[Interview with a new member]

I’m Tsubasa Sato, 24 years old.

I work as a trainer at a gym
while playing ice hockey.

I used to live in Yamanouchi town 
just north of Karuizawa.

I’ve lived in Karuizawa 
since I was in second-grade of elementary school.

[WHAT MADE YOU START PLAYING ICE HOCKEY? ]
I play as the captain of a team 
called <i>Karuizawa Fairies.</i>

I’ve been playing
since I was in third grade.

I started it because...

One of my classmates played ice hockey.

When seeing my classmate play ice hockey,

I just fell in love with it.

“It’s super cool."

"I will definitely try it.”

Since then, I’ve been really into it.

I’m a forward.
It’s like a striker.

I sometimes play as a defender
depending on the situation.

I play as quite a lot of different positions.

We won the regional championship,

but we couldn’t make it 
at the national championship yet.

I feel like it’s my fault 
when we can't get results.

I’m going to do my best with our teammates 
so that we achieve results this year.

[WHAT MADE YOU BRING TO TERRACE HOUSE?]
I’d like more people to know about
how good ice hockey is.

And I hope the experience
helps me gain confidence.

I feel like I haven't made
much progress recently.

So I'd like this experience to re-energize me.

[HOW'S YOUR LOVE LIFE?]
Probably I haven’t had a boyfriend 
for 5 or 6 years.

It makes me sad.

I’m a tomboy...

Both my personality and looks are boyish.

I usually wear pretty boyish clothes,

so that’s why I don’t have boyfriend.

Looks?

I prefer a good-looking guy, though.

I’m not that pretty,

so whatever is fine.

It's best to be with someone
who I can be myself with.

Also, I’m attracted guys that play sports.

I’d like someone who works hard, 
and who makes me want to root for them.

I’ve had a thing for those type of guys before.

[WHAT IF YOU FALL IN LOVE?]
If I get a boyfriend, it’d be fun.

but I have to play ice hockey and work...

If I fell in love with someone,

I wouldn’t be able to juggle everything.

I'm not that efficient.

But if I date someone, 
it could motivate me for ice hockey and all.

I'm a pretty giving person.

Being able to do something for him 
would probably become my first priority.

If he suggests me to wear clothes that likes,

I’m easily flattered,

so I'd probably change my clothes
to suit his preferences.

Through this opportunity,

I hope I will fall in love with someone.
