and in no particular[br]order - these are the best games of the GMTK 0:01:12.860,0:01:17.090 Game Jam for 2021. 0:01:17.090,0:01:21.479 Every jam, a game comes along that kinda just[br]blows my mind a little bit. 0:01:21.479,0:01:25.610 This time, that honour goes to Rift Shift. 0:01:25.610,0:01:30.799 This is a platform game with two little windows[br]that you can pick up and move about. 0:01:30.799,0:01:35.890 And, basically, anything that appears in one[br]window will also appear in the other. 0:01:35.890,0:01:40.439 And so to get your tiny wizard to the flag,[br]you'll need to place one window in the gap 0:01:40.439,0:01:45.630 in front of him, and use the other window[br]to sample a bit of background with some steps. 0:01:45.630,0:01:47.590 Now, you've got a route to the exit. 0:01:47.590,0:01:48.880 It's awfully clever. 0:01:48.880,0:01:53.799 There are also great puzzles that come from[br]moving the rift over the character, phasing 0:01:53.799,0:01:58.829 in stuff like doors and pressure-sensitive[br]buttons -
