree into pieces, into logs. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but he doesn't know what is the heartwood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He only takes trees and branches. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That person who stopped at gaining, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and honouring, and renown, is like taking 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the branches and leaves only. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He didn't take the heartwood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The second kind of person, he doesn't 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 get satisfied with gaining, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 honour, renown, he becomes diligent 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and goes on practicing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He achieves attainment of moral[br]discipline. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moral discipline. (In Viet) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He really thinks with discipline, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with fine manners, with vinaya, with shila. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He achieves beautifully, radiating the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 energy of moral discipline. He is pleased 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with it, and his intention is fulfilled. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I have enough. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He said, I'm the best, so I don't want to 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 practice anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He praises himself and he (can't catch). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha said he becomes intoxicated 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 into the gaining, attainment of moral 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 respect, moral discipline. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He will grow negligently and falls into 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 negligence and he lives in suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha says, " This man, this monk, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 only gets the outer bark of the tree". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moral discipline, precepts, shila is only 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the outer bark of the tree. Outer bark of 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the tree. You know the tree has bark? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You only get that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You haven't get the heartwood yet. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The heartwood is the strongest part 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the tree. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The third kind of monastic 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 he does not (get) satisfied with gaining, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 honour, renown, even moral disciplines. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He continues to be dilligent in the[br]practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He attains...achieves the concentration. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The deep samadhi. Samadhi. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And he is pleased with it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 His intention is fulfilled, he doesn't 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 want to practice anymore. I am great 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 samadhi. Sometimes I can fly on the sky. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You know in the sutra, sometimes they 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 spoke about a monk who can fly in the sky. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They guild. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He stopped practicing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He(is) bragging about his attainment. He 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is satisfied with his attainment of samadhi. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He lauded himself, he praised himself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He disparaged others. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha said, he becomes intoxicated 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with attainment of concentraton, grows 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 negligently, fall into negligence, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and he lives in suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You see, samadhi, but if you stopped... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you can fall back to suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you are satisfied bragging about your 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 own practice of samadhi, you can fall back 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 into suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This person only gets the inner bark 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the tree. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So there's 2 barks-the outer bark 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and inner bark. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He didn't get the heartwood yet. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The fourth person- 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 he is not satisfied with concentration, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with great concentration. He is not satisfied 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with mindfulness. He is radiating with 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 light, of mindfulness and concentration, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but he is not satisfied with that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He becomes dilligent, continue to practice 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 wholeheartedly, and he achieves the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 non-achieve, the vision. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Knowledge and vision. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In Vietnamese it called (in Viet) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He has the knowledge and vision. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He can see things deeper than others. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He is pleased with it, and his intention 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is fulfilled. He doesn't want to practice[br]anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So I got the knowledge, I got the insight. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So I don't want to practice anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He enjoys life, get caught in 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 conversations, sleepy, seeking for [br]pleasure. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He stopped the practice because he is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 satisfied of what he believe he can attain 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The final. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He praised himself, he disparaged others. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And the Buddha said, "This monk (is) also 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 falling back into suffering. He only get 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the sapwood". Certain place in the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 tree you called sap..sap wood...the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 softer wood where it's (can't catch) sap. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sapwood. S-A-P. Sapwood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Means softer kind of wood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's not the heartwood yet. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It helps the tree to grow. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So it's permeated with sap. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha said, "not yet". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The last person, the last monastic. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He's not satisfied with the knowledge 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and vision. He is not satisfied with insight. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He becomes more dilligent in practicing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He practices wholeheartedly, and he 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 attains what they called 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 "perpetual emancipation". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Unshakeable liberation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Perpetual means unshakeable. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Liberation or emancipation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Buddha said, when a person gets this 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 kind of liberation, he will not fall 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 back into suffering. He got the heartwood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So this Discourse tells us that in 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the practice, we don't stop. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We don't think that we got it. We've to 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 continue to do the daily practice. We cannot 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 stop the practice in our daily life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When I reflect on this sutra, I see that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we come to Plum Village, we think that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we have enough, we get already enough. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So we just...not really wholeheartedly 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in the Sangha practice. We just live our 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 life and let time go by. We feel that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 there is nothing special here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Nothing interesting here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But as I said in the beginning, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village is like a mountain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It has so many jewels hidden in the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 mountain, and we need to discover that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We need to be wholeheartedly in our daily 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 practice. We need to have sharp eyes, to 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 be able to see the jewels. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Especially those who live here for 10 years, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 15 years or 20 years. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You will see that if we don't enjoy daily 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 practice, we fall into that trap of 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 satisfaction. I have enough. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 (can't catch) is nothing special. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Nothing here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's why today I would like to share 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with you what is the jewels 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of Plum Village. We need to know what is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the jewels. We don't just want to come 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 here to gain some kind of comforts, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to have money, to have food... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to have special food, to have 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 room, comfortable room. We don't want to 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 come here to gain material comfort. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Or emotional comfort. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Or to become famous. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To become honourable person. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We want to come here to get the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 jewels of the Dharma. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And our Teacher is like a rich man. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He's like a rich... 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 man who owns so much jewels and we are 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the children of our teacher . They are still 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 waiting for moments to go away from 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village. To find something else. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's why speaking about the jewels of 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village is so important. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Plum Village's seal. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 "arrived, home" 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We have to realise this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We have to really experience this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because it's the practice of no running. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No aiming. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No searching. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not even attainment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You don't look for attainment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because each step you feel alive. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You touch life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Each step you come home. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mind come back to the body, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and you become whole. And you will be 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 whole by the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A lot of nourishing and healing in there. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So you don't need to run. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 YouI don't need to even search for 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 enlightenment, because there is no 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 enlightenment at the end of the road. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You don't need even to become a Buddha. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Just be yourself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To be home sweet home. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You don't need to be someone else. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes we feel like we are nothing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We are only a human being full of [br]suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So we want to become someone else. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But this practice, "home", 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I need to bring my mind back. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I need to bring myself back. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 On each step I make. So you feel 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mother Earth when you walk like that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You are connecting with Mother Earth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it means that you feel yourself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So between you and Mother Earth is life, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is energy of mindfulness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Energy of being alive. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's a clarity in the mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When you feel Mother Earth, you feel 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 yourself and all anxiety stopped. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 All anixety, all worry, all pain 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and sorrow stopped. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is very clear when the Buddha 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 said, "A young man left home, go forth, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 become a monastic, because of one reason. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That he doesn't want to be a victim 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of birth, death, old age, sorrow, despair. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He doesn't want to be a victim of his 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 suffering and despair and stress". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So this can be the way to stop all our 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 block of suffering, mass of suffering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The second jewel of Plum Village 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 practice is dwelling in the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Happily. In the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The present moment is our destiny. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So if you don't know where to go- 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 present moment. Arrived. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You see, it's very clear. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Present moment is our destiny. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Present moment is our country. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When no one can occupy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No one can control that wonderful country 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of yours. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When you enter the present moment, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 everything becomes so real. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can hear song of the bird 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 all the time. Now is the time, the bird is singing 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 almost all day long. Especially in the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 early morning about 6 o' clock, 6.20. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the present moment, flowers (are ) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 blooming all the time. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Your body, your mind, green like the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 meadows, sparkling with light 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So this is your destination. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You don't need to find happiness because 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in the present moment, you have a lot of 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 happiness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Of course you don't need money to be happy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the present moment, you feel so good. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 All is so great. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To be one with sunlight. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Wow, it's so good to see daffodils. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To really enjoy, touch daffodils. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The colour of golden colour. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the present moment, what we called 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the true peace. We need to get this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is very precious jewel. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So important dharma seal of Plum Village. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Anybody can do it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Anybody can enter the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Dwelling, stay, establish youself 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There will be full of happiness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Our Teacher has a very famous expression, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 " There is no way to happiness, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 happiness in the way". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Means you make one step, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you have to feel arrive and home. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You enter the present moment and then you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 experience happiness. Because you become 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 one with the meadow, you feel the warmth 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the sunshine in your body. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That is happiness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So happiness is at every step. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If we don't have this, at the end there 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 will be nothing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because our mind keeps running. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We don't need to run after happiness, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 after peace, after joy, after well-being. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Happiness, peace, joy, well-being 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 are already available. You experience it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You taste it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And that requires, "home, arrive". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mind stop. No velocity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So these go together. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 True peace. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And the beautiful thing in the present 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 moment is the silence. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you are too noisy, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you don't feel much. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Can you believe in the morning, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the song of the bird are calling you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and you are too noisy! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You are talking a lot, non-stop, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and your mind keep thinking. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 thinking, looking of something, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and you really don't know 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you missed the morning song of the birds. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So the silence is so important. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The silence inside of the mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So if you feel you don't know 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 what to do, enjoy the silence. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes we are afraid of silence. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 At times you are alone, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and you feel don't know what to do. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You want to look for someone else to talk. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You ruin your silence. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You destroy your awareness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Your clarity of the mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In 10 lazy days I spent time by myself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 My mentee that goes to the hut, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they have their own practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And I'm their mentor, I also do by myself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I hide myself in the forest. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I think I have enough noise already. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes we live together, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it's too much noise. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When there's too much noise, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we don't feel much (of) present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We don't feel much, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the energy of peace, of joy, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 refreshing, healing energy in life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the present moment, what you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 need is silence. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Silence. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The other thing is, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 do one thing at a time. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Don't do multitask. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 One thing at a time. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I have a habit of learning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I want to learn so much. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes I learn something, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I read something, but I write something. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because I am afraid of losing them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I am afraid I don't have enough time. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So I listen to a Dharma talk, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but I am writing something. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You just do one thing at a time, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to really feel the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You do the garden, and you just do the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 garden. You put all your heart into the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 garden. In one of the lazy day, I worked in 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the rose garden. I put all my heart into 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 doing the rose garden. I weed the grass, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I cut the grass, I clear away 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the weed that occupy the root of the rose. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I trim the rose. So you do one thing at 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a time, you stay in the present moment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's why our teacher says, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 "Just breathe" 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 "Just walk". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So we walk, and that's it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We don't think about something. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When we do walking meditation, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 (it) doesn't mean you are thinking about 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the dharma talk. No, you just walk, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and the insight comes out. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The talk doesn't come from thinking. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The talk comes from the insight. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The experience. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So just walk, just breath, just eat. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Is that simple enough? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And help to clear the mind! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because the silence is so important. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The clear mind is so important. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In order to have clear mind, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the silence, we need to do one thing 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 at a time. It helps (us) to concentrate, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to help us concentrate on one thing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The practice is 'just breathe'. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I like this so much. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 "Just breathe", "Just walk" 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When we eat, we just eat. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Enjoy, taste. The gift of life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You don't eat and you talk. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's why the first 20 minutes, silence 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 meal is to just eat. When you break the lotus, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 there's a thread. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's a very vulnerable thread. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But it can hold other parts of the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 lotus stem. So mindfulness is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 like a thread. Very fine thread. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But day by day becomes so powerful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because the light becomes so powerful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It recognise things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It see things deeper in the realm of 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 feelings, in the realm of mind, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of thoughts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not to mention about the green grass, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the flower. These are physical things 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you can see them clearly. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But you can see even your mind, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 your feelings, your thoughts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So training. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The third jewel of Plum Village practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's a lot, but these are very 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 important jewels that we need to take, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we need to bring home, we need to possess, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in order to be a rich practitioner. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So we don't behave like a destitute. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Like a poor child. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In dwelling in the present moment, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 what you got is the wonders of life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So you don't need anymore conditions 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 for happiness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The wonders of life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Everything becomes so real. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So precious. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The third is the continuity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Continuity or continuum. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is called the insight. You need to 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 get this insight of continuity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 (In) Vietnamese called "tuong tục". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We need to have an insight of "tuong tuc". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Continuity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Our life is not a rock, ok. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Our life is a process. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Our life is a process of energy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Love and energy. Hate and energy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And they don't stay the same. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They always change. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's why the Buddha say 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 consciousness sometimes behave 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 like a river. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's continually flowing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Remember the insight of our life 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is continuity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Our life is flowing all the time. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is the teaching on impermance. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So each moment of our lives, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 there is input. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The things come in. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Fresh air, sunshine, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a smile, a loving thought. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Each moment of our lives, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 there's inputs into what we 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 called body and mind. But as a monk, because we 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 are going in, so we face so many energy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And one of the energy inside of our 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 consciousness is depression. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes I felt the energy depressed. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I feel that my energy goes down. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Luckily I have a practice called 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 'gladdening the mind'. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Gladdening the mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Cheer up. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I go out of depression just like that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes it's just the seed, triggered up. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The seed of depression maybe come from 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 our father, our mother, ancestors, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 where they faced, go through challenges 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in their life, and they fall 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 into depression. They despair because they 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 cannot do things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They faced so much suffering in life, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and they fall into despair. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And now it's transmitted to us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We practice and we encounter 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 this energy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We have the way out, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 by gladdening the mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Open the door and walking outside. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Be with nature, and it changes 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 this energy of depression. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Continuity means that don't worry. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Don't be despair, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 because things will change. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes things will change in a year, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 not overnight but one year. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's certain seed, that anger 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it takes years to practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That certain seed of anixiety, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it takes like years to practice 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So don't give up, have trust. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because we have insight of continuity, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the insight of 'tuong tuc". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 'Tuong tuc' means continue, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 flowing all the time, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's another word- impermanance. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Don't look into our live as a rock. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A stone. No. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Look into our life as a river. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Ever-changing energy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 One energy we change to a different energy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So if you have a depression, you can change into 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 joy and happiness. If you have an anger, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you can change into love. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can do it with the practice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So don't stuck in there. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Find a way. A skilful way that fit you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In order to change the river of your mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We call 'change the seed', because 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 all come from seeds. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Our consciousness sometimes, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is described as 'the totality of seeds". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Like the garden, it embodies every kind 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of seeds in the garden. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When you faced some kind of depression, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that's something very normal, but you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 need to change the seed, or 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you will be despair for a long time. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Keep this insight of impermance, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 insight of continuity. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The fourth jewel of the practice is the 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 insight, why we called insight? because 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it is not thinking. Insight (is what) you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 see, you see directly, that your body 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 change, that your mind change. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you are able to let go, it change. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes we don't want to let go. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When you hate someone, you keep holding 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 into that, you keep arguing in the mind 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with that person, and you make it worse! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You don't allow it to flow, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you have it heavy in your mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And that person doesn't know anything! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's really called 'attachment'. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This insight helps to remove attachment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No attachment. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No attachment to whatsoever, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 whatsoever in the form, in the feeling, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in the thinking, in the mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the person, even in the person that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you don't like, you have to let go. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because your mind holds on to it, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you suffer a lot. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because the insight of continuity means 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 your mind flow. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Don't hold. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You hold, you ruin the nature of our mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The insight of interconnectedness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Interconnectedness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How Teacher usually says, "interbeing". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Interbeing is another word. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So with this insight of changing, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 insight of interbeing, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we are free. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because we relate. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you hate someone, it means 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you hate yourself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Interbeing. Nowadays in society, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 people speak very rough language. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They accuse, their language is like knife, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 cutting everything. The Buddha says, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 "No, Ananda,full of spiritual life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you have a good friend". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's a sutra like that. You can 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 realise your full potential of spiritual 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 life, full enlightenment, with liberation 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with a good friend". 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A good friend, ok. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not like a noisy guy. (Laughs) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So interbeing is like that. We need to take 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 good care of our practice, in order to be 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 good for the Sangha.
