Sikhi and to Guru Gobind Singh Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and no one could understand why. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 From a very young age, [br]she could memorise Japji Sahib, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 she started doing a lot of Simran and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 starting memorising countless other teachings as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And she would always speak about [br]Guru Gobind Singh Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and she would always dream about[br]Guru Gobind Singh Ji as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The time even came, such, where the villagers [br]in her village started calling her Mata Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 because at a very young age [br]she portrayed those virtues, those attributes 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that a young woman, that a lady,[br]a Mata Ji would have. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So with respect they started calling [br]her Mata Ji as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now Mata Sahib Deva Ji when [br]she came of age to get married, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 she told her parents[br]I will only get married to Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And even her parent say that[br]for someone like Mata Sahib Deva Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 there is no one else but Guru Gobind Singh Ji [br]who could get married to her, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 or who is compatible to her as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because as a woman, her wishes, her desires[br]are not of the worldly ones, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but of the spiritual ones. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And there is no man here [br]who could be compatible to her. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Only Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So her parents went to Guru Gobind Singh Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and did Benti that please take [br]my daughter's hand in marriage 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and get married to her. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But at that point Guru Gobind Singh Ji [br]say that I am already married 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and now I have become Brahamchari,[br]where I have renounced all the physical relationship 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of a household and now I am only [br]focused on the panthic matters. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So I can't get married to your daughter. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Mata Sahib Deva Ji parents say that[br]she only thinks about You, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 she only looks up to You and [br]she will not get married to anyone else but You. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 At that point, Mata Sahib Deva Ji stood up and[br]she does Benti, she says that Sache Paatshaah 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as a wife I will not demand anything from You,[br]all I want is to be able to do your Seva 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and I can do that if I am in your palace,[br]if I am near You I can do that Seva of You. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Guru Gobind Singh Ji said [br]that I have a few conditions 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 if you want to get married to me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 My first condition is that we are not [br]going to be taking part in any physical relationship 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as a husband and wife and with that [br]we will not bear any children as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Mata Sahib Deva Ji, Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, [br]she said Sat Bachan. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because in her mind, all she wanted was [br]to do Seva of her husband 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 was to do Seva of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sundri Ji was also there[br]present in the palace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and Mata Gujri Ji as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sahib Deva Ji, she loved Mata Sundri Ji[br]just like her own sister. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Both of them had that sisterly love [br]between each other. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And both of them loved Mata Gujri Ji [br]just like their own mother, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 there was no difference between the 3 of them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Mata Sahib Deva Ji, she had so much love [br]for the Chaar Sahibzaade, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it was her responsibility to get them ready [br]every morning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sahib Kaur Ji would put small small Kalgia [br]on the Dastar of the Sahibzaade, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 especially Baba Fateh Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And she would be so happy to [br]see the Chaar Sahibzaade, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it was like as if these 4 are her own children,[br]that's how she loved them and took care of them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 These peaceful times were only [br]short-lasting. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And the whole Parvaar they got separated [br]in Sirsa River. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now, Mata Sahib Kaur Ji's routine [br]was that she would not have her food 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 she would not have her breakfast [br]her meal of the day 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 until she had the Dashan of [br]Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And this is one condition of Mata Sahib Deva Ji as well[br]which she put forward to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 she said that I know You are busy with[br]Your daily routine, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of meeting the Khalsa Panth, [br]of strategising for war against the enemies 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and all that, but this is my humble Benti. [br]That please come to me daily 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to have your meal so that [br]I can have your Darshan. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And only then I will have my meal. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Guru Gobind Singh Ji, knowing this Iccha [br]of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Guru Sahib knew how much love[br]Mata Sahib Kaur Ji had for Them 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and they agreed to this condition. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And daily Guru Gobind Singh Ji would come[br]and have meal with Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 eat the food that she made and [br]gave her Darshan. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This was not possible when the [br]separation of the family happened 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, Mata Sundri Ji and a few [br]Gursikhs such as Bhai Mani Singh 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 went towards Delhi. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now Sangat Ji, this is a point Sangat Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We can see how the role of the woman [br]changes from just practising Sikhi in a family 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 just like Bebe Nanaki Ji, Mata Khivi Ji then came [br]forward and started serving her community. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And then we can see like Bibi Bhani Ji has [br]now started doing Seva in other communities as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Started going out there to different villages [br]and started doing Seva and doing Parchaar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now we'll see when the time came to Mata Sahib[br]Kaur Ji, Mata Sundri Ji they have gone 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 completely to a different state and now [br]they are taking up the role that a man would take. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Such as the economical aspect, the political aspect[br]of Panthic matters. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, Mata Sundri Ji took care of all [br]these matters for the Khalsa Panth in Delhi. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because they knew that war was coming[br]and normally with war there's always chaos 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 attached to it as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So it was in the hands of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji [br]and Mata Sundri Ji, both together sisters, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to ensure that there was peace and Sikhi [br]Parchaar was still continuing in Delhi as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And the time came when they found out that Guru Gobind Singh Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is in Damdama Sahib and They are writing [br]Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and they are doing Santhiya there [br]for 9 months. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sundri Ji and Mata Sahib Deva Ji,[br]they go to Damdama Sahib 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to have Darshan of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They spend time there and[br]they did darshan of Guru Maharaj, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they did Seva of Guru Maharaj as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, as the mother of the [br]Khalsa Panth, also served the Khalsa - 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 her children, the Sikhs. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 She would take care of their needs,[br]of their daily needs: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 food, medication, anything else, money. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then Guru Gobind Singh Ji decided They [br]were going to go to Hazoor Sahib. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 At that point, Mata Sahib Kaur Ji did Benti [br]that I cannot be separated from You any longer. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Please keep me with You. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sundri Ji then say, I will go back to Delhi 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sahib Kaur Ji stayed on with [br]Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Hazoor Sahib. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And at the Asthaan of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji[br]the Sikhs, the Khalsa Panth would come 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and have langar made by her. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And they would come to Mata Sahib Kaur Ji[br]whenever they needed anything, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 medication, they need help, they need advice, [br]they need money 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they would come to Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They were preparing for the day [br]where They would leave this world. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And They knew that Mata Sahib Kaur Ji [br]had so much love for Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That Mata Sahib Kaur Ji's life was such[br]that she would sacrifice her life for Me 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and if, after I'm gone, she would have no purpose. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Guru Gobind Singh Ji calls Mata Sahib Kaur Ji[br]and tells her, gives her the Hukam 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that she is to go back to Delhi[br]to help Mata Sundri Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To serve the Khalsa Panth there. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And that Guru Gobind Singh Ji does not want[br]her to be here when He leaves this world. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, she wouldn't be able to[br]bear the pain of separation because 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 she is so in love with Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Just like how Guru Angad Dev Ji was so in love [br]with Guru Nanak Dev Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Guru Nanak Dev Ji also told Guru Angad Dev Ji[br]to leave Kartarpur Sahib, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 go to Khadur Sahib, so that They would not have[br]to see the day when Guru Nanak Dev Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 leaves this world. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The same was for Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Mata Sahib Kaur Ji says that [br]I can't live without having Your darshan. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And at that point, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj[br]gave Mata Sahib Kaur Ji five Shastar 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and told her that have my darshan daily [br]by looking at these shastar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 From these shastar I will give you My darshan 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and then you can have your meal. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And not only that, but Guru Gobind Singh Ji also[br]told Mata Sahib Kaur ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that it is her responsibility to bring up young[br]Jassa Singh Ahluwalia and to bring him 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 along with her to Delhi. Take care of him.[br]Give him that Vidhiya, that Sikhi Vidhiya 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the Shastar Vidhiya to Jassa Singh Ahluwalia, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 so that when he grows up he can serve [br]the Panth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And that's exactly what Mata Sahib Kaur Ji did. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In Delhi, Mata Sahib Kaur Ji [br]helped Mata Sundri Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They would address panthic issues,[br]they would give out Hukamnaame to the sangat 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in Punjab, in Delhi and in other states as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They would put Gursikhs to do seva and [br]they actually made a fortress that was given to them 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 into a Dharamsala. In the Dharamsala they [br]started doing Langar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They started the Sikhs in Delhi to give Dasvand. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And when they found out that [br]Guru Gobind Singh Ji has left for sachkhand 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and They have given the Gurgaddi to Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now imagine sagat ji, a kingdom without a king[br]will become chaotic 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and those people that know about the Gurgaddi of [br]Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 were in Hazoor Sahib with Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When the Hukamaama, when the letter [br]was sent to the mothers in Delhi, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that now the Gurgaddi is given to [br]Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mothers Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and Mata Sundri Ji,[br]they took it upon themselves 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to spread, to do this Parchaar that 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They started doing Paatth of [br]Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 so that Gursikhs, they would not lose hope[br]that now Guru Sahib is not here anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because it was a transition sangat ji[br]from a physical Guru to Granth Guru, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 it was a transition and it not perhaps [br]an easy one as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So that faith had to be instilled in the Sikhs,[br]that now your Guru is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Guru Granth Sahib Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Have faith in Guru Granth Sahib Ji, [br]because it is the Bachan 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of Guru Gobind Singh Ji as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the Rehitnaame as well Guru Gobind Singh Ji[br]says that if you want to have My darshan 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 have darshan of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you want to speak to Me, [br]read Guru Granth Sahib Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you want to listen to Me, listen to My voice,[br]listen to My words, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 listen to the Hukamnama of Guru Granth Sahib Ji [br]and that will be Me speaking to you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And the mothers did this parchaar in Delhi 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and they also ensured that the Sikhs would [br]not lose hope, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the Sikh will not stop doing seva. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sahib Kaur Ji sent out nine Hukamnaame,[br]that now we can find. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We still have these Hukamnaame. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Where in each letter, in each Hukamnaama,[br]Mata Sahib Kaur Ji addressed the Khalsa Panth 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 as her Frarsand Puttar, Farsand Puttar here meaning[br]here beloved children, her brave children, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 her brave sons, her good children, good sons. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 She will address the Khalsa Panth that way[br]and that in that same Hukamnaame 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 every Hukamnaama you can see the same bachan[br]of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji which is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that do not forget to do Simran of Vaheguru [br]and this should be your purpose of life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To do Simran of Vaheguru, so that your life[br]becomes fruitful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Does not go to waste. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The same bachan we can find in [br]Guru Granth Sahib Ji as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 By Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, [br]when they were going to Lahore 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Bibi Bhani Ji does the same bachan[br]to Guru Arjan Dev Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They say 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That this is an Aseesa a mother would[br]give to the child, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that do not forget Vaheguru for even an instant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now sangat ji let me ask you,[br]Mata Sahib Kaur Ji is our spiritual mother, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 mother of Khalsa Panth, all of us Sikhniaa [br]we are also going to be a mother some day, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 many of us are already a mother. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And I ask you what assess do we give to our children? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Is the aseesa like Mata Sahib Kaur Ji gave to her[br]Gursikhs, children, Khalsa Panth - to do Simran? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Is the aseesa like how Bibi Bhani Ji gave to [br]Guru Arjan Dev Ji? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What aseesa do we give to our children? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What advice do we give to our children? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is something we need to ponder on. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, in her Hukamnaame she would[br]refer to the Khalsa Panth as Farsand Puttar 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and she would say 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That don't forget the Guru and the Guru will [br]fulfils all your desires and help you in all your affairs. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And then the third bachan that Mata Sahib Kaur Ji [br]would write in her Hukamnaame 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is that give your dasvand, put your dasvand [br]into the langar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Start doing langar wherever you are,[br]do not stop langar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And if some Gursikhs in those village, [br]they would write a letter 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that we do not have a well in our village. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because in order for langar to go on there must[br]be a permanent source of water. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And some villages would not have a well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then Mata Sahib Kaur Ji would send Gursikhs [br]from Delhi to build a well in those villages. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And then send in a Hukamnaama that a well [br]is being built, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 build a well and start doing langar seva. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Collect dasvand and don't ever for one day [br]stop langar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Those were the bachan of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And even now sangat ji, Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji[br]in their book also write this 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 when we go for Yatra, when we go to all the[br]Panj Takht and all the other Gurdware 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 when we Matha Tek money into the collection box,[br]that money goes for the Gurdwara, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but we must all give Bheta into the the langar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So a lot of Gursikhs they would give bheta into the [br]collection box for the Gurdwara 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and they will also give bheta for Karah Prashad [br]or for langar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That bheta that goes for langar goes to [br]Mata Sahib Kaur Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Mata Sahib Kaur Ji give us her blessings[br]when we give bheta for langar in the Takht. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is the bachan written by Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji[br]in their book as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Mata Sahib Kaur Ji would send out these [br]Hukamnaame with the same bachan 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and if you read these Hukamnaame, even now,[br]you can feel so much of love 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in those letters by Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And that way they did Sikhi parchaar in Delhi [br]and they took care of panthic matters 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 economically, politically as well, they sent out Gursikhs [br]to solve the affairs of Sikhs in other states, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in other villages as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, Mata Sundri ji they brought up[br]Jassa Singh Alhuwalia sangat ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that now we know the history what [br]Jassa Singh Ahluwalia did for the Khalsa Panth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Won the Lal Qila, fought again the Turks, fought again the Mughals 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and became Sultan E Quam. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That because of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji Mata Sundri Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and I want to stress this point Sangat Ji [br]what a woman can do. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We have that ability in our hands, [br]we have the power in our hands to build a panth, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to bring up children who would grow up to [br]be Gursikhs, who would grow up to be Bhagats, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 who would grow up to serve the Panth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We have that ability in our hands, [br]to bring up our children so that they will serve 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Guru Gobind Singh Ji, they will serve [br]Guru Granth Sahib Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They would serve the purpose of Sikhi. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We also have the power in our hands [br]to break a panth as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As a woman, as a mother, as a wife [br]we have that ability. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We can see this how Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and[br]Mata Sundri Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 their whole life after Guru Gobind Singh Ji[br]they spent just to ensure Sikhi parchaar for Khalsa Panth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And even where Banda Singh Bahudar fought to [br]seek justice of the Sahibzaade 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 at that point Bahadur Shah, who was the emperor at that time, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Bahadur Shah had so much respect for Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and Mata Sundri Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 he would come daily to have their darshan, to meet [br]them, even to seek advice from the mothers as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Whatever money or whatever help needed to build[br]a dharamsala or anything, Bahadur Shah would help them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Bahadur Shah would always say if there is [br]anyway I can help, please tell me Mata Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And at that point when Bahadur Shah found out that [br]Banda Singh Bahadur had approached the Mughals 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and he came running to Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and Mata Sundri Ji asking what is happening? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I thought everything is fine, [br]why is Banda Singh Bahadur now fighting? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He's trying to kill the mughals. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Imagine a man, a mughal emperor asking for[br]Dilasa from mothers, from both the Mata Jis. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And I imagine that our Mata Jis, Mata Sundri Ji[br]and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji telling, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 don't worry Bahadur Shah, you're okay. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Banda Singh Bahadur is serving based on a [br]Hukam of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 which is to seek justice for the shaheedi of[br]the Sahibzaade. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Which is to give punishment to those [br]who have become so unjust 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 who have become so cruel. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You're okay, but if you do something wrong [br]we have no guarantee for you as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, as long as you are doing good [br]you stay within your dharam 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 then you are fine, you are safe. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And Bahadur Shah had the dilasa from both [br]Mata Jis 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and he kept continuing to serve the Mata Jis as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So sangat ji look at how powerful a woman can be. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Never think, that as a woman, we have no [br]power in us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the whole history of this Sikh Panth,[br]you see how Bebe Nanaki Ji 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 started doing seva, started doing Sikhi [br]parchaar from home, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and then you can see Mata Khivi Ji [br]then came out and fought the society, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the stigma set by the society. She did not care[br]about what the world was saying, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 all she cared about was to follow the hukam of [br]Guru Angad Dev Ji and Guru Nanak Dev Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then you can see Bibi Bhani Ji doing parchaar[br]of Sikhi, going village to village, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 being the head of Manji and doing parchaar of Sikhi. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then you can see Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and Mata Sundri Ji being the forefront of Khalsa Panth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Taking care of the political, economical aspect of Sikhi[br]in Delhi. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And giving Hukamnaame to Khalsa Panth as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And then you can see people like Mai Bhago Ji,[br]who fought in the battle, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 who became the personal bodyguard of [br]Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Who led one of those bibi who fought with the [br]Chaali Mukte, who inspired the Singhs as well 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to fight for Guru Gobind Singh Ji. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what a woman can do. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And never for once think that you have no power[br]in your hands. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We have the power in our hands to build our panth as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As a woman, as a mother, as a wife we have that [br]choice, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 what kind of family do I want to build. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What kind of children that I want to bring up. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We have that choice in our hands. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And so I hope that we are inspired by these [br]mothers in our Khalsa Panth 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and we can take some advice, take some examples[br]from their life 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that are practical in our life as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We can practise, follow the steps of these mothers [br]as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How they have become Sohagan, they have [br]made Parmatma happy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They have become so virtuous, the are called Gunvanti,[br]that they are called sohagan. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How we can become like that as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I hope that this series of 'Mothers of the Panth' has been an inspiring one, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 For especially all the Sikh women out there as well. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There's so much that we can learn and I urge all the Sikh woman 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to go and do research, to read about the lives of other[br]Sikh women as well and be inspired from their Jeevan. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So please forgive me for any mistakes I've made.
