This video you are watching how to deliver or exteriorize the myomatous uterus which is a uterus containing myoma this is an important step in the myomectomy procedure becasue if you don't exteriorize or deliver the myomatous uterus outside of the abdominal cavity it would be quite difficult to make myomectomy surgery and control hemorrhage so it is a very important and to make an easier exteriorization and delivery the surgeon has to make the necessary skin incision, depending on the size and the number of myomas present once the uterus is exteriorized, it is always important to apply tonicy usually using a number 16 or 18 catheter which applies pressure on both sides of the uterine arteries and through this step we can occlude temporarily the blood flow to the site of surgery and the myomectomy procedure will be having less blood loss
